Everyone wants more money because more moneys means you have a greater life for yourself and your family. This isn’t to say that money will make you happy. But the general consensus is that money will in fact make it easier for you in life compared to having less money.

Those that are addicted to money and take risks with it are different. Many go and gamble their money because they are greedy and want more. There are many that take high leverage futures trades because they are greedy instead of just investing in spot. Or they don’t take profit from some alt coin that doubled in value because they think it might 10x. And it’s the greed which turns to fear.

Right now it’s not uncertain times, we are still in a bull market. Blackrock etf is still adding bitcoins to their portfolios for clients who buy the etf.

Uncertain times are more like 2015 or 2019 where we weren’t sure if crypto was dead or not. Price went nowhere. People just withdrew their crypto because market was not going anywhere.

Those are not the same times as now.

Physical casinos in general don’t like gamblers that win money. They don’t care if some tourist in Vegas wins 3-4 figures but if you are a regular which keeps winning 4-5 figures every visit, they will suspect you are cheating and ban you from the casino.

Go on YouTube and search for “gamblers beating Vegas” and you will see some that won in the past and got banned or they are gambling right now and get banned from every casino because they are profitable.

In a recession, luxury items that you listed still go down in value. People lost their businesses and many of those possessions like Ferraris are all on credit and they are the first to go when money is tight.

I watched a documentary how someone spent like $20K on some wheels and tires for a Lamborghini. The car was worth more than that and later they defaulted on the loan and the car barely fetched enough money to even cover the price of those wheels and tires. Nobody had money back then and no credit.

So luxury items were still affected.

DeFi is already a success, I am not sure about the latter you are asking about however.

DeFi is important because it prevents customer funds from getting lost like it happened with various exchanges throughout the years such as MtGox, FTX, etc. With DeFI you pretty much self custody your crypto and you can exchange it whenever you want without having to rely on a CEX.

Look at the Defi volume on Coinmarketcap or other various websites, you can see that it grows every year. There are many traders now who only use CEX for fiat on and fiat off ramp and they do all their trading on DEXs.

I have an old Rollbit account that I wanted to access however I am wondering if people are getting issues with the site.

When I load it in Chrome, it opens up, I can see the website load because its blurry and there is loading in yellow shown, a few seconds after the website reloads and again, the website loads in the background, its blurry and the loading wheel appears and it does this over and over again. It worked in the paste but I can't get it to load. This is on a regular PC and not on mobile. Any solutions?

What do you mean by house edge working in reverse mode? Sure when a player doesn't lose the casino loses but you need to realise that casinos whether in crypto or physical casinos in Vegas, they rely on thousands of bets and gamblers. There will be a few here and there which will make the casino lose money but with a huge house edge of 2% it means the casinos will for sure to profitable long term.

The answer the OP question. Why do some sites have higher house edge than others? Well a new casino needs to spend more capital to keep running compared to a older and larger casino, hence they need to charge more house edge to stay in business. This is similar to how many new businesses aren't profitable for the first few years because most of their gains are offset by their expenses. Hence some businesses charge more if they can of course, just like the casino that was mentioned by the OP.

That term generally applies to stocks and last time I checked it’s 50/50 whether it’s correct or not.

One thing that is true is that there is less growth because many people just go on vacation instead of trading. There is less liquidity and less movement and what happens is that stocks usually just trade sideways like bitcoin does in August like in your graph.

August was always a horrible month for crypto and bad for stocks. Barely anyone is trading because most of those professionals take that month to go on vacation.

As far as I know it’s next to impossible to get a crypto loan without collateral. There are some people on bitcointalk which gives loans but you need collateral like some alt coin or the password to your bitcointalk account, etc.

Traditional banking is different. Banks give uncollaterlized loans because they see your credit profile. If they see you always pay your debt on time, they feel comfortable loaning you money.

If they check your credit and see a bunch of bankruptcies and delinquencies then you won’t get an uncollaterlized loans even at the bank.

Yeah this happens on pretty much every blockchain. Even the L2 networks for ETH.

I remember the first time it happened I freaked out, because it showed that someone actually sent some transaction from my cold storage address, it didnt make any sense and I assumed my seed was in jeopardy. However after making a thread on Bitcointalk it was revealed that its an ETH bug where its possible to send transactions with 0 ETH and its main goal is an address poisoning attack, these days most of these are filtered on etherscan so you wont notice. But if you don't use an address book and copy and paste your recent transactions, then you are at risk.

I dont know which large caps will be the winner for 2024 but it seems that Solana meme coins are topping the list in providing 1000x gains. Everyday if you are early there is lots of profits to be made. In the last 2 days you could of made good money buying some fake GME token on Solana.

When there is some news event like Trump vs Biden, there is always some useless meme token which is pumping. However keep in mind this is very difficult to execute and actually make a profit .Every single meme coin I bought into was a rug. Just dont have the experience like most of the seasoned meme coin traders on Solana.

Well I am not surprised. This year we had the ETF approval and halving and both theories were proved to be incorrect.

1) ETF approval - everyone expected it to be a sell the news type of event. Because that is what happened when the Bitcoin futures launched, coinbase IPO and Bitcoin futures etf. We dumped after the approval but we hit ATH anyways. Who would of known?

2) Halving - everyone expected it to rally after the halving. However its becoming stale and trading sideways. Its still early however after the halving and we can still go on a crazy bull run but it seems people are losing interest already and going back to trading GME on the stock market.

Getting paid in crypto doesnt really matter. There are tons of signature promoters on bitcointalk which get paid in cryptocurrency. The issue lies more what you do with it after you receive your pay check.

Most people will just send to an exchange and sell it to a stablecoin or fiat and withdraw to their bank account. There are a few that hold the cryptocurrency for a while but those obviously are people who have some other income stream and dont depend on the paycheck to pay their bills. Since you can't really use bitcoin to pay your mortgage, car payment, grocery bill, etc.

I don’t think it will ever reach that $500 high it did in 2017. And like you said, all these exchanges are affecting its performance because it’s one of the only coins which has done poorly while BTC reached new highs.

With all the regulations going on, I am not surprised. The more exchanges that delist then it doesn’t look good for it’s future. On the charts it looks like it might retest the $100 area and hopefully it holds when it reaches that area.

I haven’t had luck with any meme coins on the Solana network. I end up purchasing mostly tokens which get rugged almost immediately or in a few hours.

The tokens which pump the most are usually with current events. For example today GME stock doubled in value and because of that the GME meme token almost pumped like 1000% or so. So if you are early you can make some money but it just isn’t for me.

Fees have been low recently. They spiked very high for a couple of days after the halving set in because of Runes protocol but have calmed down.

Provide more info on what wallet you are using. The way it fetched the fee was incorrect or maybe you are using some exchange which over charges on the fees.
