1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is June a Downturn for the Crypto Market? on: June 15, 2024, 06:21:03 AM
yeah people belief too much on some random sayings and the previous year chart shows that may or june is the month of downtrend doesn't mean it will happen when overall market greet index is at high and also we are at bullish. so that is anecdotal at best.
currently there's downturn because we've reached $73k not too long ago it does make sense for market to go down a little but there are many speculators out there saying that if bitcoin somehow cross $72k it will means another big rally coming for us which you shouldn't never take it as a financial advice but quite optimistic speculation coming from people probably gonna be self fulfilling prophecy.
Most people are trying to timing the market, instead of buy and forget.

The ATH in the two previous halving reached in Q4, but this halving the ATH hit in Q1.

May in the two previous halving are in red, but this halving the market in May is green.

Now, people speculated Q3 is the best time to buy Bitcoin since the two previous halving Q2 correction happened.

What if I speculate Bitcoin will reach the peak in Q3, then Q4 and next year we will see bear season...

OP, just add him to ignore. Everyone who is not bothered by his nickname reacts calmly
Unfortunately, ignore feature doesn't hide the username.

One of these users, namely suckmycock12, is banned. As for the other users you mentioned, there is nothing to ban them for, they don't have any posts written. And for a nickname on the forum do not ban, no matter what it is. The only exception might be imposters.
You're correct, I thought "archived" means inactive, but actually it's an another name of being banned. The user posted fake GMiner's download links, probably the moderator nuked him for doing that.

The Blues are currently serious about establishing a good club to challenge with Arsenal and Manchester City for the title next season. Im hoping chelsea will be as competitive as when the club was under abramovich.
When will Chelsea broke? they always spend a good sum of money in every season. There's a rumor Chelsea avoid breaking FFP rules, they shouldn't too greedy to signing new players because they could received point reduction in the next season.

Olise only perform for one season and Duran hadn't prove anything, Chelsea need to think twice, but I'm happy to see they want to extend Gallagher's contract, he's really a good player. Chelsea should sell their players first and then sign new defenders.

Although it was their money and they worked hard, that's why they didn't appreciate and didn't use the money they earned correctly. It is necessary in this era that we also be really wise in using our money as much as possible to produce as much profit as possible.
Why you can judge them didn't use the money correctly? what's do's and don'ts in spending? there are no rules.

Not everyone want to have assets that can produce income, some people can feel enough with the money they earned.

But the things is , in this age, people love instant gratification , so its really hard to thing about tomorrow .  Most people prefer how they feel right here and right now and not easy to tell them think about future. Most argument that I heard is  "we don't know when we die , so what's the point of saving for future ? "
Besides that, living above one's means is heavily influenced by social media. Many people love to show off and share  moments that we  know are sometimes is above our budget. But if we saw it again and again , sooner or later we will try it too right ?And after we upgrade our lifestyle, it's really hard to go back down. So i think we must minimize or atleast filter our social media
100% correct, people always say like that and after I think for many times, they're correct. If someone think it's not correct, then I would ask how long I would live? how long you will live? and how long this and that person will live, so people will know when it's end.

It doesn't mean I agree with them and it doesn't mean I'm also a high spender, on the contrary I'm actually an oversaver, but they have a point that I can't prove they're wrong.

Limit or minimize social media activity is subjective, because I'm active in social media and it doesn't affect my spending habit.

That's fine, Hitler is human name, it doesn't automatically mean to Adolf Hitler that killed the Jews. Actually there's someone named Adolf Hitler that win the local election in Namibia.

There are many clear offensive usernames in this forum, but didn't get banned.

You need to learn not everyone must follow your lifestyle because it's up to anyone choice.

There's a person who think live is short and he must try anything he can without need to think about money, so he will spend all of his money without thinking about tomorrow because he believe he can find a way to survive tomorrow.

Another person who life in balance, he spend a good amount of money for entertainment and save some for retirement.

And another ones who're an oversaver, he will spend as small as possible for his need and save as much as he can to retire earlier.

It's not surprising to see people who buy Bitcoin just because they see Bitcoin has a potential to increase more and more by looking at the chart.

But, I'm not recommend to buy Bitcoin when you didn't even understand about Bitcoin at all.

