1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 16, 2024, 06:51:36 AM
Well, I took my profits from DOGE, it took 2 years of waiting. I prefer not to be involved in the current meme market, there are too many of them. And buying the most popular is not that potentially profitable.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toncoin on: April 25, 2024, 04:47:11 AM
TON seems promising, lately, they started promoting and working on it more and even got a partnership with USDT, so I suppose there are more to come and it's worth investing if you're interested in it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Satoshi Claim Case Update on: March 29, 2024, 07:25:10 AM
It was already proven that he is indeed not satoshi nakamoto so he has a lot of explaining to do. He will be in even worse trouble if the money he has accumulated came from illegal activities. I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes right now.

True. I thought that it was over already, but I suppose this man is not going to give up. Still don't think that he's gonna convince anyone.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to use Telegram bot for trading ? on: March 16, 2024, 06:14:18 AM
I wouldn't recommend relying on Telegram bots for crypto trading. If they were truly effective, they wouldn't be selling their services. Following their advice could lead to losses. From what I've seen, Bubblebot doesn't seem trustworthy based on their website and social media. It's essential to be cautious and do your research before trusting any trading service.

True, trading on any social media sounds weird and dangerous, I wouldn't even try it. There are no guaranties at all, it's even safer to buy and keep your coins on an exchange.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is rising faster and faster, It is time to Buy Bitcoin ! on: March 07, 2024, 05:37:03 AM
I guess as the bitcoin halving is approaching, it is like a hype among investors to buy as much since in past there have been trends of bitcoin reaching all time high price after the halving. I think there will be a bit of bear market that will come right after a few months of halving as hype fades away, then I guess it would be more wise to buy instead of right now when it is breaking all records and we don't know when and at how much it might stop! Grin

Right now it's pointless for regular people to buy BTC IMO. It's very expensive, an opportunity to buy it cheaper might come. I stopped buying it when it crossed $40k.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Bons Said Ethereum is More Decentralized Than Bitcoin on: February 24, 2024, 02:43:43 AM
Instead of keeping ETH as a POW that keeps its network secured, they've made it into a POS to make every who's already rich through it become richer.

If it's about the discussion about centralization and decentralization, the most decentralized cryptocurrency is none other than Bitcoin.

Keep that in mind and whoever tells shit about Bitcoin for being lesser decentralized and comparing it to a coin that has premined and changed its consensus favoring the rich is talking nonsense.

True, I don't really understand how anyone can call something more decentralized than BTC. It's is an example of decentralization.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 12, 2024, 04:31:12 PM
Not if you use hardware wallet in a clever way... haha

You are very confident that if you store assets in a hardware wallet they will never be stolen,
I think even in a hardware wallet, if bad luck everything will be lost somehow

Only if the hard wallet itself will be stolen. Everything can be stolen if someone will try hard enough.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To any Bitcoin holder who lost their seed: How did you lose it? on: January 27, 2024, 02:33:23 PM
Sad to see stories how people lost their seed phrases. I hope I will never face this problem, I'm simply having it on a two copies of paper in a different places.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 19, 2024, 09:12:17 AM
I think it's the mystery that will stay unsolved forever. He did everything to hide himself.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rollercoaster of emotions. How to deal with? on: January 04, 2024, 08:35:48 AM
I prefer just not to watch too much news and not to open my wallet too many times when I'm not planning to buy or sell something. Not Bitcoin, of course, I'm planning to hold it for many years to come, this is why I'm not too bothered about short-term fluctuations.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: December 31, 2023, 05:47:07 AM
I think promoting Bitcoin stability is partly a matter of avoiding the Alcoin crisis, major changes in cryptocurrency activity, high inflation and excessive volatility, and the Alcoin market. Volatility can increase uncertainty, hinder investment, hinder growth in Alcocent.
What is your opinion?

