So I have exactly 33492.474595 808coin and it has been staking for 53 days. The Mint probability is 46.40%. Has anybody ever had it take this long to stake? I have a couple million on a separate block and it stakes fine.

Dont want to be mean or anything but exchanges was spelled incorrectly. People will look at that and think the devs lack attention to detail |

it will be a reward for those who keep their coins? Mr. Eggman not to long ago said there will be a reward for holders of 808 coin so ive been holding 100% and not selling a dime. Nobody knows when he will make the announcement but i'm hoping he comes through with his plans and I and others get rewarded happily for not selling through these rough times. |

OK, everyone is someone actually working on a concept for this coin the currency? I would like to contribute in any form. Help on social media, do graphic design, do a new web page but I don't see anyone who is in charge. Can I get a valid answer please?
Mr. Eggman which is the person who created 808coin gave us permission to do whatever. The web page was just updated not too long ago so thats fine. I want to run facebook and instagram ads would you like to work on it together? If you go back a few pages Mr. Eggman also said something about rewarding long time 808 users so we still have to wait and see what that is You mean lunching facebook and instagram accounts (and keep them updated)? no like paying for advertisements. I know facebook ads are very cheap one of my friends does them for about $4. im not sure how much instagram ads are. We would just have to come up with something unique No, I was thinking about actually backing up this project with a better communication policy. Not about just buying some ads. message me maybe we can figure something out |

1. How many coins do you need to receive stakes?
2. When you download the wallet do you need to do addnodes and join a pool or can you just let it sync then buy coins and start staking?

I think a day after the hardfork we should ALL post on twitter, facebook, and instagram about 808coin at the same time. I think this will help bring new investors in with their new found money and also to remind people that 808 is still strong. Im also going to look into running facebook and instagram ads for that day.
So, the hardfork is canceled! Can we start?  Im going around on youtube and searching up different POS coins like Goku, B3, Rain etc. and commenting about how great of a staking coin 808 is. We could make a bigger impact and bring new investors if others did the same. |

I agree with the notion that we need to increase marketing. However there is still an underlying problem alluded to in some earlier posts. If the only purpose of this coin is staking, then it is not sustainable. The only way to keep the value up (esp in light of the increasing supply) is to bring in new investors. Those investors will only be able to realize their profit (i.e. sell their coins) by selling to new investors coming in. When you run out of investors, and you will, there will be lots of sellers but no more buyers and the price crashes. (Note: That doesn't mean 808 is dead, it could sit at a low level for some time until a fresh group of people come in and want to invest/stake.)
Marketing alone isn't the answer. If you really want this coin to be successful over the long term, there needs to be uses for it other than staking.
I agree 100 %. As I mentioned before the person who is in charge about the webse can contact me because I am willing to improve it. But someone has to care about a whitepaper/roadmap/blockexplorer/onlinewallet. Otherwise stacking will not be enough to get new investors. I am willing to help improve 808, work on the website and improve the marketing and the messaging. I am doing this already for a small $100K market cap coin. But before we go out market this like crazy we need to create a vision for the coin. What does this coin want to be when it grows up? What are the use cases? The best use case seems to me to be raising money for the music industry or music education, e.g. helping fund education for music teachers. http://www.wqxr.org/story/173373-five-charities-devoted-music-education/ How does the community feel about using this coin for charitable donations? My two nieces play the piano and this has been a life changing investment and I am sure others may be supportive of this idea. Are there are any business owners on this forum that would consider accepting 808 for their goods and service? How does the community feel about using this coin for charity donations in general? We need some tie to the real world, staking alone is not a use case otherwise this coin begins to resemble a Ponzi scheme where early investors earn good returns and late investors are left holding the bag once the price collapses due to excessive supply like what happened with Embercoin and InflationCoin that are both now in death spirals. Sounds like great ideas. Maybe a music streaming platform that pays artist in 808coin every time they post music or something? |

Idk how many times im going to say it but more than ever we NEED marketing! Whoever wants to work together to do some marketing send me a message and we can get to work ASAP. Also remember that the most successful investors make money by doing the opposite, Buy up when others get scared and sell when others get hyped up. A level head will keep you good in whatever happens in the market.
I guarantee all these people who are getting scared and selling especially those who sell below the current price will feel really really bad when the coin comes back. People think times like these last forever when they happen but they dont. When it comes back its going to come back harder then ever especially with new investors. Those who let their emotions get to them with crypto always lose.
Agreed, we collectively need to go into Medium, Steemit, Blogspot, Facebook, Twitter and promote 808 anywhere we can to communicate the strengths of this crypto currency and why its a promising investment hampered by the current mania over the BTC forks. I don't want to see this die like InflationCoin or EmberCoin have. 808 has been a solid little staking soldier and I see no reason to punish the coin. Also the website is forgettable, we need something better with blockchain stats and links to the large number of media articles written about 808. Is there a developer / investor that could collaborate it build a better website? The current website does not do justice to the platform. I joined the 808 Slack but its a ghost town, no one is on it. I have a cousin who develops websites and said he would accept payment in 808 but the devs have not answered |

With Nova closing we must get 808 coin listed on another exchange. I mentioned Coinexchange a couple months ago and I got knocked down saying we don't need more exchanges and that volume needs to grow on Nova but now look what has happened. Its always best to get a coin listed on as many exchanges as possible as we never know when one can go down like in this case Nova. I still higly recommend trying to get 808coin listed on Coinexchange as this exchange is growing in popularity in the last few months. 808coin is however listed on Tradesatoshi but the volume is low and hardly any sell or buy orders.
Agreed, we need to support 808. I did some research on coin listings for another high staking coin I am supporting. Livecoin.net - charges 4BTC, probably out of reach https://www.livecoin.net/en/coin-listingCoingather.com - about 0.5 BTC accomplished via votes - https://www.coingather.com/vote/Bittrex recently kicked out Darcrus and Bitshares and the effect on the prices was catastrophic. Do you know if there is cenetral communication channel where 808 investors congregate? Telegram? Slack? IRC? Instead of spending money on getting listed on new exchanges that money should be spent on marketing. All that needs to be done is the coin marketed properly and the price will increase dramatically with the new investors. 808coin is listed on about 2 or 3 other exchanges besides cryptopia and they barely have volume so how do we know that listing 808 on another exchange will bring the price up? |

Do you guys have a plan for a new site or to ever do facebook ads, instagram ads, get more popular people to tweet out about 808? How are you contributing? This is a community driven crypto. Theres a dev team but the community needs to support what they believe in. By retweeting on twitter every time I see anything about 808 and telling people I know about it. I have a cousin who designs websites and said he would accept 808 as payment to make a new site but none of the 808 dev team has responded after they said they need to redesign the site. I suggested facebook and instagram ads and would gladly help but again no response. 808 is also on my signature. How are you contributing? Sounds like a lot of "I would do it but i didnt get paid" or "I have a lot of great ideas but no one said i could do it" My suggestion is to find a project to work on that utilizes 808 in some way and can help build the community project area out a little bit more, helping to show that the 808 userbase is actually developing an infrastructure. Looks like we have either a whale investor or a big staker trying to bring down the price with 3 BTC of orders now at 22 Sat. Does anyone have any rich uncles who can buy them out and hold, distributing it like a friend of the coin would do? Please don't race this guy or gal down in price.
Whoever it is is not bringing the price down because he set a sell order making buyers come to him. If he went and just bought up all the buy orders then yea he would bring the price down a lot so we should be thanking him if anything for not doing that lol |
