What brings you back here?
Honestly, I originally just came here to see if there was any interest in some old collectables I'm trying to sell-off to help fund a house purchase... but I'm finding that I'm enjoying reading a lot of the threads (in particular about development) and it's got me wanting to work on something crypto related again. I've got a few ideas, hopefully I can get something going to help engage and support the community.

I got my real account back!
I've got an offer on one of the 2014 Originals that I'm going to accept. I also have a huge list of backlog PMs on the bmoconnotoo account because of the PM restrictions for newbies, so I'll likely be reaching out to those people with this account after work today.

Yay! I'm back, thanks everyone!

Stratobitz, I believe the project I'm currently working on would suit your needs very nicely. It's a web based stratum proxy that you can control from anywhere, simply point your miners at it then switch pools with ease from any internet connected computer. For example, if you register with the username Stratobitz, you would point your miners to stratobitz.minerminder.com and the port assigned to your account on your dashboard. From your dashboard you can add/remove pools and choose which pool your miners will connect to from an easily navigable menu. We're still in BETA, but it's been extremely stable so far and we're always looking for more people to test it out and provide feedback. Please check out our ANN thread for Miner Minder. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks!

Howdy!
My name is Brian, and I've been helping to develop this and will provide tech support here and on the FB group.
Once we are ready for a full open beta this will turn into the primary support thread and contain any service updates pertinent to the community.
Thanks to those of you who decide to help get us ready for launch!

These coins look great, my friend sent me a picture of them while he was at the NYC Bitcoin convention a week or so again and I've been mulling over picking up a tenth, half and one BTC coin in silver. Does anyone know if there are any coupon codes floating around? Edit: Just read the thread, any news on the possible implementation of your 2FA scheme on the block chain itself? I've got my order sitting in the cart, but I'm worried that what if something happens and Titan has to shutdown. What would be the protocol for making sure everyone with 2FA gets their private keys?

hello GAWminers,, i'm newbie in here,, i just to ask why my ORDER #2677 status is Awaiting Fulfillment, but my payment transaction using bitcoin last hours ago was confirmed, i email josiah not reply.
i need your answer .. thank you
That status means you've paid, and your payment has been received. They are in the process of putting your order together, that way they can ship it to you.

...hope they won't skip on cables like they did recently prompting me to spend a good deal of time with support trying to get them.
Just a note, they don't include the DC barrel cable anymore. It says so on the website, so make sure you order enough for however many seeds you ordered.

The site uses shares submitted, which isn't really a reflection of your "hashrate" reported by your miner - it is what your miner calls work units. On my own Gridseeds, I've noticed that if I use higher difficulty I see a big variance in my shares submitted per 10 minutes. I use 128 for my 6MH and 10MH rigs of Gridseeds. For less than 16 of the 5-chip Gridseeds, I would use 64 for your difficulty.
I have 20 GS grids each as one worker with your pool. Is there a place I can see shares submitted then instead of hash rate if it's not the most useful of number? If I increase my difficulty you're saying I'll see a hashrate closer reflecting what I see locally, but it sounds like that doesn't really matter, more of an appearance issue? I've noticed that if I have my seeds clocked higher than 850, they look like they are running awesome on my end (no HW or anything), but the rate reported by the pool is always 2-3 Mh/s lower than what I'm seeing. My assumption is that they actually aren't actually running that great, even at 855 I see this problem. So I put them back to 850 and now what I'm seeing on my end, and what I'm seeing at the pool are just about the same (minor variance but nothing worth sweating over).

Did the spare LTC signs already go up on auction? I think I missed it.

We will be releasing more information about the GAW Club later today. You will also each receive you member ID/login!
Your log in will be the same as your normal log in Good! I just re-read that part and started searching my e-mails to find my new login.

From a users perspective, can somebody explain why there are two different withdraw limits?
0.00005825 XBT is the pre configured but 'not recommended' lower withdraw limit and the 0.00100365 XBT is the recommended withdraw limit
What is the advantage of switching to the recommended withdraw limit?
I believe the smaller is essentially dust, and if you have a bunch of those transactions when you go to send those coins you'll get hit pretty hard on transaction fees?

We have already begun the update If you are a club member, log in to your account and check the pricing! I'm seeing $184.50 for single Gridseeds in the "Members" area. Edit: edited for content.

If I buy 20 hosted gridseeds, how are they broken up in the UI? Can I point like 3-5 at one pool and the rest at another pool? I haven't used GAW for hosted miners yet, but I plan to starting tomorrow.

I'll bump my bid to 14 BTC. Less than the current top bid, but I'm not a new account and I have an established trade history. If their bid falls through, let me know.

Awesome promotion, and I'm glad to be a founder. I'm excited to see what you have in store for us!
I'm interested in how the Double Reward Payout will work? Especially for those of us who don't have our miners hosted at GAW? Does the promotion only cover miners we purchased during March, or does it include all the miners we have purchased up until the 15th? Will you let us point an equal hash as what we have purchased to a pool of our choice?
Thanks again! I look forward to hearing more and getting even better deals in the future!
