1  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: August 08, 2013, 03:04:07 AM
I can use my disability money on anything I want. There is no laws or rules against that.
There are laws that prohibit its use for certain things, eg. gambling. It has been discussed here.

Unfortunately there aren't laws like that. However, if drugs/alcohol contribute to the disability then the checks will stop coming. In addition, you must be receiving treatment to keep getting money (unless you have a good excuse).
We don't do drugs or drink. Me and my mom both have bipolar and bad backs. No treatment.

Bad backs? What is the actual condition that can't be treated?

Lazy fat-fuck-itis.
2  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner USB group buy REOPENED! (previous customers only!) .175 per unit! on: August 08, 2013, 02:04:22 AM
I also want as many as possible, if extras become available.

Also, next to my name it doesn't say paid, but I have paid for those ten. Please let me know if you need the tx number again or anything like that.

Thanks again for handling this group buy arklan.   Smiley

Joey obviously is a big a**hole and deserves all kinds of shit, but sending pizzas his way is hurting the wrong people: pizza maker and delivery driver.
Whoever is doing this, stop it.
If you can't come up with legit ways of pestering Joey without annoying innocent third parties, just leave him alone.
His life is already pretty miserable, and it will most likely get worse over time by his own actions.

Onkel Paul

Exactly!!!

Scamming a low-wage working person and a small business owner is a poor way to attempt to shame some small-time scammer.

I encourage everyone to report this low-life to the government/authorities, and to dox him in way that is legal and fucks with him exclusively... but don't waste 20 minutes of some unrelated person's time and the cost of gas + making the pizza. You are just fucking over some unrelated (most likely decent) people yourself. It doesn't really hurt the guilt party at all... he just doesn't answer the door. If anything he'll get a free pizza at some point.

After reading 13 pages of this thread, I conclude that this gentleman poses a poor credit risk.

hahaha, #2 best quote for this nonsense.

Quote from: joeyjmr8484
We don't need to bathe really cause we only go out once a month and don't get dirty when we do go out or get dirty at home so no need to bathe and/or hot water. Sure it would feel nice to have a hot shower, but it isn't worth paying a gas bill for to shower once a month or so. As for your terms...they are ridiculous. And the homeless shelter...I wouldn't do that for 50 BTC...we are disabled...we don't work. And we only rent the SUV once a month anyway for 1 day(this month was special cause Enterprise is closed on the 4th and they gave us a very good discount) so we have no way to get to homeless shelter anyway.

Okay upon further reflection I realize that this has got to be complete bullshit... a troll for the ages. austin must have created this character and be fucking with us. No way on earth anyone is this pathetic/sad/weird/creepy/lonely/dirty.

Also, I don't think people should be publicly posting his mothers name, or those of other relatives and/or friends.

And I hope that you are recovering well, player3.

His mother has also scammed people as well as trying to sell her shriveled ass camwhoring people incessantly on Seals.  That's why she's banned there, too.

They are both scumbags and scammers.  She's not just some innocent bystander.

ahh I see, thanks. Hadn't gotten that far yet.
6  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 25, 2013, 12:17:10 PM
I am NOT trying to find money to make a payment to you. I am trying to find money to play poker. How fucken stupid are you? I said you are NOT getting one red cent from me and that is final.

He is pretty stupid to lend to you in the first place. And you don't need money to play poker. There's numerous online games that are free, you fat fuck.

So many +1s.

Worldwide shortage of + and 1 keys due to this post.

Eh I have nothing against gays, unless there scamming thieves. Then I cant stand them.

Best quote that came from this debacle. Punctuation aside.

You should try not paying your taxes for once, see what happens to you.

Nothing.

Find me a law, on paper, that says you have to.
I'm not even American and I know Tongue

I'm only about 1/4 through this thread and while it is great late-night entertainment while waiting for confirmations, honestly I think you guys are being sort of dicks. I don't know what has happened beyond what I have read, but mainly because I think so much of my own opinion, I won't wait until I've read everything to comment.

austin, you went in to this loan being almost certain that he would default. As you said you were hoping to find the rare honest person asking for help here... but more than that you knew you knew you could enforce the loan physically or otherwise in the likely event that he defaulted. I really don't have a problem generally with "doxing" (or whatever) people who pull scams, or enforcing contracts/punishing violators in other "creative" ways. It just seems to me as though you knew what the result would be when you entered the agreement. Normally I would say that is your business, but I guess what's really bothering me about this is... pay the pizza guys, people. Don't screw over completely innocent low-wage hard-working stiffs... it makes those of you who did no better than the rip-off artist.

Kudos to Tradefortress for sending the scammer's loan application fee to austin, class act.

Hashrate is still ~21 TH/s... didn't it go up to around 28 a day or two ago, or did I dream that??

Was there an announcement on when gen 2 devices would roll out?

Come on guys, ASICMINER is still the only company selling gen 1 ASICs in any quantity, let's roll in that dough before we start thinking about gen 2. I hope for the sake of keeping the competition in the dark that friedcat doesn't mention a thing about the next gen devices until they are days away from shipping. Ideally that will be right around the time that BFL figures out how to put together a working device, and/or the companies using the Avalon chips come to market.   Grin

.. sent order via email one week ago .. got btc address .. was asking for confirmation (hey, that's are no peanut orders) ..

NO MORE REACTION  Angry

I guess if we are asking to much, friedcat is ignoring us  Huh

What do you mean you asked for confirmation?

I have placed multiple orders with friedcat via this method and have never had to wait more than 24 hours to hear back from him. I wonder if they are being overwhelmed by orders, missing some messages to the spam folder, ignoring emails that don't meet a certain criteria, or what.

This is probably one of the best investments mankind has seen in a very very long time. This baby is paying a sweet amount of dividend out as well as rising in value like a monster. God I love myself for buying at the right time  Grin

A board seat (5000 shares) sold for BTC500 at the IPO, and Bitcoin was around $13 at the time. Right now the last trade on BTC-TC was for BTC2.551/share, and Bitcoin is at $131.84... that's turning a $6500 investment in to over 1.6 million dollars in less than a year.

Decent.  Roll Eyes

Blockchain.info by far, but you're always better off using a wallet that only you have the private key to.

Woozaa, BTC0.02653753 per share. I'd bet we'll see 3BTC shares on the passthoughs by the end of the day. I guess I'm not the only one buying block eruptors and USBs.    Grin Grin Grin

17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales on: May 29, 2013, 08:48:39 AM
I have sent two (polite) e-mails and got an answer after 2-3 days, with payment address. I paid 2 hours later, and I got my tracking number about 55 hours later, but the shipment was made well within the promised 48 hours after payment. And the shipping was *very* expedited, just a bit more than 48 hours from Shenzhen to Geneva. So I have all reasons to be satisfied, especially in the context of (bad) business practices in the ASIC market.

Almost exactly my result, only the first e-mail response came in about 36 hours, and mine was shipped to Vancouver.

Currently hashing away at 13 GH/s with 99.99% efficiency.   Grin
