Chelsea has finally complete a deal with Leicester City in the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £30million. Seems Chelsea new manager is really taking the transfer window initiative very serious with the number of completed signings the club has completed lately with rumours of others under the tunnel.

For the record this is one fabulous signing for Chelsea so far, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is an outstanding left footed midfielder with admirable performance in the previous season at Leicester scoring 12 goals with 14 assists.  A one time Europa Conference League team player of the  2021/22 season, and with the Blues participating in the conference league next season it makes him a more perfect signing for the blues.

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election on: July 03, 2024, 05:12:31 PM
I'd state it the other way round, its entirely necessary there is opposition to a candidate to ensure the best person is chosen for the job.  To blindly go with Biden because he has the numbers already would be a weakness to do so, it also makes the Republican victory more likely at that point.  Untested strength is a vulnerability seems a fair conclusion imo, the process is this way for a reason and part of it is discovery via discussion and votes shifting along the way.  Biden himself was not great in the polls originally, I didn't think he'd end up running personally.
So what do you expect from Trump if he does win the election? Will he really change his attitude towards crypto? I don't think that will be the case. On the contrary, he will say that this is a surrogate analogue of money and will begin to put pressure on this direction. Personally, I have the same thoughts on this matter. I stopped believing the words of politicians. They talk and lie too much. They do everything just to get the post.

It's all a matter of narrative, if the narrative is in favor of bitcoin, trump and biden will be... It's all a political maneuver to try to capture as many voters as possible. Never believe politicians, they play politics, politicking is falsehood in favor of private interests.
It's a common sense that politicians shouldn't be trusted by their words especially when they are running for a position they will stop at nothing in promising and showing support on issues and matters that could drive an increase of polls in their side. But if we are to choose between Joe Biden and Donald Trump as only option who do we think could remember to deliver on their promises when eventually got elected. And also going by their past activities and policy action towards cryptocurrency as a criteria it should be easy for voter's to know where their votes should be directed to, democrat or republican.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Money doesn't guarantee happiness. on: July 03, 2024, 04:25:31 PM
I  If money could guarantee someone peace of mind, then the man in person would've spent half of what he's acquired to find peace but what we was going through was beyond his wealth, and he's a prove that one can have all the billions and still not get peace or happiness. I might be wrong though but what's your opinion?

https://twitter.com/NigeriaStories/status/1806079250367160676?t=J5L6ELum5DCe2TJDHeo-pw&s=19
Even if i agree with your opinion that money or wealth do not guarantee happiness I'll still want to be wealthy first then I can later deal with that part of the happiness it doesn't guarantee. Grin No amount of motivational speech should make you settle for less or comfortable being poor under the auspices of enjoying happiness.

Money bring us closer to the things, people, places and achievements in life that brings happiness to humans. It may not guarantee but it's a quintessence to be happy about life. How do you feel, if your kids come to you asking to go see a movie at the cinema on a weekend, because their classmates in school couldn't stop talking about it to them about how their own dad had planned on taking them to the cinema but, you can't afford it because there's no money?

It all depends on the position every wealthy man finds himself, for the case of the KONGA CEO after reading through his story, I discovered he lost hope and faith from everything about his marital life and family. A situation he could have been patient with for what the future can be.

1. Knowledge First:
This is foundational. If you don't have this you are liable to fall to scam. You need to learn about wallet, exchanges, dexes, and conviction and patience.
So true, these are the first steps any person interested in building investment in crypto should start with before pulling in a cent into it. It amazes me when I get in contact with some new crypto enthusiasts who can't differentiate the difference between a cold wallet and hot wallet and which is best for use in terms of high security .. To them they are wallets for cryptocurrency.

2. Spot Trading :
This is a tangible skill that differentiate you from another person. With this you know how to make money trading. But ensure you stay away from futures trading. Use spot trading to start.
I think I will still recommend at the beginning for a new trader to perfect their strategies using demo trading before going life with spot trading. Moving straight to spot trading would mean that you'll be losing while trying to perfect and understand your strategy avoiding jumping out of trade in loss due to a lack of confidence on your strategy.

