Second it's good you have not made up a self congratulatory thread like many others do to celebrate their each rank as they progress on the forum in hope to earn more merits on them. They are usually deemed to be of low quality and serve no purpose but you have created a thread with right intentions like some sort of merit hunt opportunity for newbies and low rank members to learn through these tests and riddles and thanks to mention mine also.I know the joy when we see ourselves among high rank members rising above from the low rank which shows the quality of our post that have made us rise to that level.Keep up the good work.

By the way i am also legendary today and feeling good... Cheesy

Wow congratulations also to you @aysg76 for attaining the highest rank, great job! All the high ranking members, you are our inspiration to do better and I entirely agree with you that @nakamura12 did a great job. We are grateful the he opens a great opportunity for us newbies to hunt merits by the games he created inspired by other high ranking members works he mentioned including you.  He celebrated his rank up by giving and helping low ranks and we will be excited and thrilled if all the members who rank up will also do the same like nakamura12 and we will  be excited to participate.

Congratulations @nakamura12 on your rank up, a job well done and you deserve a celebration. For me, obtaining merits here is quite difficult, much more difficult than learning bitcoin trading hahaha.  I have been here quite a while, registered way back 2018, became inactive for more than a year, recently came back and barely got merits to rank up. I know it needs more hardwork, knowledge and skills so that you can be fruitful and helpful to everybody here. That is why every time someone notice my post and send me merits, I literally jump for joy hahaha. Kodus to you for your achievements, and all of you high-ranking members are our motivator and role model though there are a few who are intimidating and sarcastic but we are all here to learn and to earn.

I am from Philippines where everything has a value added tax hahaha. It sure is an income that is why it is taxable and crypto has becoming mainstream here and a lot of people are earning big time that is why they are looking on how to capture taxes on it.. The only challenge to tax authorities is how they gonna track the income earned and if it will be classify as capital asset or ordinary asset as it has a different tax computation.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: November 07, 2021, 04:48:01 PM
Bitcoin has been proven to be able to make customers switch to crypto, this is what makes the central bank worried if crypto continues to increase, complete money control makes anyone not worry about saving their money into crypto and of course this will make the central bank collapse.
I think Central Bank is not yet worried about cryptos because crypto is not yet declared as legal tender or as a mode of payment (here in my country) and so no any kind of business is accepting crypto payment. Fiat money is still backed by the government and is still recognized as legal tender. Crypto has a long way to go before it can collapse the Central Bank.

I agree on this, infact in my place, the government is now looking on how to capture the taxes that should be paid on income from cryptocurrencies. But they have yet issued guidelines on the classification of cryptos and the computation of the taxes to be imposed. I was happy as my country was an early adapter to cryptos but they also want their fair share and soon they'll be collecting it.

If crypto users are unstoppable then what happen to China? If the government will outlawed crypto transactions like China did then what will happen to ordinary citizen crypto users and how can they break the law?
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion in our society on: November 06, 2021, 01:37:51 PM
I live in a Christian Country where people believe in God, goes to church ang always pray but crime rate is still high. Why? I think because of the extensive poverty that some people resort to robbery and killings plus  the alcohol and drug related crimes. I have seen the priest and pastors doing their duties and responsibilities teaching  the Gospel, visiting the prison and doing bible studies and all other missionary works but still humans have freewill and judgement. While I think religion can help creating ethical framework and a regulator for values in a day to day life but it is still enough to fight or reduce crimes and violence.

Everything in life, wether good or bad, is just temporary. Don't get attached and just go with the flow, enjoy the life you have given. We should also be mindful that we are only here on earth briefly and this life should be live in God's Glory.

Hahaha i find this funny but that is okay, even though OP is not active and not very interested on this but I think many newbies and me are still interested to read these golden advices from seniors and the shared links even though I notice that someone always share these links in every thread started by newbies. It seems he only copy and paste but still is helpful.

Yes, the effects of inflation that badly affected our finances, forces us to cut out luxuries and tighten our belt to keep up with the rising cost of living. So we must be smart on spending and focus only on the needs not on wants or desires, but if it can still fit your budget then why not? However, buying things impulsively can lead to many buying mistakes, chances are you are paying too much for it since you did not take the time to shop around for better deals. There are many things to consider before purchasing something like Does this item have a purpose? Do I really need it? How long will it last? Is there a better option than buying this? Things like these need much time to think about, for example like buying a car, it is not an asset but more of a liability and car has a depreciating value. Why not opt for a public transport you can save up to four times the money you use commuting in your private or personal car. Live a comfortable life not a wasteful one, do not spend to impress others, focus on what you actually needs.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 02, 2021, 11:41:36 AM
I wish it is this simple. From where I'm living, an ordinary person wishes to buy a house as early as possible, but ends up buying one only after retirement at 60 years old or above. My parents must have wished to buy a house as well. Today, they're both old and separated. They were never able to build one for the family. It is very common for an ordinary person or family in my country to wish to have a car one day. To the majority of them, that wish will remain so until the day they die.
I felt emotional after reading your post, life is hard specially in poor countries and now when the  pandemic hit makes life far worse for the poor. Economic crisis, job loss and unemployment stress many families are struggling to put food on the table how much more on buying a house and car?. Though life is tough, but it is not a hindrance to live a comfortable life. The best things in life are free, they come in the form of good health, family, love, friendship, simple pleasures, we should focus on improving the quality of our life not on just acquiring material wealth.

20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid-19 Vaccine side effects on: November 02, 2021, 09:15:46 AM
Just last week I received my first dose of Pfizer-Biontech vaccine and luckily I did not feel any side effects. I even bought a pack of paracetamol just in case I might feel feverish or headache but nothing only a very mild pain on the injection site in my arm and after a day it was gone.  I hope with my second dose it will be the same. Before I got my jab, I asked some of my friends how they feel after they received their first and second shot just to prepare myself and they said that  they experience chills, fever, headache, drowsiness, muscle pain and always hungry.
