1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: should lack of knowledge about an existing thread be tolerated in the forum? on: Today at 08:22:05 AM
This topic has been discussed before  Grin

For example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5462762.0

But all kidding aside, it's a grey area... Sometimes i start a topic that was *allmost* identical to an existing one (a prime example would be your topic and the link i posted... they are similar but not identical), or where the existing topic was last used several years ago (and necroposting is still discouraged)... Sometimes i use the search function but use "wrong" search parameters...

Usually, people that don't use the search don't bother me all that much... I usually point them towards the existing thread and tell them it would be better if they closed their thread and posted in the existing once instead
I personally agree with your sentiment bro,  most of this similar thread are mostly not the same, they might look alike because it all boils down to the same ends results, so the best thing to do just as you rightfully said is to tell them to lock the thread, and let that issue be discussed in the main thread, but having a serious issue with when  something like that occurs, is the least of my problem.

And lastly, the op of this thread should understand that not everyone are the same, people behave and think  differently, because we all have eyes that we use in looking, but we sees differently, so getting upset over something that can be easily corrected when pointing it out should be a no no, because I believe that you have a more bigger problem aside that, unless you are sad or grumpy on how life have been treating you, so you just decide to transfer that aggression on someone else, if not, I see no need getting upset over it.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: Today at 06:41:10 AM
Both are possible, it is just that since we have no way to control the events that happen around us, being too aggressive in our investment strategy can be very detrimental, if we find ourselves facing a difficult set of circumstances.

So the safest path is to build your emergency fund and only then begin to invest in bitcoin, however such an approach has an opportunity cost and you may miss buying bitcoin at an attractive price, so I can understand why you may prefer to take a hybrid approach.
I prefer to buy Bitcoin at an attractive price, namely when the price has fallen or is still in a fairly low area historically for several months. However, the investment approach as you say is also very good because everyone is required to have an emergency fund even though the fund is not used often every day. But I actually prefer to buy Bitcoin first, even in a smaller amount, rather than preparing a larger emergency fund because I like holding Bitcoin even if the amount is not that much. Because preparing an emergency fund also takes time and it could make us miss the best price on Bitcoin so that we don't have time to buy at a more attractive price.

Your strategy for buying Bitcoin are more like a some worth trading strategy, it is mostly traders that prioritized buying Bitcoin when it is relatively low or fallen (drop), in as much as buying when the price is relatively low or has fallen can be good as it gives the opportunity of buying more Bitcoin with the same amount of money used to buy lesser Bitcoin from its previous high, buying at any price point doesn't really make much of the difference if the plan is to hold for a long term, am actually wondering what could possibly be your definition of best price on Bitcoin and buying at a more attractive price? Timing the market condition can become very problematic for an investor who is still new in the market that is meant to be sizing every opportunities that shows it's self in the market in order  to accumulate as much as possible up to reasonable amount of Bitcoin, with DCA strategy you are always there in the market on time without any form of timing the market condition buy making purchase of Bitcoin irrespective of the price point either weekly or monthly with as little as comfortably you can. Outside making reference to building emergency funds towards achieving our investment goal and objectives, generally emergency funds is very important in life since everyone is prone to encounter unforseen circumstances making provision for it is also very essential.

No, I disagree on what you are trying to say here that buying the deep, when the price is relatively low are meant for traders, no I disagree, to me, buying the deep is just one of the strategy of accumulating Bitcoin and getting a very large numbers of it at a very cheap price if you have the financial leverage to do so, that doesn't change the fact that the DCA accumulating strategy is the best, because you buy and accumulate Bitcoin base on how much you can afford either weekly or monthly, but you saying that if an investor decide to  invest by buying only the deep looks like trading, no bro, that is what I majorly disagree on.