3. Airdrop Farming:
This is a low risk way to make money in crypto. Learn the popular airdrop in crypto space. Currently Telegram mini app farming is what is reigning.
Am not just comfortable with airdrops due to their associated risks though people do make money from them despite their risks. To stay safe with airdrops connect with burner-wallets. Burner wallet is a wallet you don't use for other transactions or don't keep money in.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Enigma of Crypto Trading: Weighing Experience Against Historical Trends on: July 02, 2024, 06:07:34 PM
Yea, patterns repeat itself, trends never cease from repeating but the question the trader has to solve to be in profit is when does the trend has to actually repeat... Cause that's where your analysis comes in, you've to analyze to know not to take a wrong trading position because fake-outs are there to test your psychology. Simply put, market history do repeat but the challenge lies on the trader to get an accuracy of the timing either through technical or fundamental analysis of the market.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Did Satoshi Nakamoto Create Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2024, 11:13:09 AM
Bitcoin, the pioneering cryptocurrency, has transformed the financial landscape since its inception in 2009. The enigmatic figure behind this revolutionary digital currency, known as Satoshi Nakamoto, remains shrouded in mystery. Despite extensive speculation about their identity, the reasons behind Satoshi Nakamoto’s creation of Bitcoin are clearer.

https://bitcoinics.com/why-did-satoshi-nakamoto-create-bitcoin/
Great to know you have to an extent a broad background about bitcoin and what the developer Satoshi Nakamota created for. However, this aren't news at all to the bitcoin community irrespective of it's relevance.

We constantly talk about DYOR and I won't be wrong to say you should also apply that mentality in the forum with creating of posts by researching about previous topics repeated discussed in the forum in time past before your arrival especially in the B&H board. 8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ever tried out any trading competition on: July 02, 2024, 10:48:41 AM
I participated in my first trading competition back in 2021, and it was an incredible experience! It was a team competition, and I was privileged to be among a talented group of traders. Although we didn't emerge victorious, I seized the opportunity to enhance my skills and learned a great deal.

I still recall frequently revisiting the live feed on YouTube to analyze and improve my strategy. The competition had a profound impact on me, and I emerged a better trader. What are your thoughts on trading competitions? If you're aware of any upcoming competitions, I'd love to hear about them!

Believe me, I have come to know from your post for the first time that there are trading competitions and I am happy to know that there is something like that. I will participate in it
Don't be too quick to nurse an interest to participate in just a swift of knowing about it that there's something called trading competition. There are important combination of factors you've got to possess if you want to stay in profit when join a trading competition of which some others have made mentioned in the preceding comments, such as having the grand knowledge, some big capital, possessing tools that provides you with the necessary information to stay competitive up there. Except you just want to get in for the trading experiences that can be obtained otherwise you will have no advantage there with the big fishes. If you have a nice strategy that's working for you as an individual trader I'll propose you stick to it with your little profits.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: acquiring many properties in the name of owning an asset on: July 01, 2024, 06:44:21 PM
It baffles me how some wealthy people in our society, instead of owning few productive properties that will stand as assets which will generate proceeds for them, they often enter into owning so many properties which some of them are left in dilapidated state and some of these wealthy men doesn't even know how many properties they've got because of how numerous they have become and sometimes some of the people who either stand as agents, witnesses or attorney that was involved in the business dealings hijacks some of these properties without the knowledge of the owner simply because they also have some of the owners documents in their possession.
For sure we are meant to acquire assets that will stand out for us in the future especially a time when we will no longer have much experience, energy and strength to work again in order to earn a living so our assets gives us the liberty to enjoy the fruits of our labour when we get old and these asset also stands as aid to people around us more especially our offsprings or relatives who are very dear to us at a time when we answer the "call of nature" (death).
My question is that is it advisable to own too many properties that are unproductive with the expectations that they would stand as aids to us in the future or should we just own few assets and make sure they are of the best standards and are generating money for us regularly?
owning large some of different properties is aimed at the expansion of networth which could largely deplete if it's been held in fiat currency. Where the laws doesn't give a restraint to the amount of properties an individual should acquire then there's nothing wrong about owning properties in any amount. It's a right.

