1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most reliable way of earning Bitcoin on: July 06, 2024, 07:41:55 AM
Bitcoin seen to be one of the most reliable means of financial freedom especially to those that were not able to get a sustainable employment but as we all know, nothing good comes so easy, there is always a specific task and price to pay before getting a sustainable means of financial freedom.
I'm a newbie in Bitcoin and I'm passionate to develop myself professionally in the system and to acquire a reasonable Bitcoin that I can rely on for enconomic development but the major challenge I have now is how to go about it and the possibility of breakthrough in the system, so on that note, I sincerely wish to learn to enable me get the prerequisite knowledge for the possibility of acquiring Bitcoin with little or no capital.

The most reliable way of earning Bitcoin is by mining Bitcoin, there is nothing that will stop you from getting Bitcoin every day, it is you and the Network, no third party involved, right inside your home or garage.

Every other ways of earning Bitcoin has a bad side, promotions, faucets, and others, they have a dead end, even your job, you can wake up one day and you get a sack letter, something you aren't prepared for, faucets can end anytime if they can't keep up, promotions and jobs online can end anytime too.

Before you say anything about Bitcoin mining profitability, its incomparable. DYOR, Bitcoin is a appreciating asset, others on the list aren't.

Do you know what the disbelief phase looks like? Do your own research on this first, many people always feel disappointed about Bitcoin price action after every BTC halving, we are in another round right now I believe.

Tapping your screen isn't real mining, using a specific hardware to mine coins or Bitcoin is the real definition of mining, what you are doing now is claiming some tokens by tapping your screen, to me its like cloud mining, its not using any hardware resources, like your phone CPU or GPU, so it is not qualified to be called a crypto mining.

Buckle up though, the real pain is still likely to happen, where Bitcoin could still go down more, and many investors will get pissed, many will walk away soon, it has always been this way.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you prepared for the $5 wrench attack ? (1000 ETH stolen) on: June 19, 2024, 07:44:26 PM
Being your own bank has it's downsides, one of which is physical attack.

Are you prepared for such event ?

They knew you have crypto and also know where you live, you messed up bro, there are many people like him in the world today and this man just happen to be in the mist of bad surroundings, there are people who will spend days talking about crypto in the public and nothing will happen to them but if you copy their moves you could be a victim like this person.

Not all surroundings will be the same, some are safer where no one cares about what you have and how you acquire your wealth but some surroundings are filled up with sharks, waiting for a proof to be assured that you have something they can forcefully take from you.

The best thing to do is avoid the public, do not discuss about crypto and your bags in the public, many people are human beings in the day and Vampires in the night.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin layer2 will come ? on: June 19, 2024, 06:38:04 PM
They are here already and many of them sucks, if this is your thing make sure you stick with the most popular ones.

To me, they are Lightning Network and Stack.

But right now we have so many, which open doors to rugpull working in progress, many of them will do their devilish thing after the final Bitcoin pump.

7  Bitcoin / Wallet software / (Advice Needed) Running A node and getting paid into your Hardware wallet on: June 10, 2024, 09:47:30 AM
First the first time in a long time, I was stuck in a decision making with my hot wallet and hardware wallet.

This days we all know that running a node to earn passive income is becoming a thing, while majority of the nodes are profitable for the early buyers, I decide to take this risk after seeing a pal of mine making good amount of money running few nodes.

I decide to buy a node, and I was left with an option to connect wallet to start receiving the node payouts, since this payout can keep going on for years I doubt that my hot wallet can always be with me in few more years since they are more likely to get compromised.

My brain went straight to my hardware wallet, I trust it more than my hot wallet, but here is the thing, I don't want to connect my hardware wallet to pay for the Node and start receiving the payment.

Is this the right calling? Because I always know that not interacting with any platform using your hardware wallet is a good safety practice.

How will you go about this if you are in my shoe right now?

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of this Facebook Scam! on: June 03, 2024, 06:32:58 AM
Like seriously, are you saying this ends with Facebook only? Because your warning advice should point at every social media platforms in the world today, no one is save from scammers trying so hard to scam someone.

I always expect so less from strangers as a person, if you PM me first I always have this weird feeling why you decide to contact, most of the time it is not always a good thing, people even family members will take advantage of you this days, its so sad.

You should get used to shunning strangers off your space, because they don't always have your good intent in mind, they are there to use you, or even rob you your hard earned money, since I've been in this crypto space, no stranger have ever helped me, the few that did are friends on this forum.

Impersonation of project teams and social mangers are very common online, be on the look out, every first PM is 90% likely a scam attempt.

Even if your keyboard is spying on you this will prevent it from happening.
If your keyboard is spying on you, you should not use the device.

You have no idea, what's not spying on you on smartphones this days? Even the official OS that comes with your phone is watching, if your keyboard is storing up your words you won't know mate, its just a precaution advice.

Extra security precaution is not bad at all, if you are with me on this one then let's go.

For all hot wallet users, this advice is a plus and if you carefully think about it you will see how helpful this can be..

We are used to importing Recovery seeds typing typing the words using the keyboard on our phones but how about using the screen to fill the complete words instead?

Even if your keyboard is spying on you this will prevent it from happening.

As you can see from the image, you don't need to type out Guard or Guitar, all you need to type using your keyboard is the first and second alphabet, select the rest using the wallet words guesses to complete the words.

Your keyboard won't know the full words as many words start with the letter G and U, and also other words.

Make this an habit.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If this is doable what will you add or remove? on: May 21, 2024, 12:10:21 PM
Let's all pretend to be a developer for today, and I have a question for you all.

If you are to add 1 thing to Bitcoin what will it be? And also if you are to remove just one thing from Bitcoin what will it be?

20  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Venezuela bans crypto mining on: May 21, 2024, 08:23:01 AM
Venezuela of all countries lol, that isn't a country anymore, it is like a no man's land to me, where laws are useless, I wouldn't believe this news if I were you, each man for himself is what Venezuela is all about now.

Those confiscated miners will be put to good use by the ruler himself, that's a lot of extra money for them why would they dump all these miners into the bin? Hell no, there is no way it will happen, unless the miners are no more profitable.

OP, forget solar mining, if you really want to mine as a profitable miner you should stay away from solar mining, or wait for new ASIC miners to come out first, then maybe it will be good, the problem I have with solar mining is after the sunset, you can't run a single ASIC miner for hours using a battery bank, it will cost too much of money, the type you may never get back.

If you can set up graphic cards then solar mining is possible, because GPu takes less power than ASIC miner, they are also doable with battery back up, mine some coins and convert them back to Bitcoin, this is the only thing you can do, meaning you won't be mining Bitcoin directly.
