Maybe we could compare it to the upcoming validation? well i was a bit excited on how much the increase was. Yes it's true that maybe some after time soon the mining rewards will be lessen than what we can get today.
Of course we shall see the rewards increased by how much, I was curious to find out before the tomorrow validation cycle. |

Thanks for the updates about this hard fork good to know that there's an increased of flip rewards and also a lot of improvements of the Idena. Didn't know that you'll be having a hard fork good thing I checked it and activated my miner on my vps.
I'm looking forward to the next validation and to see the increase in rewards, for us here, the validation is very important because it's additional coins and it's a guaranty that we can continue to mine, people should continue mining there will come a time when mining rewards will be lesser than what we are getting today. Increased rewards for flips are welcome, since you must put some effort to do them and do them good due to "1 flip reported = norewards at all" rule which I think is still in place. I wonder how much do they increased the rewards, perceptual. |

But I am working on a new project focused on old blockchains and with the attempt of reviving them. I wanna ask what everyone here is holding onto. Does anyone knows what "Restricting the stake withdrawal address" means? I saw is one of the hardfork features.
This means that when you kill your identity the amount of coins in stake could be sent to any address such as the address of the exchange. But as it is not a "normal" transaction these coins do not reach the exchange, now it is limited to your own address only. hmm this "feature" was implemented for some time, I know I killed my identity once and the only address I could send the coins was mine. |

I got my first mining penalty  last night. Im not even sure what happened, when I woke up I checked and my vps node was off. I checked my logs and I did not see anything to cause it. I'm going to create a cronjob to avoid this in the future. Hi buddy, to avoid this problem in the future you can add your node to the telegram bot ( @idna_node_watcher_Bot ) and it will alert you when your node is inactive for more than 15min, this way you avoid the penalty. I have a cronjob in all my nodes to restart the server every 24 hours, it has never given me problems, I hope it helps you... restart the computer at 11AM every day "0 11 * * * /sbin/shutdown -r +5" You can also use realRioda's website notifier on idena.site to avoid downtime. But it works only if you are awake and near your PC since you have under 1h to restart the node. |

POS & POW working well, Dev is setting up a test for the PoS4 prototype, dumb trolls will be graved by every new improved release  haha damn...do you know how many years they already promise a breakthrough? even if they deliver, this coin wont go anywhere as PoS is not groundbreaking and Esper coin doesnt have real use cases... why you say POS is not groundbreaking? looks like there are a lot of coins out there that are POS also some like ETH wants to move to POS from POW. |

Sorry was not much active here can some explain what was the main reason for them to do a hard fork of the network? and is everything is alright right now? When is the hard fork scheduled for?

There is no hardfork scheduled in the coming days as far as I know. Last ford was a long time ago and was to implement some features/changes into the validation (6 flips instead of 5, more words to choose from,etc). |