The perspective of the wealthy and the average person on the street (probably a wage earner) about acquisition of assets of all sorts is quite different. It's common for the average person to conclude it to be a waste of funds but it's not so looking through the lens of the wealthy.

Yes, no argument about some of these properties getting into the hands of their lawyers and agents or caretakers but that often happen when the wealthy individual doesn't reveal to his family about all of those assets he possesses down to the least while he's still breathing.
Or a suggestion which I feel could be useful to any opulent wealthy guy reading this; you probably could make a video record where you make list of all properties you own and their locations and documents and who is standing as a caretaker for it. By so doing you don't have to worry about losing them to strangers when you're gone. Cool!
11  Other / Meta / Re: retiring an account in the age of AI on: July 01, 2024, 06:04:30 PM
If I was in your position I won't be red tagging my account as a part to retirement, it's not worth it after saving a reputation for years then have to permit a dent on it at the end. How do we get to explain that to the understanding of new members afterwards.

You should take the recommendations giving above by other members, because red tag always have a stigma in the forum irrespective of the reason it's given whether good or bad, by permission or omission.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Should Have a to Do List In Case Of winning A Huge Amount on: July 01, 2024, 05:15:27 PM
It is true how much a to-do-list can help a gambler spend wisely his money won from gambling. And for a gambler to set up a to do list in anticipation of a potential huge win it's therefore entails how financially conscious and discipline he is with his gambling lifestyle. With a to do list, it serves as a guide for a gambler to know where his spending should start from before any other focus that could lead to mismanagement of funds.

Although there some gamblers that don't necessarily need a to-do-list to have their huge win money to be directed into right spending. I myself have a few projects in mind of which some I have it underway incomplete, and that's where without a flinching thought that my focus will directed.

A lot of factors also play a role in affecting how unwisely some gamblers waste their huge win, illiteracy, a lack of responsibility, a lack of financial discipline and lack of exposure etc. They could serve as a debacle.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 01, 2024, 02:30:52 PM
This transfer period is very critical for Juventus. If they can get the players they expect, they can fight directly for the top, not for the top 4. I think they will be the best, but I'm not sure if it's this year or next year. Juventus is an important team in the history of football with its history of great players. I sincerely want them to be successful. I see the power to achieve this in Thiago Motta.
I also hope so and I think only Juventus can make Serie A competition much fiercer, otherwise Inter Milan will be able to easily win the Scudetto like last season.

With the arrival of Thiago Motta as their new coach, I am quite optimistic about Juventus' revival next season, and I am quite sure that they can compete fiercely in the race for the title and regarding the current squad, of course Juventus management must improve more deeply to bring in the best players. better quality, otherwise Thiago Motta will not be able to improve the team's performance.

there are some excellent signings that make us think that Juventus can have an excellent championship this year with the arrival of the new coach who seems to me to be very promising and ready for this new challenge, and in my opinion he can really reach the other levels that it deserves
Yes, Motta is very much poised to see Juventus level up in the Serie A next season and am quite impressed with his choice of players he is signing to the club, his signing, so far, has been very selective and not glitched up. Especially the signing of the Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa in a €50 million deal that seem to be profitable for Villa financially but yet is a huge plus to Juventus team to the race.  Luiz is a pragmatic midfielder and  one of the key players to Aston Villa's elevation in the EPL to the champions league ranks and he's sure to replicate such an impact with Juventus under Motta..
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Lessons learned after striving to save money at the age of 30. on: July 01, 2024, 12:18:35 PM
I take it that the post It's all about not saving at the expense of yourself by also making sure your finances does impact on your life positive as much as you forge towards making savings. It is understandable that our salaries are not keep up with the high inflation, which there makes everyone wanting to save for the future, but however we save, we should be conscious of not being too rigid with our concept of saving but flexible enough to accommodate emergencies and responsibilities that may arise outside what we may have ahead budgeted for.

The idea to have savings is that the savings could be used to save us and family when expected situations emerge such as health issues, children needs, and more others. So it doesn't matter how much time it might have taken to make up such savings, it's still worth letting lose in life threatening complications and challenges.

