1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can BRICS topple US' economic power? on: June 24, 2024, 06:09:48 PM
It would give tough days for USD but i dont think BRICS creating currency and competing with US will be as easy as it looks and we shouldn't forget there are nations like India and China which have already fought wars and also we have seen so many skirmishes in the past. I don't think they will ever get along and eventually BRICS will die down just like Sovie.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins ruining crypto? on: June 23, 2024, 11:03:43 AM
It's not ruining crypto but it's ruining life of so many I mean if you open the DEX screener and see the memecoins listed in solana chain just by looking at it's name you can say it's scam still stupid people invests into it just because someone became millionaire as most of the projects are rug pulled still people just wants to buy and sell it at the temporary pump which it creates. I would rather say people have become more stupid running behind easy money and they are ending up losing what they havebin their coffee
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin is becoming a center-stage issue in US elections on: June 21, 2024, 08:32:33 PM
We know Trump is just using this to get more votes from Bitcoin communities wherein both Biden and Trump are going to oppose it once their mission is accomplished but meanwhile it would benefit the Bitcoin as it's giving more mainstream time to Bitcoin and it's getting the due importance which it deserved from long time. I think Bitcoin will be the ultimate winner in this battle between these two.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's Hold Strong, Not Hope for a Drop! on: June 21, 2024, 07:27:18 PM
No one in right sense of mind would want the assets which they are holding to fall so that they can buy back, it would be foolishness to wait expecting Bitcoin to fall below or in the tang of $20k and rather amass more than DCA during these dips instead of regretting later.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will ecommerce websites start accepting Bitcoin as payment soon? on: June 15, 2024, 07:10:42 PM
There are handful of them already accepting Bitcoin as payments method but we are awaiting for any eCommerce giant like Amazon to accept Bitcoin as payments method which will create more buzz in the market and push more people to use Bitcoin. But, why would the buyer pay huge transactions just to make a simple purchase? Bitcoin needs a permanent fix for this issue.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Saudi Arabia ends 80-year petrodollar deal with US. on: June 15, 2024, 06:31:36 PM
USA needs to review its foreign policies and check where they are going wrong with their allies because Saudi was a closest ally of USA, it other countries starts following the same this will have huge impact of dollars value. China and Russia are isolated is what we are taught to believe but things are going in opposite direction and the sooner they realise and fix the problem out would5 be better.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Channel For Newbie Airdrop Alert on: June 15, 2024, 06:26:52 PM
Your telegram channel is not serving it's purpose as referrals are prioritised over the airdrop alerts which is a big red flag. If you are really interested in growing your channel and help others then get to the point instead of these referal links. There are some sites which does provides these details but still there are lot of scope to grow your channels of these domains.
8  Local / India / Re: Stay Away from F2F trades if you are from Delhi or nearby! on: June 15, 2024, 06:13:24 PM
What do P2P traders do? How will they make profit when their profit margin is lesser than tax implied, why would trader want to lose out money ? These are the affect of tax and I don't think ED can even control this as this practice is spread across. I think they can fix this only through removing the draconian tax which has pushed people to take such steps.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Countries don't work with their own problems its bad on: June 14, 2024, 10:20:28 PM
That's just one point of view which you have explained as USA doesn't get involved in foreign affairs just like that wherever it steps it creates message out of that place and converts it into ghetto or unliveable wherein the people of those nations flees to Europe and even USA for better life. USA wants share of profit in everything happening in the world and always have habit of poking it's nose into everything. It should have learn about how vulnerable they are when it comes to managing pandemic during COVID-19 but it won't work on those area to strengthen them rather just behind oil, gold and diamonds.

Involving in foreign matter and destroying any other country is different. USA does the later one because it's too insecure.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im in cryptocurrency 6 months only but i will not risk like other newbies on: June 14, 2024, 09:02:50 PM
No one can be expert in this trading domain because everyone will have different strategy which may not work for everyone hence you can continue doing whatever suits you because only when we plan our our strategies we will be able to figure out which one works for us. Don't get distracted if you are able to make profit from this strategy then continue it even if the profit is lesser because once it starts compounding you will be amazed to see the numbers.
11  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Charges against Binance executives dropped by the Federal Government of Nigeria. on: June 14, 2024, 08:35:34 PM
Either they got their share or someone at a very high level in the government was about to be exposed hence they have sorted it out. What else can we expect from Nigerian government? Nothing good comes out of them but atleast they shouldn't try to destroy what is giving some additional income to their unfortunate citizens. It's really painful to even imagine what a Nigerian common man goes through in their daily life.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some bad uses of bitcoin. :'( on: June 14, 2024, 08:15:57 PM
I will not get to th technicality of Bitcoin, While I do agree that Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities but this has been happening before the invention of Bitcoin and still it happens largely through Fiat not through Bitcoin as Fiat don't leave any traces as it's not captured anywhere hence I don't think it's fair to stigmatize Bitcoin with illegal activities.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 14, 2024, 07:49:06 PM
In my country it's same as globally wherein the price of all the basic stuffs like LPG, petrol, raw produce has increased and on top of that companies has started this new method of denying the employees their salary hike by saying they are not firing anyone rather they skip yearly salary hike and to squeeze it further the shitty government has introduced so many taxes which makes it really difficult for a common person to survive.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pepe in a Memes World on: June 14, 2024, 06:30:46 PM
I have heard about this pepe project from some of my friends that made some profits from the Project few weeks ago and, I feel like investing in this pepe project soon, because it look like what will display high before the end of december.