In short, Bitcoin offer many utilities like decentralized, privacy, transparent, limited supply, and secure, which make people buy Bitcoin not only due to the price. If you want to learn more, visit https://learnmeabitcoin.com/
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino/gambling center near an institution of learning? on: June 13, 2024, 02:07:09 PM
Can you elaborate? if I understood you correctly, you mean land based casino should be build in near of universities or school? what's the point? I see this is bad since it would influence students choose to gamble instead of focus to study.

If your intention is to increase underage gamblers, then your idea might work. Tongue

However, I doubt if the government will allow land based casino build in near of universities.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2024, 01:27:00 PM
Seems like a good deal. Especially at a time when the players are so expensive. Maybe Emerson Royal is not that expensive just because he is a defender. But you know Royal has good potential, and he is only 25 years old. So undoubtedly Royal will be able to give his service for a long period of time. He has also played with Tottenham. So he has an idea about how to play with and against big clubs. Even though he might not be a regular feature. The defense of AC Milan was not good in this season. They have conceded 49 goals which is a lot higher compared to the teams that have finished on the top of the table. So it is good to say that they are actually interested in improving the defense of the squad.
Emerson Royal is a failed Brazilian's player, but since he has an experience in Europa and Milan don't have big budget, Milan become interested with him. Don't forget that Serie A is a place for European's grandpa or European's failed players, except Inter who have enough funds to buy star players.

i thought this transfer will not be happend because previously between Milan and tottenham there is still no agreement on the price issue because at that time Tottenham want 20 million but Milan only dare to pay 18 million but apparently now Milan are willing to pay in accordance with the asking price set by Tottenham Hotspur so this transfer will be happened soon and if everything is run well then in the next few days Milan will be announce Emerson Royal as their first signing this summer
Tottenham shouldn't too greedy to force Milan to fulfill 20 Million Euros since Tottenham also don't want Emerson Royal too, he's rarely playing and at the same time Tottenham need to pay his salary.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 13, 2024, 12:57:51 PM
Just one day left until first match of Euro between Germany and Scotland and bookies are all over Germany in this game and so are the bettors are who shilling and betting on Germany big amounts of money so personally , I won't be surprised if this game ends up with a draw  Grin.
Yeah Scotland can't be underestimated, although German is full of star players and they have better recent result than Scotland, but Scotland was having good result during EURO qualification, they're not lose against England, Spain and Norway.

On other hand, German sometime perform bad and not like what people were expect, it's definitely possible the match will ends up in a draw.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 12, 2024, 03:02:23 PM
Dude, what do you think of Dortmund next season? They lost in the final round this season and that should make their motivation even greater to avenge their failure. They have lost twice in the final, the first time against Bayern Munich and the last time against Real Madrid. Their efforts were very good to reach the final but their luck was less fortunate when they had to face a prestigious team full of history in the Champions League.
They will end up like Inter, they were able to reach final in the last season, but they lose in round of 16. Dortmund and Inter are both of teams that very lucky can enter to final in Champions League, so don't expect anything in the next season.

Next season will be interesting since Leverkusen and Bologna are joining the race.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is June a Downturn for the Crypto Market? on: June 12, 2024, 02:18:35 PM
No one know, in the previous month, many people keep saying to dump their coins since they believe in Sell in May and go away theory, they also see a pattern that in May for every 3 years, the market is red (2015, 2018, 2021). But, this year the market prove it wrong, the market closed in green, so the past history didn't repeat.

Even market in June are mostly in green, it doesn't mean this month will green too.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents on childs savings bank accounts are waste of time if not saving on BTC on: June 12, 2024, 12:52:23 PM
Actually, most parents do invest their money instead of save it in banks.

But, they choose the safe investment that the gain can't hedge against school and medical inflation, usually a country has 4% inflation rate, but the school and medical inflation rate are around 10%-15%.

These parents choose to invest their money in time deposit (5% APY), ETFs (7% APY), gold (8%) or stock (depend on the stock). The thing is, most stock didn't bring a good amount return for long term, moreover these parents mostly choose investment that can't hedge against inflation, that's why the poor stay poor.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2024, 12:39:56 PM
Manchester United will very likely stick with Erik Ten Haag next season, https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1800662592035451155
new contract talks are still ongoing, and their focus for next season will be with their young players like Mainoo and Garnacho, and if they will focus on young players, maybe there will be an opportunity for Greenwood return to Manchester United and become the main squad there? Man United fans reportedly don't like him after the cases he experienced, but if he can perform well at Getafe, maybe he will also be able to develop well at United next season, and United will be one of the teams with quite a young squad so they could be even stronger. in the next few seasons.
I'm sure Manchester United didn't make a deal with their targeted coach, that's why they have no choice and choose to go with Ten Hag. Personally I don't think Ten Hag will survive in the next season because the team ask too much like securing top 4 positions.