Lastly, the point you raised can only be valid if the person is not a long term holder or someone that sell at any slight increase in the value of Bitcoin, if not that, then I disagree on you point.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: Today at 06:27:00 AM
If you look at several previous posts, Antonio Conte will not be worried about Osimhen's departure because there is still Kvaratskhelia who the new coach can rely on and there is no need to hunt for new players who have the same reliability as Osimhen.
As far as I know, Napoli is trying to keep one of the players at least. But it is untrue if Conte isn't worried because Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia actually have different positions in the lineup. So if one of them leave the team, Conte must sign a new player to replace the position left by the player. It is not easy to get a new player who has the same level as them. And it should take a lot of money to sign a top player, Napoli must do a hard effort if they must sign a player with the same level as Osimhen or Kvaratskhelia. Personally, I hope both of them will stay in Napoli.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Oshimen are both strikers so Conte can still rely on one of them if it is true that one of them will leave, in my opinion Oshimen and Kvaratskhelia's performance is not much different and Conte can put Kvarat in Oshimen's position but yes Conte still needs players others to fill the void that will be left behind.
It is the hope of Napoli fans that they don't want to lose one of them because they are an important part of the club, but if one of them is uncomfortable leaving is the best decision rather than forcing themselves.

Talking about the value of Osimhen's clause, there is new news that Osimhen still wants to leave Napoli and with a clause value of around 120 million and PSG could pay him, but reading this source I think that Osimhen seems more interested in accepting offers from premier league clubs.
The latest news I know, Napoli wants €150m for Osimhen. PSG already made an offer above €120m but it was rejected by Napoli management. I don't think there is an EPL team that wants to pay for €150m. I guess only PSG which is very serious to sign Osimhen and they want to spend money over €120m.

Whatever the price, it is clear that Victor Oshimen is an expensive player and only rich clubs can recruit this player, not only PSG dares to make an offer to this player. The Premier League is also occupied by rich clubs and I see that Manchester United is also interested in this player, but they had to sell one of its mainstay players to be able to recruit Oshimen. Let's see which of them can finally recruit Oshimen.

Source : https://www.bolasport.com/read/314114003

Just as you rightfully pointed out, victor osimhen is definitely going to be an expensive acquisition to any club that want to got his signature on paper, because he is not just and expensive player, but also a very top players also, and it's only few teams that can afford him, though I disagree on what you said that it's only psg that would be able to afford him now, no, Manchester united can afford him if they want to chase this particular deal, it's just a matter of if they are willing to chase this deal.

But to me, on a career move for victor osimhen, I would have love it if he stay put at Napoli, if no English team is able to acquire his signature, than going to Paris, because as for me, staying back at Napoli is not a bad move either, because since their new manager is Antonio conte, they are more likely to challenge for trophies this season, so moving away from the club should not be a must, to have a successful career.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: Today at 05:58:26 AM

And here we are, only 8 teams left.
My picks for the winners of the quarter-finals:
Spain
Portugal
England
Turkey

ps, why do English portals spell Turkey as "Türkiye"?? What kind of nonsense is that?
Say goodbye to Turkey and hello to Türkiye. It's been like this for at least two years, I guess you haven't heard of it. Of course, it is still a habit, even our citizens continue to say Turkey, but actually it is just Türkiye.

https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2022/06/28/turkey-is-now-turkiye-what-other-countries-have-changed-their-name

If I had to talk about the match in the last 16 rounds. It was a match that I was excited about every second of it. I haven't seen our national team play so focused and clear lately. We knew that Austria was not an easy team, they came first despite which teams were in the group they were leading, and it was not a coincidence that it was because they played well.

The player of the match was Merih. Even though he was a defender, he scored two goals and was selected as the player of the match. He had a very good match. It was good to see Arda Güler starting the match in the first 11. He played well in the future, played a well-pressured game, in fact the whole team was like that.
I was really impressed by the performance of the Turkish national team yesterday, just as you rightfully pointed out, they were very much focussed, and the early goal they got put them into an advantageous position, which was a major setback for Austria, and that alone made Austria start chasing the game, which is never a good thing against a well organized team like turkey last night, so a big congratulations to turkey, for qualifying to the quarter finals of this competition.