I don't use to put plenty money on memecoin projects because they can disappear from the market anytime to make their customers to feel bad about their decisions to put their money on such project in the market.

Aft this week, I will try to invest little on pepe project and hodl for the price to pump higher before I will trade, because I want to  add altcoin to my hodling, so that i will not be depending on only BTC.

Think twice before investing into memecoins because once it's dumped hard it doesn't have any valid reasons to bounce back as it's purely due to the community's buying power which sends the price sky high and once they cashout unless any whales wants to pump and dump it the project themselves don't stand a chance to recover on its own.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Accepting Crypto Salaries Worth It? on: June 14, 2024, 06:07:44 PM
I remember responding to similar topic in the past but regardless I would say it depends on individual I wouldn't prefer my entire salary in Bitcoin or crypto due to volatility but I would prefer 60% in Fiat and 40% in crypto.  It makes sense not to have everything in crypto because just one market correction or dump we will be in soup with reduced balance or either way around its either payer or receiver who will have deficit and looking at the transfer charges it wouldn't be considered as salary payment when payer has to borne the transfer fees which is huge.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breakout Alert! 🚀 on: June 14, 2024, 05:25:58 PM
This is the time of the year when Bitcoin's price may not follow the strategy or pattern as there are whales trying to pull it down by going against the tide as they would try to accumulate more before the actual bull run because by now Bitcoin should have crossed $73k but it has faced rejection multiple times. I think we just need to keep accumulating through DCA.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the best coin in 2024? on: June 14, 2024, 05:11:14 PM
BNB is returning to its old highs. Since the beginning of the year, the coin has grown quite well. Given the globality of Binance, perhaps BNB will take new heights.
BNB is one of the coins in the list of coins that I hold from bear to bull, which I do repeatedly and often for short term trades such as in a matter of weeks I make one buy and sell transaction or depending on market movements too. what is best according to other people is not necessarily the best for me, so my version of the best project is the coin that gives the biggest profit from several coins that I hold

BNB has done wonders for me as well because I bought this coin when it was worth under $10 and also I have witnessed whenever there are projects on launchpad the price of BNB spikes as people stake BNB which creates demand for it thus triggering the price. But, there was a phase when it was struggling at $300 but it eventually recovered. I think centralized exchanges tokens will always have value untill the exchange is in existence.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This money-making plan might catch your interest. on: June 13, 2024, 07:08:57 PM
Not terming this as scam but there are so many scams that it's difficult even to bifurcate between scam and real ones as I have literally made up my mind that anything which is offered for free cannot be true as why would someone pay you without much effort? I think we need to stop buying such lies and try to create more awareness. Moreover if it's a genuine one then word of mouth will do the job of marketing.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My deep regret and pain in crypto. on: June 13, 2024, 07:03:13 PM
there are many crypto users who have had similar experiences where they invested in shitcoin and expected that it would be worth more than bitcoin.  but instead of it being as valuable as bitcoin, it has dropped drastically and has no value.  therefore, with this experience, it is important for crypto users to be able to trust bitcoin and need to be careful when investing in altcoins, because no one can be sure what the future of these altcoins will be, but with bitcoin you can at least be sure that it will continue  adopted by more people.

In a way it's our greed which pushes us to invest into Altcoins and shitcoins as well in the greed of having higher returns but thinos turns out to be different and trust me people may laugh at me but I lost almost $3k in Shibinu and the next week its value tripled so we need to be really careful while investing in Altcoins compared to Bitcoin since the volatility is much higher in Altcoins. But, what matters the most is that we need to consider it as a learning curve and shouldn't repeat the same mistake again.
20  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: crypto vs content creation, which is more profitable? on: June 13, 2024, 06:37:53 PM
Most of us would choose content creation because it will give us recurring income and at the same time won't be as stressful as trading because in content creation you don't risk your money hence people would prefer but if we sit back and look at the returns which we would have got with minimal investment and cashing out at the right time in crypto people would go for crypto instead of content creation but most of us don't have patience which is the key hence people fail in crypto.