BTC went +150% this year, is this stability? Yeah, of course it's more stable than most altcoins because we know that even when BTC goes down - it will come back sooner or later. With altcoins, we can't be sure about that.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we all learnt this 2023 on: December 28, 2023, 02:59:48 PM
Good thing that you've learned that, congrats. I can definitely say that those are good thoughts. Some people never understand that, I hope that your crypto journey will be bright and interesting.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craze for Meme coins never ends? on: December 20, 2023, 09:59:20 AM
I think it might end someday. Memecoins are just in trend now. And trends are dying at some point.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wiser? on: December 13, 2023, 06:15:03 AM
At the current market condition and having bull run in mind, these persons have $10,000 to invest.

  • Mr. Bob goes 100% with bitcoin.
  • Miss Alice goes 50% bitcoin and 50% random altcoins.
  • Mr. theymos goes with bitcoin but $100 weekly DCA.

I go practically and safer in MR.BOB why?

1 - I don't have to check the market or do other things But waiting.

2 - Don't have to Gamble in Shitcoins or other low factor coins but Bitcoin.

3 - Bull market is not good for DCA as the price keeps rising.

but I respect other answers of course because it is our money to decide so act on it .

Exactly my thoughts. DCAing in the bear market is wise, but in the bull market you're just gonna miss out a lot most likely with it, you should go all in if you can.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 08, 2023, 08:59:15 AM
Totally agree with the op, in this world today, we no longer know who is who, alot of people comofladge themselves as our loved ones, our family or friends, but right inside their heart, we know not what their ambitions are, or what they are capable of, and like it's commonly said, that the heart of man is desperately wicked, it is better that we always be very careful around every one, most especially in terms of finance.

Anybody can crazy when they see money, and this is very possible due to alot of sufferings in the world today, so for every one of us that hold bitcoin, it is important we safeguard ourselves and keep our holding to ourselves alone, not even my wife knows that amount of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies I hold, not to talk of friends.

I think a lot of people underestimate how is it important to be secured online or offline. And they often tend to brag about what they have. Maybe I'm kinda paranoid, but I don't share that stuff with anyone, and I'm using only fake name on social media to at least feel safer.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins ? on: December 04, 2023, 03:07:58 AM
ERC20 and TRC20 are both pretty good. If you're not sending your USDT often, I'd choose ERC20, TRC20 has cheaper fees, but TRX is not as big and trustable as ETH.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Seed Phrase. on: November 24, 2023, 09:12:44 AM
I didn't check my seed phrase for 6 months at least, lol. I know that it's safe, I don't need to check it every week or even month.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Javier Milei just won the presidentiial election in Argentina on: November 20, 2023, 02:44:13 AM
That's great. And it actually not just represents how government will treat Bitcoin, but also what people want. And seeing how most of the country is for Bitcoin feels good and inspiring.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTT Token on: November 10, 2023, 11:23:31 AM
hi ,
my brother like most of Americans invested in FTT , what do you feel the future of FTT now ? Will it die a slow death ?
TBH, I thought that the project would be long gone after what happened to them. I didn't expect that somebody will act as another CEO, and will try to save the project in John J. Ray III.

Will it be the same again as what it was at first? Obviously no. Will the trust of the investors be regained after what happened? Probably because it seems like there are still investors who are investing in FTT tokens for some unknown reasons. It's kind of stupid that they tried to scam you, but you still choose to trust them because... I don't know. Probably some might not know the past of the project, and they just invested into it blindly.

Future of the token, and the project? It will slowly die I guess. What happened in Terra Luna, and FTX are different, but both projects became very unpopular now after what happened to them. Both of them still have community though even though they tried to scam their investors which is for me, very absurd and ridiculous. I will not touch this project, and it's a good thing that I didn't touch it because I'm thinking of doing it a few years ago when it's still at it's peak.

Yeah, I thought that too. But I still think most people won't trust them again. Trying to gain new users is the only way to stay alive for them now.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I did just to invest in Bitcoin. on: November 06, 2023, 02:08:23 AM
Congrats. I understand that it can be hard when people around judging you, I wish you to stay strong and focus on your dreams and goals. Everything is possible if you keep being consistent.