Talking about the quarter finals fixtures, all the games are definitely going to be a fascinating encounter, because if you look at the team involved, they are top class teams, so it's definitely going to be exciting, but the game that I really find interest in, is Germany vs Spain, that particular game is definitely going to be a cracker and as a neutral fan, I would be going to watch that game hoping that I can catch the best possible fun in that encounter.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you also panic when bitcoin price falls more than 10-20% in a day ? on: July 02, 2024, 11:54:37 AM
Are you one of those who get panicked when bitcoin price falls by 10-20% in a day ? Or you are no longer affected by such price drops and continue to invest on each dip ? Any suggestions on how to control own feelings in case of such drastic drops in bitcoin price ?
No, I don't panic, because their is actually no need in panicking when I am quite confident in what I invested in, which is Bitcoin, see to tell you the truth bro, if you as an investor invest with the purpose of holding for a long period of time, you wouldn't be bothered by any deep in price, you will only see every deep as an opportunity to acquire more Bitcoin, because that's what rich and more knowledgeable investors do in the industry, not panicking, it's only impatient investors or those traders that sell at any slit increase in the value of Bitcoin that get bothered when the price of Bitcoin deep further.

another thing that should make you not to panic is that, if you look at the historical movement of Bitcoin over the years, you will know that it always rally back, irrespective of how deep it value went, so as a sane investor, the best thing to do when the value of Bitcoin deep is to buy more, if you have the financial leverage to do so, so it's not a time to panic.

Duo Joao is a player who has made a positive contribution despite his loan status, both players have done their job very well. This is because Joao Felix and Cancelo realize that this is the only way they can continue playing on the field with enough playing time. At his home club there is no guarantee that he will get regular playing time like at Barcelona. In my opinion, if Felix or Cancelo return to their original club, they will fill the bench again or loan.
In my opinion, these two players are actually still far from Barcelona's expectations, but after all they have done their best and I doubt that Barcelona will borrow them again, let alone make them permanent because Barcelona has not been able to escape financial problems.
So I think Barcelona will try to borrow other players or look for players. who has free transfer status to bring him to the club and hopes that the player can give more positive results, but I don't think it's easy for the club because Barcelona's current condition will make the players think long and hard about playing with the club, even though Barcelona is an elite club in La Liga. .

Regarding the fate of these two players, it looks like they will be returned to their respective clubs.
I think Barcelona has enough cooperation with them and it looks like these two players will again sit on the bench or if a club makes an offer to them. I think the club will easily let them go because they are not really used in their respective clubs.
Yes, you are actually right about this two players, they are less important to their respective club and if you look at them again, though they are top quality for Barcelona football club, but to Atletico madrid and Manchester city they are not up to the required standard needed to be playing regularly week in week out.

And talking about the ability of Barcelona retaining their services, just as you rightfully said, financially it's very much unlikely that they can sign them on a permanent basis due to financial troubles, and I also don't think Manchester city and atletico madrid would want a loan deal again, they might prefer a straight forward sale, than sending them out on loan again, now that their value is still high.

Lastly, I am still really surprised by the financial status of a world class club like Barcelona, how do they even got to this point? Their are so many questions that need an answer from the hierarchy of Barcelona or even the past administrators, because it's no longer funny.
8  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Naija board needs more merit source on: July 02, 2024, 06:55:37 AM
With the way the Merit come dey very hard to get, person go just dey wonder whether em no they try abi em no dey do the right thing, and the fact wey be say those merit sources wey they for beginners and help no understand Pidgin to merit Pidgin posts wey we submit they make am hard for our people to get more merits, therefore we seriously need this Merit sources.

I they see posts within and outside our local board and eh reach to say our people dey really try with quality posts we dey follow up well well but then the merits no dey reach us and if you one do comparison you go see say many of the post from our people even get more quality pass their own but them go they get more merits pass us.

That's why we need more merits sources like the OP talk so that our people go they get merits for well deserving posts especially the newly introduced members wey done dey dey discourage cause them they try their best buy em come be like say them no dey try, I just hope say oga Theymos go look into the matter as fast as possible.

True, the merits per post ratio is quite low when compared to the number of posts and active users; my source merit is less than 10% of total posts every month, and Brainboss, a patroller source, does not have enough sources either. We don't need another merit source; what we do need, and what I recently asked from theymos, is a boost for both myself and Brainboss, who has been extremely helpful. His response was favourable, so soon or later we would have all we needed to meet the level of quality on the board, and each and every profile would be assessed and awarded the necessary merit.. I know to assure everyone that I'm doing the best and for the interest of everyone.

