1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Middleware | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: July 24, 2022, 06:05:03 PM
There are many aspects of decentralized storage that need to be addressed at the moment. NFTs are coming in but there is nothing like decentralized storage which can accommodate such massive things. I dont consider FileCoin a decentralized as its very much controlled by few entities.

As long as there is no team info and no info about whether the company is registered somewhere or not i don't think they will attract much business. To gather more business there is a need to get in contact with people which sadly this team is not doing.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: June 13, 2022, 06:23:19 PM
The PoC was welcomed by everyone in the crypto market in the start and it was expected that this will break monopoly of PoW but PoS is another algorithm that broke the expectations of PoC. Still Mass is doing a good job with PoC.

Is there any MVP related to this project where we can see what you are trying to build. These days no one has the time to read lengthy whitepapers. If you have any MVP that will save the time to understand the project.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Middleware | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: May 19, 2022, 05:40:33 PM
The existing main decentralized storage solutions like filecoin only provide storage module. AFAIK, CATA is not limited to a specific storage module (e.g.file system or database). The idea is to develop a big decentralized data system that provide flexible, scalable and practical data management services for upper layer.

Apart from decentralized storage system, CATA also has huge support for NFTs and support flow blockchain. flow is very much popular these days because of its NFTs support.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Middleware | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: March 17, 2022, 05:55:57 PM
Flow blockchain has gone down drastically in its value from 38 dollars in Apr-May 2021 to 5$ right now. I am very much sure NFTs popularity are coming down and they are no more as popular as they are in 2021 and this in turn is alarmingly for projects like CATA who are dead silent.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: February 13, 2022, 04:45:58 PM

this is proof that the coin has very good prospects, where before experiencing a decline like now BOOM has provided a lot of benefits for its holders, but I'm not saying BOOM grew because of hype, the increase was purely due to the technology adopted from this project, even though BOOM is currently experiencing a very deep decline but I am very optimistic that this coin will increase as the crypto market improves.

What technology adopted by BOOM that has increased it price? What makes you think this coin will go up? Your assumptions are based on speculations or you have some evidence of this.

since everyone is getting crazy for NFTs, Defi and Metavers its great that you have incorporated everything in one single platform. You must launch an MVP before your actual product roll out that will help investors understanding the platform.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: January 29, 2022, 08:06:18 PM
I don't know why this coin has market cap of 80k on daily basis. Its price is continuously going down but still there is a community that is continuously investing in this coin. We cant say this coin is dead yet since this is a lot of activity.

The answer to your question lies in your own script. Since the coin is having a decent volume on daily basis that means it has a community backing it. Deflationary projects are created to burn the token and reduce the supply. Decent volume means there is adequate token burning on daily basis which will decrease the supply.

One thing BOOM or other deflationary token may introduce in there ecosystem to increase investment is to increase the token burning rate. By doing so token supply will go down quickly and we will check behavior of this token.

BOOM and other deflationary coins are very new to crypto market and that's why they are getting more and more attention. Its trend of crypto market that whatever new comes in the crypto market, its welcomed by all and with time people lose interest. Wait for few months before we can come up with some real verdict about deflationary coins.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: October 07, 2021, 06:07:31 PM
There really is no secret method out there. Sure there are some very small alt coins which you can mine however there is no guarantee that they will do an 100x. And the daily profitability of those coins is slightly less than mining ETH directly.

If some new coin and algo comes out then as soon as it’s listed on one of those “ whattomine” website and it shows as slightly profitable than ETH you will see the difficulty sky rocket because everybody wants a piece of the more profitable pie.

Mining is extremely difficult these days. More difficult than in any of the previous cycles.

Mining gets extremely difficult once a coin is listed on exchnage (more miners jump in and complexity goes up) but its fine to mine a coin before its listed on any exchnage. So try to hunt coins that can go up in future and mine them.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: September 23, 2021, 05:22:57 AM
There are still many profitable ways of doing mining. If you don't have much money then don't mine BTC, ETh etc. Just look around and see what coins (not shit coins) are there that can be mined on your devices. there are many listed on this thread.

If you are referring to MASS then its better right now to buy this coin rather then mining it now, you will get more profit. If you are new to mining then do MASS mining in order to get understanding of what mining in reality is. There are curtains for people who wanna do BTC, ETH mining but dont have much money.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: September 23, 2021, 05:20:17 AM

~~~
No pain, no gain. If you wanna play safe then crypto is not for you. right time to invest in any coin is when its in its initial stages and not much is known about the project. You have to dig deep at that moment, once its listed on exchnage then its price is rocketed.
If you see price of BOOM its continuously going down since it bull run in which BOOM went up 400% in one single day. It may go up again but not very soon. So anyone buying it now must keep this in mind that he has to HODL that for long time.
As I said if you wanna play safe then crypto is not for you. In crypto there is nothing certain you have to take risk to get huge profits. Price of BOOM is too low and not much risk is involved right now. So this is the time to buy it. If you wait you will miss the opportunity.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: September 21, 2021, 05:55:03 PM
There is no doubt stats of MASS (as depicted on CMC) are outstanding, in terms of price, volume and market capital. Apart from MXC, I also find it on hotbit.io .
The only thing I am interested to know right now is how much MASS I can earn if I spare my 10TB HDD along with dedicated computer and internet connection for mining. I tried to find calculator but couldn't find it on this thread nor on there site. If someone can share details about that it will be helpful for me.
You can find the answer on there telegram group as there are many active miners and admin available there. I have my query resolved there and I can say its not too late. You can still mine it profitably.
Join @massnetorg
But we have joined this platform and we need answer here. MASS bitcointalk community must answer this. TG is another platform.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: September 21, 2021, 05:48:32 PM
BOOM is booming and its evident from its price chart of last 6 months. In crypto there is nothing predictable, if a coin has good dev team and its having decent volume then it can see moon shot very often.
Although there is no hard and fast rule that says that since deflationary coin has performed good in the past, it will continue to do same in future. Many coins came up because of artificial pumping and are dumped soon after that. We need to be very careful about such coins, exit when you got profit is best strategy for such coins. Dont sit in for long.
Even if this coin is booming we need to remain well aware of such coins. As they can go down at any time and whole investment can go down instantly. So investment should be done with huge care.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: September 19, 2021, 05:57:40 PM
Distributed Storage and Retrieval: as a fundamental capability of decentralized storage, data should be persistently stored on the network and ensure permanent availability. In addition, the CATA protocol guarantees high storage performance, supports reading and writing large amounts of data, and achieves practical cost. Compared to cold storage, CATA puts more design energy on retrieval and supports content-based flexible queries (instead of just file download) to meet fine-grained data organization requirements (e.g., NFT classification retrieval).
Well that's something interesting. As blockchain student I am well aware that NFT based projects need huge data storage and quick retrieval of data is a big plus. But can you give comparison of how fast CATA retrieval is when compared with traditional blockchains?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: August 31, 2021, 03:51:48 PM
The concept of boom is clear i.e. burn token with each transaction and reduce supply this way. Soon there will be reduction in circulating supply of coins and chances are price will go up. I think they can better do this project if they do add some use case with it.
In general it's very good, but if the fans for Boom don't increase, then the burning will have no effect at all, so the addition of these fans also needs to be thoroughly analyzed because if there are more fans, the volume will also increase.
If you see price chart of BOOM for last six months, its clear that BOOM is no more a sleeping coin but an active coin. Its price is gradually increasing. Its still good to buy BOOM in my opinion, since the price is very low and chances of this coin going up are very active.