Just a quick one: being too rigid with savings doesn't or won't make you a great achiever.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do traders lose money in trading? on: June 30, 2024, 10:02:15 PM
From my experience, here are 4 reasons I discovered:

1/ Lack of Discipline— a) Not sticking to one strategy, b) not respecting your trading rules, c) not sticking to your plan.

2/ Lack of knowledge—Inadequate understanding of the market, trading strategy, financial instruments, and fundamentals can lead to poor decision-making.

3/ Not having a mechanical trading system—This leads to emotional trading. Decisions driven by emotions like fear and greed rather than rational analysis result in significant losses.

4/ Overtrading—Taking many trades will affect your decision-making ability and lead to poor decisions.

If there are other reasons why traders lose money, share them with me.
You have made an extensive and proper touch on very keys drawbacks traders are faced with leading to trading losses with, some little or no profit experiences.

I am mostly interested with the 4th reason, over-trading, as aside greed and impatient to wait for the right opportunity to showcase clearly before jumping in a position which has been one of many reasons traders lose out, there is something I refer to as responsibility-pressure that force some traders to overtrade. Finding oneself under many pressing demands that requires money to solve them had made traders overtrade making them vulnerable to series of losses due to how they get into the market based on emotions of the moment and with a pure lack of discipline and use of functional strategy.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: June 30, 2024, 04:58:06 PM
I wonder if Spalletti will be fired? Under him, the Italian team began to play worse.
I wouldn't be surprised as teams are really unpredictable about when to sack a coach. For example, England is still keeping Southgate despite the horrible performance.  Smiley

I don't understand Spalletti as well. He said that he didn't have the energy anymore to move on with Napoli. But a short time later we saw him accepting a national job offer. I mean of course national teams are less busy than a club. But still it doesn't make sense to me. I think the best thing for him would be to stay there instead of managing Italy.  Tongue
From the start, there were many people who doubted Spalletti because he mostly chose young players who were brought to the Euros and even many of the players in the Italian squad did not have experience. I was not surprised by their failure and even since the group stage I have seen that. Spalletti has not succeeded in building this team perfectly, the team's performance is still inconsistent and their performance is also not that impressive.
I think that for the future development of Italian football, Spalletti must be fired, he has shown that he has failed.

England vs Slovakia
Broadly speaking, of course on paper England has a greater chance of winning, but on the field Slovakia looks optimistic by taking advantage of the imbalance in England game, which always struggles to create more opportunities. So even though England are the favorites, there is still a percentage that gives Slovakia a breath of fresh air if the English players have difficulty implementing Southgate's strategy again.
In the group phase, it can be seen that England's performance is not that impressive even though they have a lot of quality players, but there have been many criticisms of the England team's performance so far, as have I, so I think even though England are very favorites, Slovakia still has the opportunity to put up a fierce resistance and make a surprise.
I bet on +1.5 Slovakia in this match.
For the first time in this tournament Kobbie Mainoo will be starting in the first X1 with Gallagher on the bench. Mainoo has been of significant impact in England recent games despite coming from the bench so with Gate starting him to pair with Declan Rice we should be seeing a threshold improved performance not just within the midfield but which will influence their attacking pressure against Slovakia. I think with the quality of players in the England squad, Southgate is also having a difficult time with his start X1 as every player is battling to find the first shirt in the team so far which has kept Palmer and Mainoo coming from the bench in all of their games despite the robust impact they make within the few minutes they get on the pitch.

Georgia's last victory over Portugal may not be completely used as a reference because in that match Portugal didn't play hard anymore.
However, Georgia has a lot of positive energy from this victory, the team's confidence and mentality will increase drastically, but this is a sacred match against Spain, the Spanish team will play hard of course and if you look at Spain's performance since the group phase, I think they have a consistent performance. and impressive so that I quite favor Spain to win and I even predict this will be an easy match for Spain.
Georgia is undeniably one of the team's in this tournament with a solid defense and have been up and doing despite not been seen as a team that would go far among the competitors. Their win against Portugal was just at a timing when Portugal had nothing to risk in losing that match which is why I won't use that result from that game to say Georgia will be a trouble for Spain having seen how these Spanish boys play. Spain had a complete 9 points in their groups, they have the best take-ons and passing strokes which am quite convince it won't take more than first half of the game before they break Georgia's defense to continue in their leading campaign in all games played.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Was it a Gut's feeling a Mathematical calculation or a Coincident? on: June 30, 2024, 02:11:55 PM

Does a human have the instinct to feel or know the outcome of gambling?  In this article it was said that the winner have the positive guts after buying the ticket and eventually won $2m or is it just a coincident?