A difficult phase but na less, the Sherrif will get it sort out soon. Keep quality guys.
My oga, you don really talk well, you and oga brainboss don prove say na true leaders ona be, and na only God go fit bless ona for us we the naija community, and to be frank, ona deserve to be crown a chieftaincy title because ona really deserve am.

Just as wetin you don talk already, as e stands now, e go dy easy for theymos to increase the merit allocation for you and oga brainboss than giving us another merit source, so I believe say applying for increments of the merit allocation for you and oga brainboss go dy more productive than looking for more merit source to emerge, because quite of late, merit don hard well well, if no be hugeblack wey dy help us sometimes, I for wonder how e for be, so in essence is that, na very good thing you do , because e dy easy for theymos to increase you and brainboss merit allocation than appointing another merit source.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: July 02, 2024, 06:29:07 AM
France were really lucky with that winner in the last minutes. Such a domination by 20 goal attempts but only 2 on target? This isn't good statistics at all honestly.  Sad  There is a serious finishing issue with this team. If France had a more capable opponent I think they would probably got eliminated.
Yes, France was very lucky this time, very lucky, because thanks to OG by Vertonghen, they were finally able to win the match and advance to QF. It was the only goal scored in the match, and it's OG. In fact, France had a lot of opportunities to invade, so they even continuously attacked Belgium. However, Belgium was still able to break their attack very well. This time, their defenders really played very effectively, so that France was only able to take 2 shots on target and all of them were saved.

Belgium in this case must be very sorry, especially Vertonghen, of course, because of his OG, they had to lose badly and go home with that defeat. Look at how sad the expressions of Vertonghen, de Bruyne and Lukaku were, after the OG.

France is the team that played very effectively in the match. They initiated almost every attack. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Belgium could not show any presence in the match. The goal for Belgium was to take the match to penalties, but they failed to do so. If France plays like this against Portugal, they will beat them too. Portugal could only beat Slovenia yesterday on penalties.
To be frank, I wasn't really impressed by the performance of France yesterday because I expected a better performance from them, though they won one nil, but I think that they were just lucky, because Belgium on the other hand is not doing well on their own, they have been practically poor throughout this tournament, so I was expecting France to win convincingly which was never the case here, so if they don't improve massively, I don't think they can cross the semi final stage of this competition, because they have been really poor, comparing to their standard.

And as for the game between Portugal vs Slovenia, it was actually a fascinating encounter and a very difficult match for the Portugal side, because the Slovenians were very compact defensively, and they proved a very hard nut to crack, though cristiano Ronaldo miss a penalty kick in extra time,  but I just feels like it just one of those days for Portugal that no matter what they do, the ball will just refused to go in, but a big congratulations to them for winning it on penalties.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How tough is futures in comparison to spot trading on: July 01, 2024, 07:47:48 AM
I plan to learn futures trading and dive into it fully, I've been demo trading for a while now and I've been doing fine and I think I can make the big jump now maybe because the exchange I'm using is offering events for first time futures traders lol

But I'm sure you guys have traded futures a lot, how hard is it compared to spot?

As a newbie trader, I would advice you to stick to spot trading because it's mostly buying and selling, in other words, you buy low and sell high, but the future market is more difficult because you predict the movement of the market, if it goes your way, you make money and if it goes against you you lose money.

Secondly, talking of demo trading which you have been doing for sometime now according to you, and you have been successful in it, I want you to have it at the back of your mind that demo trading is nothing compared to live trading, because in demo trading their is no emotions like fear and greed, so just know that you stand a very high chances of losing a whole lot of money if you can't control your emotions when trading live, but I would advice you to keep off for now, till you are more knowledgeable enough in the craft, and know all it entails and how to navigate your way in the market and be profitable, or due you want to learn the hard way?