Manchester United fans don't want to see Greenwood playing, at the same time I also doubt if Greenwood can play as good as right now while hearing the fans mocking him.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Bitcoin look like in the future? on: June 12, 2024, 05:47:38 AM
When it comes to centralized exchanges, their positions keep decreasing as time goes by. That's a positive thing because it means there are less coins that might get hacked and cause a big downtrend as a result. You are right that ETFs have seed huge inflows of money recently. In fact, the money coming in every day is much more than what miners can theoretically mine in the same period.
I'm not sure where you read the trend of holding in centralized exchange is keep decreasing when the value of their hot wallet keep increasing, it's opposite with what you said.

Controlled by the government? I think not, no matter what, or no matter what time it takes. Bitcoin can never be controlled by anyone, not even the government, because it is decentralised and no one can decrypt or access the source code of bitcoin unless the creator itself, but I think that over the years, Satoshi Nakamoto hasn't done anything to interfere with bitcoin, and I think it will stay that way for the future.
Until the government would be very strict with Bitcoin taxes and asked to declare all of your coins and the address you own, if you didn't declare it you will get taxed higher or treat you as a criminal, it's when the government almost have a power to control Bitcoin "indirectly".
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 11, 2024, 03:28:23 PM
If Manchester City also makes changes to their main squad, namely by recruiting new players in the back line, of course this could also make it difficult for opponents to move, especially if they meet Madrid in the UCL next season. If you look at the strength of Manchester City, they are still not strong enough in their defense. So there is still a lot that needs to be changed and Guardiola should be able to see that it is also important for the back line to be given additional new strength from new players who might be better than their current back line players.
Manchester City don't have to do many things, they only need to change the goalkeeper, that's all. All of Manchester City's defenders are strong, their problem might be find replacements for veteran player like Walker, but the quality doesn't have any problem.

Brazil didn't even include Ederson Moraes for Copa America, Pep should be aware with this because if Moraes is a good player, then why he didn't get selected? Dorival Junior choose Alisson and two goalkeepers who play on Brazil league over him.
17  Other / Meta / Re: Why are mod not locking long threads on the gambling board discussion anymore on: June 11, 2024, 02:13:11 PM
And why it's only on gambling board? Huh this should be done on every board without exception.

Spam is spam, other boards are also full of repetitive posts, see Economics (mostly talk about getting rich, money management and self motivation), Bitcoin Discussion (mostly talk about praising Bitcoin), Beginners & Help (mostly newbie ask for guide), Speculation (most people throwing their random number without any reason).
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Bitcoin look like in the future? on: June 11, 2024, 02:03:22 PM
I speculate almost all Bitcoin will be controlled by government, this is because most holders choose to hold in centralized exchanges or trusting their money to land based company (ETFs). Any coins that hand in centralized exchanges and ETFs companies can cooperate with the government, the government can confiscate the coins just like Executive Order 6102 where the government force people to send their gold.

Currently Bitcoin has been regulated, the government make the regulations tighter and tighter every year.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a legal jurisdiction backing up gamblers against the casino oppression? on: June 10, 2024, 03:11:23 PM
In most cases, you will not find any jurisdiction that backing up gamblers against scam casinos because the casinos aren't even regulated at all. They only regulated in small country that didn't have strict laws i.e. they obtain it in order to make their casino looks regulated in front of gamblers.

For example the recent case against Freebitco.in, why the victim didn't report to the court?
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino companies' responsibilities to rehabilitation institutions on: June 10, 2024, 01:49:09 PM
Any company that the operations can harm social or environmental aspect will try to avoid or at least spend as low as possible for the CSR. Rehabilitation institution is a big thing, there's no any casino will want it except their casino is already very popular like land based casino in Las Vegas or online casino like Bet 365.

Running a rehabilitation institution require capital, maintenance cost and management control that need to be operated everyday, they will choose to create one time seminar about gambling addiction.