I looked for some discussion on the internet and I agree with one of the replies on qoura[1] that the winner on Sportsbet does not rely on luck but rather on the mathematical calculation of the information presented by the data of the competing team but in this case, it is different since the game is based on chance and it would be hard to calculate the possible result since the data of distribution of the said ticket is unknown.
I don't agree much with coincident but that doesn't mean coincidence don't happen and to which gambling isn't excluded from coincidence activating a lucky win for a gambler. Likewise instinct - I can tell a number of times I have lost a bet all because I didn't follow my instinct (a small voice in my head), and this happened because my analysis from the data about the team's in a  match doesn't just flow or align with what my instinct is proposing. At the end of the results, I just get that short-time feeling of regret of "had I known".

Let's take this just concluded football match between Italy - Switzerland in the Euros, basically from calculation nobody would have thought about Switzerland leading that game 2 nil from the first 45 minutes and even with the use of statistical data analysis all will be pointing to the favours of the Italian team before the game started, but under that circumstance our instinct might differ about Italy as favourite to win but due to statistical calculation from available information instinct doesn't major in our choice of predictions.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining is not for beginners on: June 30, 2024, 01:02:10 PM
.
Mining is simply not for Beginners as all miners will face experienced industrial and professional businesses competing to mine a new Bitcoin Block.
Is it due to the competiton involved with bitcoin mining, among miners, that makes it not for beginners or what? Or, it's the fear of starting as a beginner against already existing miners in the industry that you're emphasizing on mining not being a beginners thing or that beginners do not make success going into bitcoin mining?

IMO, for it is good a thing that there exist some competition, not monopolized, if a beginner gets determined to understudy and acquire the needed knowledge and technicalities for a mining expertise, and is with the  financial strength to provide mining equipments to get started, it's just in a matter of time he get adapted to those experiences he lacks that makes him a beginner. Bitcoin mining shouldn't be presented to appear scary.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: June 29, 2024, 06:50:08 PM
Their solid defense couldn't stop a goal from the Switzerland attackers, and the Italy defenders are not well coordinated since because they have already conceded a goal with two shots on goals in the first half, meanwhile their attack are yet to register a shot in the match
Their defense isn't good but still better than their midfield and attacking systems but their performance in the first half can be described as very poor and terrible. Switzerland deserve with the goal after create high ball possession and break Italy too many parts. There is no good bond among Italy players and their coach Spaletti will have to do more than one substitution at start of the second half.
It was nothing short of a poor tactical application from Spaletti, the defense from the Italian side in this game, the midfield and attacking forward wasn't of anything better either, there was a lack of confidence about how they performed. The Swiss were just the better side in the game, gave an absolute performance with a dripping intensity and  pressure. It was a deserving win right from the first half the signs were there...

Next game tonight is that of the host nation Germany vs Denmark which am optimistic about Germany outplaying Denmark to get into the next round. Not saying it going to be an easy game but Germany would have to win
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think as a gambler we should allocate specific amount to gamble? on: June 29, 2024, 12:40:08 AM

I will like to see your different opinion on this misconception maybe let us know how to control gambling addiction if by using spare cash can reduce and limits gambling addiction or not. You can continue the discussion over here if you have made your vote and give your opinion
Op just as you, I personally don't have any money tagged spare money within my possession, any penny in my custody has a specific use.  If we are to dwell on the premise of spare-money how do we even categorize money that should be spare money and that which is not?

I think the phrase spare-money settles in conveniently with gamble addicts as a metric they can easily use to cover their over spending on gambling and later placate themself to accept that it was a spare-money they wasted or lost so for that no need worrying. Allocating specific amount to your gambling expenditure could be fashioned to be like the break pedal in a car, the exhaustion of your allocated amount  you just know it's time to hold break from the day's gambling.