I would just advice you to keep off for now, because it's for your own good.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: July 01, 2024, 07:31:37 AM

Continue to maintain the Bitcoin that we already have even though the conditions have become a little different from before, because the price increase will return to Bitcoin even though currently there is a little price stability between the range of $60K to $61K more. And to expect $100K in Bitcoin, it seems like you still need a little patience for Bitcoin holders and for those who are having difficulty with the current drop in Bitcoin prices, there is no need to panic because the potential price increase in Bitcoin could still occur this year.

The 100k speculation even if achieved is not enough reason for any low coiner to ever think of selling their investment, instead of panicking for any drop in price of Bitcoin is better you take advantage of it to buy more
Bitcoin at a more cheaper price, in the early part of this year, Bitcoin was at 40$, 45$, so seeing it at what it is today for me Bitcoin is doing pretty well and I don't see any reason or what so ever that worth panicking especially considering long term investment plan.

People who have experience in bitcoin prices especially when buying at prices below $20k will not panic to see a price drop this close, let alone those who experienced a decline of up to $15k two years ago surely it is much more difficult than the decline that is happening now, this is still fairly reasonable for this month because we have experienced enough of an increase from the beginning of 2025 to form a new ATH, correction is a normal market system so that supply and demand work where indeed in the chart also it is a healthy thing that we can make as a count to make future predictions.

Whether you want to sell and buy back when there is a decline or continue to accumulate is a good option, the most important thing is that we should not be excessive in investing in bitcoin so that our finances can be managed very well, and there are no worries whatsoever.

Yes it's actually true that those people that seize the opportunity two years ago and bought Bitcoin when it fell to 15k, 20k and even 25k wouldn't be that bothered in it current decline in value because they bought when it really matters, which was the very deep we are talk about, and they would be very happy now that they took that step then.

What I really want to talking about, which I don't think is ideal is your last paragraph, which you made mentioned of buying and selling, hoping to buy back when their is a decline in price, I think that is what traders do, so if you start doing that, you are no longer an investor, but a trader, and am quite certain that you can't build generational wealth like that, because the only way of achieving such result is to hold for a very long time.

Lastly, I also want you to understand that once you start selling gradually and start taking small small profit from you holding, hoping to buy back latter on, you wouldn't be able to develop a stronger hands again in your holding ability, because you would be always tempted to sell at any slight increase in the value of Bitcoin, which is definitely not ideal to build a generational wealth.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: July 01, 2024, 07:10:02 AM
Spain is playing the best football in the tournament. Their quarter final match against Germany will most probably be an early final. I'm sure the winner of that match will lift the trophy. These two teams have been my favorites since the beginning of the tournament. Even if they don't make it to final, this generation of Spain will win many trophies in the coming years.

yes indeed Spain always looks very impressive and up to now Spain has never lost and their strength is truly extraordinary and the match against Georgia of course Spain showed that the Spanish squad has a strong mentality as evidenced by the fact that when the Spanish goal was conceded due to an own goal by Normand but Spain's mentality was not disturbed and finally Rodri scored a goal and made the Spanish players more enthusiastic. and until finally Spain was able to reverse the situation, the score was 4-1 for Spain's victory and of course Spain will definitely be ready to face Germany in the quarter final.

Of course, the quarter-finals will definitely be an exciting match and of course I personally find it very difficult to predict the winner of that match because Germany is a strong team and Spain is also a strong team. but it looks like it could be that the winner of the match will have the potential to lift the trophy but in my opinion of course we won't know who will lift the trophy because all the teams will definitely fight with their maximum to fight for the title at Euro 2024 because of course there are still other strong teams, such as England. Of course England has a strong squad.

but you favorite team is really extraordinary and their performance is currently good, so of course we'll see whether you favorite team will win and become champions or not.

Without a doubt, the Spanish team is the most impressive team I have watched so far in this tournament, because they not only dominate most of the ball, they also win convincingly, unlike others top teams in the competition that are struggling to win, and on that note I see them as one of the favourite to win this one here, because they are very very good as a team.

Secondly, it's actually true that their next opponent is Germany, which is not only a Europe force, but also the host nation, so I believe that they would still be tagg as the favourite here, due to the fact that the game is being played on their home turf, but it actually going to be a open game, the two teams are actually good, so I can't be certain on who might take the day, but it definitely going to be a fascinating encounter between this two teams.

