Any reason I can't sync my daemon after updating to the latest version? I start it up and it just sits there at "The daemon will start synchronizing with the network. It may take up to several hours". If I change my log level I can see that it's trying to connect to nodes and it says "connect failed" on each attempt.

Do we get minions for each compensation unit we're supposed to receive as well?
I haven't found a single block. Mining on 4 threads from the desktop and I am getting all of the updates but haven't found anything yet...
What's your hashrate? I'm mining at about 2KH and I'm up to ~1000 coins.

Where do i check balance?
Type refresh in simplewallet

I got "stratum authentication failed" using cpuminer-multi
He has to disable address verification. He's doing that as we speak
I don't see a constant update in the Daemon...if I enter the "show_hr" I'll start getting a running list of the hashrate but nothing about blocks. Is that normal?
Here's what you'll see if you find a block with show_hr running and the default log level hashrate: 445.3158 2014-Jun-17 13:40:24.697416 [miner 26]Found block for difficulty: 405821 hashrate: 444.5263

You're mining with a ducknote address, right? Starts with dd? Extremepool has had issues with people mining with either invalid ducknote addresses or non-ducknote addresses, which stops the payment processor and delays you receiving coins.
is this coin dead already?
Why would you think that? The network hashrate is at a healthy 200 KH/s. I'm selling, no one's buying Why would someone buy from you when there's a lower priced option? lol

My address starts with ddd. Is that invalid?
Mine does as well. You're fine.

WTS 200k BCN for DUCK, pm me with offers edit: im mining on extremepool for like 3hours at ~100h/s and still no ducknotes? edit2: i got my first duckiiies Some idiot is mining using a Monero address which breaks the automatic payment processor. 33zer0w0lf has to go in and manually run payments until whoever is using that address fixes it. That or the Ducknote dev answers why the hash for payment addresses has been changed so the pool dev(s) can fix the address validator.

What's the pool address and port for MRO? I don't have a GUI on my servers and want to mine using a command line miner like simpleminer or cpuminer.

Someone used an invalid address on extemepool.org so the payment processor isn't sending out payments. There are 6 blocks that will be paid out. Apparently address validation isn't working correctly. It's being sorted out as we speak.
Ssshush, glad to hear. Thanks for communicating, very very much appreciated! No problem. Looks like someone used a BCN address...
