6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoind vs Bitcoin-cli Command Line Functions on: August 20, 2014, 03:12:03 AM
I found it here under the Wallet options subheading:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin

Would this work on the command line as "bitcoin-qt -rescan"?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoind vs Bitcoin-cli Command Line Functions on: August 19, 2014, 05:01:59 PM
Sounds like a rescan takes about thirty minutes.

So from the command line on bitcoin-cli, would I enter, "bitcoin-qt rescan" or "bitcoin-qt -rescan"?

Many thanks!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoind vs Bitcoin-cli Command Line Functions on: August 19, 2014, 12:19:37 AM
What is the difference when using the command line functions between bitcoind and bitcoin-cli?

Do all the commands work on bitcoin-cli?

I would like to rescan the blockchain for any missing wallet transactions.  Can I use bitcoin-cli or should I use bitcoind?

Fidelity's move is no surprise. Bitcoin is still a persona non grata to the US investment and banking institutions.

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is CampBX a ripoff? on: May 17, 2013, 06:44:24 PM
Has anyone been having issues moving money from Dwolla to CampBX?  I have repeatedly (over several days) tried to move money using Dwolla and keep getting the same error message.  CampBX is saying that I have insufficient funds in my Dwolla account or that the Dwolla API is down.  I have called Dwolla and they are sure it is neither of those things.  Still waiting to hear back from CampBX after I logged a help request 3 days ago.

Anybody else? Advice?

Dwolla API is throwing error for several accounts.  We are working with Dwolla developer Michael to resolve this.

I sent money from Dwolla yesterday and it is still not in my account.  In the interim, would it be quicker just to send money directly from Dwolla to CampBX rather than using the USD Transfer API in CampBX?

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Peter Vessenes resign as the Executive Director for Bitcoin Foundation ? on: May 03, 2013, 03:45:07 PM
I find it disturbing that the CEO of the Bitcoin Foundation files a lawsuit against another board member only two weeks before the Foundation’s much touted “Future of Payments” conference.  The lawsuit couldn’t have waited until after the conference, after Peter and Mark had an opportunity at the conference to meet for an hour or two in a last attempt to works things out?  Was Peter thinking about how this would affect the conference including the negative publicity for Bitcoin leading into the conference?