What I think is going to separate this two teams is the tactical impetus of both coaches, because I believe that a game like this is most likely to get even, and in a situation like that, what's going to separate them is how good tactically the coaches are.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 01, 2024, 06:24:15 AM
Yes, rumors have even spread about Man United's seriousness towards the player who was also under Ten Hag at Ajax. This 24 year old center back should still be at Bayern Munich until 2027. However, Man United is serious enough to bring him in to strengthen the club under Ten Hag. At least, Man United has contacted the Bayern Munich team and prepared the best offer. Because after all, Matthijs de Ligt is one of Bayern Munich's best defenders over the last 2 seasons.

Source: Man Utd Seriously Want to Sign Matthijs De Ligt!

-snip
This time Ten Hag is really serious about doing everything he can to bring in a quality player like Matthijs de Ligt and I am sure that Man United close relationship with this player could happen. And it looks like Ten Hag will sell or replace the existing defender with Matthijs de Ligt to improve the defense which this season looks very bad and Ten Hag has started to prioritize the regeneration of defenders.

But regarding the news about Manuel Ugarte, to be honest, I'm still a little doubtful because the team that owns this player is currently also hunting for quality players, while Manuel Ugarte is also a reliable player that PSG currently has, unless Enrique is targeting a new player to replace Manuel Ugarte.

Mathijs de light to Manchester united, I think it's quite possible, considering the fact that Eric ten hang knows this particular player very well and he knows exactly what he can bring to the table, so I believe that if they can make a good offer to Bayern Munich, then this particular deal might go through, but to be frank Mathijs de light haven't lived up to the expectations when he was signed initially, and it's actually a very sad one here that it is even speculated that he wants to leave the club, because I know that he is a very talented defender, I don't just know why he can't establish himself at Bayern Munich.

And as for the interest of Manchester united on ugarte, I actually don't know if psg is going to allow him leave the club, but due to how injury prone he is, I believe that psg might consider to cashing in on him, because no injury prone player is a reliable player, even when you need him the most, he wouldn't be available due to injury.
14  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Challenge of Bitcoin as the only source of income on: June 30, 2024, 11:33:03 AM
Bitcoin is a genuine and financial intensive business that has the potential of financial sustainability of a knowledgeable in the Bitcoin system as a career and only source of income but considering the nature of the world we are living today telling people the source of your income is not adviceable for security purpose. so if you are living in environment where people don't know that you are into Bitcoin, they don't see you go out for a job hunt or for business but know very well that you are living average life without financial stress while always indoor that will become to question your source income or start having negative impression about you and your means of surviving.
So, my question is, what are you going to do if you find yourself in this kind of situation?

First of all not having any other sources of income is really not good for your holdings, because you will have to fall back to your holdings for survival which is not a good idea, as long as you really want to have a good stash of Bitcoin in possession and you are actually thinking long term, not doing anything will make you eat up your investment bit by bit till it runs out.

Secondly, talking about you staying home all day and be doing nothing, bro, we all know the society we find ourselves, especially in Nigeria,  once you are at home doing nothing, and you are living a good live, spending extravagantly, you will definitely be seen as a yahoo boy, so in a situation like the one you pointed out, I would advice that you do all your crypto job or anything you are doing online that pays your bills, you do it in the comfort of your home,  though I would advice you let one or two people that are close to you know what you does for a living, so that in case of tomorrow, they might be able to speak on your behalf, and even in your absence, but as for the constant pressing of phone, I suggest you do it mostly indoor, so that you won't be seen as a fraudster.

Lastly, control the way you spend money, especially in the presence of those your neighbors, let them not start thinking you are into fraud.

Hi everyone, I'm still learning about crypto currency and the lots but I  wanted to share a conversation I had with a friend.

So she's been hesitant to get into crypto, and I was trying to convince her to give it a shot. But she's particular about the risks involved.

She said something that stuck with me, 'I don't want to play a high-risk game with my money'. And I get it, the thought of losing your investment in this economy is terrifying.

But it got me thinking, is investing in cryptocurrency really a risky game?

