Fucking hilarious.... the guy from the UK rocking up with his protest is probably the "security issue" which has forced them to relocate!! You couldn't make this up.
This is probably the case. Are they now classing a minor protest as a 'security issue'

Yes I think they should as basically they are just stealing peoples fiat and bitcoins!

What they have said is absolute rubbish! Excuses after excuses!

It's really taking them a long time.
Tick tock, tick tock. Time goes by so slowly!

The announcement comes in 20 minutes, right?
I'm not sure, but what makes you think this?

It seems MtGox has started BTC withdrawals, but the transfer queue has been flooded with requests.
I tried it out and got Transfer queue is currently not accepting more requests, please retry later
The NEWS FEED IS HERE - I suggest people try reading it before trying withdrawals as it clearly states THURSDAY there will be another announcement: https://www.mtgox.com/newsInteresting, on Thursday they will probably just put it off to next week for another 'announcement'

As everyone is in different time zones, is there a certain time to send the PM for, or can it be any time over the 17th?

On Bitstamp I have 2 different depositing addresses, one created in December and one in January.
Would the one created in December still be valid or is it only the most up to date that is valid.
Thanks

Yeah I suppose, but you would need 50 posts before 17th. It really depends on where In the world you are!

mtgox 1btc = $360 coinbase 1btc = $650
Spread is now ~45%. Those assholes at mtgox have a license to print money: buy their own cheap btc from panic sellers, don't allow anyone else to transfer out but themselves, sell on another exchange like coinbase for an instant 100% gain, rinse, and repeat. Maybe that's the plan all along, criminals...
This could be the answer mate! I wouldn't be at all surprised!
