Anybody else having issue when mining on Nicehash? My bat file follows the provided example. But after a while it seems to be rebuilding DAG and then looks like it just stops then >pause and >Press any key to continue... Never happens when mining on other pools (i.e. ethermine) though

Anybody else having the same issue with me?
It has been numerous times lately that the pool reports to me that I'm not submitting anymore shares and when I tried to remotely connect to my rig I'm unable to (meaning the rig is freezing and needs a hard reboot). Checking the log the last entry would be somethign like Allocating DAG... or DAG xx% which isn't very helpful in determining what is going on wrong with the rig/miner.

Can you also make the miner quit instead of spewing "unspecified launch failure"s in the case a gpu crashes?

How do I display the ping time like in your screenshots?

Will CLO be added as dev fee soon? It takes quite a while to rebuild the DAG everytime it switches.
In the meantime, does anybody know which dev fee coin that has smallest DAG for now?

the presence of the new digital currency Edgy Cash will be used to lower transaction costs, transaction speed, and provide the best security. let alone the project will also launch its own Digital Market, where Edgy Cash will be able to buy and sell digital goods items anonymously at a low cost. interesting projects.
lol are you high bro

If anyone wants to trade some LUX for BTC without having to send it to cryptopia before BTC is at zero, I will sell you 1 lux for 1 BTC straight across. I will be the loser on that trade very soon, as LUX just may have a use, but BTC is just a coin.
Can't tell whether this guy is trolling or plain stupid

Yep pretty sure this will settle around 0.001, which is still more than 3x before they announced the fork!

This is a very strange issue, in Windows 10, the 0.6 miner is stable but once you randomly click inside the cmd window, it will just freeze (as in not outputting any new lines), the GPUs clocks are reduced to around 1500MHz (my cards are 1080Tis). I have to close the window and start the miner again. I can reproduce the issue at any time and happens in all of my rigs, so the issue must be not in my system.
Not sure why this is happening, it is not a critical issue but dstm you might want to look at it.

Can someone explain to me how to use the telemetry feature? When I enable it, I can access my stats using the same rig browser by going to localhost:2222. However if I tried to access it from other computer in same network, it is not loading. For example, if the rig local IP address is 192.168.29.207, I tried to access it by going to 192.168.29.207:2222. Thanks

Is this dead already? It's been a while since dstm posted something here. Said gonna release 0.6 soon but no sign of it coming

Hello to everyone! I am a new member on this forum so I would like your opinion on some things if possible. I want to begin mining and I have found different opinions on this subject, regarding GPUs, what to mine, profits and so on.... My plan is to mine Eth but I have found that 1080 ti is not the best option for that, Eth is also dropping down on the market, the thing is I want to start making profits ASAP (not in the long run).
Due to those searches I have decided to compare these 2 GPUs:
MSI RX580 ARMOR 8G OC, 8GB GDDR5, 256bit - 550eu ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-11G-GAMING - 813eu
Both have same warranty, so which would you prefer as a best buy? (any other suggestion is welcome)
Currently I have I3 2nd generation sandy bridge with 8gbs RAM and 1TB HDD so I wont be building a RIG (lets see how the profits go on this PC with one of the above GPUs) I don't want to waste money for 1080 ti (if not needed) but also I wouldn't want to stay outdated with the RX580.
Thank you in advance!
Get the 1070/1070Ti instead. You get more flexibility in algorithm choices (the RX580 doesn't do well in algos other than Eth) and still has great Eth hashrate since they don't use GDDR5X

Ya that's super weird. If it is detected in BIOS then it's a different story, since many people didn't bother checking the BIOS and simply thought it is not working/not detected while it's actually just Windows issue which takes super long time to install the driver.
|
|
|
Hmm if it's not even detected in BIOS then it should be not driver/Windows issue. Did you say it's not even detected in BIOS when you unplug all other cards and only have this stubborn card directly into the x16 slot?

Normal windows software doesn't work on windows server, especially 2008. No drivers or support for any pro hardware. Open Solaris is a better choice. It's very stable and supports anything out of the box. I have a workstation for video editing w 2 Xeons and 4 GPUs running on opensolaris. BeOS is decent too. The fastest I've ever used. Still insanely fast 22 years later on my raspberry pi. ..... You don't realize that article also applies to Windows 10, do you?

|
Try enabling 4G decoding in the bios setting?
|
|
|
HEY GUYS!!!! Is GDDR5x really that bad for algos?
For memory intensives, like eth, yeah for now
|
|
|
Cryptonight? RIP nvidia rigs...
|
|
|
Now onto important business. Who has heard about Eth going POS and it causing mining to go to sh!t in 6 months time?
Old news. That rumor has been going on since like 2016.