I mean, a lot of people are into it and we've all heard the horror stories about scams and hacks, but we've also seen the potential for huge gains.

So, is it worth the risk?

Have any of you had experiences that have made you more cautious or more confident in investing in crypto?  Please share I'd love to know

Cryptocurrency generally is quite risky, just as every other investment out there, but when referring to to Bitcoin and different types of asset to invest in, it comes with their own level of risk entirely,  for example now, if you invest only on Bitcoin, in as much as it's also risky due to it volatility, but it's no way near as dangerous as investing in meme coin or shit coin as we call it,  which to me is like gambling.

Another aspect that makes it very risky is that if you are not knowledgeable enough to know all it entails and how to protect your asset in this crypto space, at some point, you might lose all your hard earned money due to lack of knowledge on security, so in essence is that, in cryptocurrency, their are level of risk in it, such as low risk investment, which is Bitcoin and a higher risk investment which is alt coin and shit coin.

Lastly, until that your friend is ready to put his money to work, he is not ready to make money, because the  fear of losing money will not take him anywhere, and it's even more risky not investing in Bitcoin now with the current economic situation in the world.

At least with the new coach now Todd has hope that Enzo can change Chelsea to be better than before although surely this can be realized will be very difficult to do but on the other hand we also cannot judge as if Enzo will not be able to bring Chelsea.
Before a coach is signed, the management always has the hope that the club's performance is going to improve. The same thing is happening to Enzo, everyone is expecting a better performance from the coach, but we don’t know how the coach is going to perform yet until the season starts. A coach might be performing well in a particular team, and when the coach decides to join another team, his performance might reduce, so I can’t really wait for the season to start so that I can see the pattern that he is going to be using, and I hope Chelsea performance next season will be better than last season.
The hope of getting the team's performance out of decline is always a priority for management. Changing coaches is common in a club when the team's performance is not as expected. Chelsea management has high hopes for Enzo Maresca, they consider Enzo to be the most appropriate figure to improve Chelsea performance after he was successful with the previous team.
Changes in the squad began to be made gradually, since Enzo was appointed as head coach, management immediately dipped into their pockets to bring in new players. Next season there will be several new faces in the Chelsea squad, Enzo must be able to fulfill management's expectations after they have worked hard to see his team can compete in the title race.
The performance of Chelsea football club wasn't that bad under Mauricio pochettino during the closing stage of last season, so I never expected them to relieve him of his duty, it was later I heard that he was sacked for the sole reason of wanting to be in charge of who goes in and out of the club, and to me, that reason is very much valid, as the manager of the club, he is the one that would be sacked if the team isn't doing well, so why would the hierarchy of Chelsea sack him for wanting the right thing to be done?

This shows that the hierarchy of Chelsea is just looking for a yes man, someone that they can control up and down, and to the best of my knowledge, he wasn't sacked because of the performance of the team, so i still believe that Enzo mascara will struggle to do well if their is still interference from Todd boehly and co. And secondly, the team is seriously lacking experience, instead of them signing experience players, they are busy recruiting under 20 and a bunch of inexperienced players into the team, until that aspect is fixed, I believe that they will keeps on struggling, because the right thing hasn't been done yet.

~Snip~
It has been visible since the start of the Euro that Italy is playing like the country of Mediakor, I would not be surprised by this 2-0 result from the way they faced Spain and they played like that, it is very clear that the Italian game and players have declined since Buffon's retirement. Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, and several important Juventus players who were not called by Luciano Spalletti, have lost the title of defending champion in the hands of Italy.
Italy played very slowly and gave the impression of being boring, they also had difficulty creating opportunities which resulted in defeat by Switzerland. This result is not surprising because Italy played very badly in the group stage, communication between players was not well established which led to several fatal mistakes. Switzerland managed to dominate the match well, they did not leave the slightest gap for Italy to develop their game.

Italy failure to retain the Euro trophy was not too surprising because their game was very poor, the players' self-confidence fell very easily, making their game even more chaotic. After Switzerland managed to eliminate Italy in the round of 16, Euro 2024 will present a new champion. Germany as the host still has the status of the favorite team to win this tournament, Spain also still has a big chance, but France and Portugal also still have the opportunity to give a surprise.

I was really surprised by the lackluster performance of the Italian team yesterday, because I was one of those people that thought that due to the experience of the Italian in major competition like this, they would be able to put away the Switzerland team easily, but it happens the other way round, the swiss team easily defeated the Italian which was really a surprise to me, but to be frank, the performance of the Italian was very poor, I expected better from them as defending champions but they were a total disappointment.

And as for the German team, a big congratulations to them for making it to the next round, no doubt that they are one of the favourite to win this competition, but they really need to improve in the final third, because they can't afford being wasteful in front of goal against one of the top contenders in this competition, if not, they would pay for it dearly, they can't be putting too much pressure on Musiala, and be expecting him to make a difference every time, because he is just a 21 year old.

Round of 16 will begin today and the first match is between Italy vs Swiss
Italy vs Swiss and Germany vs Denmark are two matches for today as beginning of round of 16.

Switzerland vs Italy as the opening match of round 16 will attract a lot of attention from the audience. Switzerland is a strong team that will make it difficult for Italy in Berlin. If Switzerland manages to get ahead of Italy, an incident like when they narrowly escaped against Croatia will not happen again.
Switzerland during the group stage they were also sharp when it came to scoring goals. So I predict the Switzerland vs Italy match will be a fast game.

Germany might be able to finish the match against Denmark with a win because Germany's chances of winning are better than Denmark's, even though that is just an analysis.

Yes, it's very much true that  Switzerland is a very good team no doubt, but I don't seeing them knocking Italy out of this competition because the Italian teams is a very experience team, and besides they are the defending champions, so they knows what it takes to go far in a competition like this, and if you look at their groups, the Italian team came out of one of the most difficult group in the competition, so I don't actually think they have enough firepower to breach the solid defensive lineup of the Italian team.

And as for the game between Germany vs Denmark, though Germany are actually the favourite here, due to their rich history in the competition, added with the fact that they are also the host nation, so it's their home turf, so a win is really expected from them, but it's not going to be an easy game, because Denmark are actually good, we all saw how they drew the English team in their group stage encounter, so I expect them to give the German national team a very good fight even though I sees the German team as the favourite here

Here we go, Ian Maatsen officially moved from Chelsea to Aston Villa, Aston Villa only pays 44.5 Million Euros to get him. Although Chelsea has too many players especially in defending positions, but I didn't expect they would sell Maatsen instead of other players.

Malang Sarr, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile are players that I speculate to leave Chelsea, those four France players are worse than Ian Maatsen.

What the hell!!! I never expected him to join Aston Villa, but several reports said he was extremely close to Dortmund. And Dortmund appeared unable to meet Chelsea's request for 44.5 million euros. Matseen is reportedly close to joining Dortmund as a permanent player, but due to Chelsea's asking price, The deal between Dortmund and Chelsea most likely collapsed.
I'd rather speculate on Levy Colwill's departure from Chelsea than those players (Saar, Badiashile, Disasi, and Fofana). As far as I can tell you, Levy Colwill has been given the green light to join Bayern Munich.

I would name Colwill as the next back to depart from Chelsea very soon. Bayern Munich expressed an interest in recruiting him. Finally, I completely agree that Maatsen is better than those four defenders (Saar, Badiashile, Disasi, and Fofana).

Though it saddens me seeing him maatsen leave Chelsea, because I initially thought that due to his performance at borussia dortmund he would be given a chance when he returns, but it wasn't meant to be, and another thing that surprised me was him moving to this Aston villa instead of borussia dortmund, though it was obvious that borussia dortmund doesn't have the financial power as Aston villa to push this particular deal through, but it's a very good signing for aston villa, because he is actually going to improve their left back position.

And talking of the potential departure of most of Chelsea lads, i think the players that are very much likely to leave the club are colwill, badiashile, malaam sarr, broja, and choloba, but it really saddens me seeing cholaba on that list, because I believe that he is still very good, and he was definitely our best defender last season when Mauricio pochettino started using him, so I don't know why they are even thinking of selling him, because as for me, he is way better than all the current central backs at Chelsea right now that Thiago Silva has left the club.
