1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The death of Ethereum is inevitable? Can ETH on the price of $100? on: September 27, 2018, 11:19:20 PM
Now a bear market, so it's not surprising that many currencies are overburdening hard times. Ether is no exception.

Now many ICO projects are also going through hard times. After all, the situation is unpredictable, so investors are not in a hurry to take part in ICO.

Theoretically, the price of the ether can drop below $100.

But despite all the negative aspects, the ether is still an excellent coin that enjoys and will enjoy popularity. At this moment there are no worthy competitors to ether. The price of the ether will definitely grow in the future. This is not a cheap project with a 251 (for example) position of the https://coinmarketcap.com. This is coin number 2 from the top of all existing crypto currencies.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2018, 11:03:21 PM
I think your assumptions have a certain meaning. There is a high probability that before the price of bitcoin starts to rise, it will drop very low. Of course I think that $4000 is a very low mark, but I'm not exactly sure. Two months ago, I didn't believe that the price of the ether would go down to $200, but it went down even lower.
I agree with the fact that now is a good time for the accumulation of currencies, that I actively do.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What did you suggest about the market? on: September 27, 2018, 10:49:13 PM
The current situation on the market is highly ambiguous. You can hear different opinions. And everyone believes in different things. But none of them with confidence can not say anything.
You must have your own opinion about the market and your own assumptions. Only this will give you strength and confidence in your actions.
When I first wanted to invest in crypto currency, I was also covered by fear. And only after I explained to myself why I do it and what exactly I am willing to do for earnings, I without any fear invested.
I already had a strong belief in crypto currency. I was confident then and now that the prices of currencies (for some) will grow. Since then, there have been many things. I got a huge amount of experience and to this day I have never regretted that I invested in crypto currency.

P.S. I invested that amount that I was not afraid to lose. Later, when my investments paid off and multiplied, I took away the money that I invested in the beginning.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Arweave: A truly permanent, low cost, scalable data storage blockchain on: September 25, 2018, 10:23:55 PM

Hi there!

We’re stoked to let you know that you can now start claiming your reward from the Arweave bounty program!

We want to thank you for your contributions and for the hard work you’ve put into writing articles and reviews, designing infographics, filming videos, and creating so much impressive content about Arweave.

With your contribution to the Arweave bounty campaign, you have earnt the following amount of AR tokens:

Twitter: 21 AR

Here’s how you claim your bounty reward:

1) Generate your new wallet

Follow this link https://me.upvest.co/ and complete a few simple steps to create your wallet with our first wallet partner, Upvest. This should take only a few minutes to complete. Your wallet will be generated in an extremely secure fashion, so that only you will ever have access to it. You can verify the validity of this email and the Upvest.co wallet by checking your browser’s ‘secure’ padlock symbol in the URL bar, and by noting the Upvest logo among our partners.

Please note that AR tokens are native tokens, not ERC-20 tokens, so existing wallets (such as MyEtherWallet) are not compatible with AR tokens.

2) Directly reply to this message (quoting this message) carefully confirming your new Upvest wallet address.

Please be careful when copying & pasting this, because this is where we will send your AR tokens. Tokens sent to invalid addresses cannot be recovered.

You can obtain your Upvest wallet address by signing in to your Upvest wallet (https://me.upvest.co/signin), clicking the ‘Deposit’ button, and then clicking the ‘Copy wallet address’ button.

---

Once your wallet is set up and you have confirmed your wallet address, we’ll transfer your AR tokens to it in the next batch. You will be able to see your wallet balance as soon as your tokens have been sent to you, and you will receive an email from Upvest when the tokens reach your wallet.

Thank you for joining us in building a truly permanent public, open, borderless, and decentralised new form of blockchain that will allow anyone to create and immutably store content for our collective future. With your help, we are achieving permanent, low-cost, and truly censorship free data storage for the very first time.

If you have any questions, reach out to us via team@arweave.org, we’ll be happy to help.

Best,
Arweave team

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: September 25, 2018, 09:31:26 PM
In solving these issues, technical analysis and the use of trade indicators will greatly help. Thanks to this knowledge, you will be able to calculate points of purchase and sale. Before bidding, you need to have a plan. You should know at what price you will buy and sell (given that the coin may fall in price - the stop-loss, and what can grow in price - take profit). And don't need to hope that the coin is now beginning to grow rapidly, so you need to sell when the price has reached the previously indicated yourself mark.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: September 25, 2018, 07:12:01 PM
I can't fully agree. I am sure that for the successful trade in crypto currencies, it is necessary to unite different types of analysis. Of course, first of all, with the help of fundamental analysis you need to choose the currency on which you are going to earn. Next, using technical analysis, you need to calculate the points of purchase and sale. After that, given the news background (if there is one), you can start trading.
In general, I agree with the fact that trading only on the news doesn't bring an excellent result, just like trading only on technical analysis will not bring excellent performance.
Therefore, I advise everyone to combine these types of analysis.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading on: September 25, 2018, 06:44:32 PM
If your coins are sold, it means only that you created a order for sale. The coins themselves could not sell themselves. And this is not a matter of luck.
I think you need to deal with the subtleties of the exchange on which you work. There is probability that you are trading in the margin trading section, and you don't realize it. I met several people who traded with margin, but they were confident that they were just trading on the exchange. Then the only thing that helped them to understand, is that from their accounts periodically disappeared currencies.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Panic Trading! on: September 25, 2018, 06:23:24 PM
My trick is in understanding two things:
1. Such a drop in the price is normal after such rapid growth as in December.
2. After the price falls (however long it will last), its growth will occur.

Also, some actions help me. I look at the price for bitcoin only once every 2-3 days, and for other currencies once a month. This helps me get rid of unnecessary worries about the price fluctuation. Also I began to read less crypto currency news.

As a result of all this, I don't think about crypto currencies 24 hours a day. And when I see that the price has once again lowered, then I'm not nervous, because I know for sure that this is temporary.
9  Economy / Economics / Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising. on: September 25, 2018, 04:54:12 PM
Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising and plans to allow regulated crypto exchanges to buy ads in the United States and Japan. The new policy starts in October.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/25/google-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-exchange-advertising-in-us-japan.html

I think that this is a preparation for the reversal of the bitcoin price.

What do you think about it? What are the consequences of these changes?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: September 25, 2018, 04:41:12 PM
The current situation is that now it is a bear market. The essence of the bear market is that the price is falling.
Now everything happens naturally. After the big pamp and grandiose sale bitcoin price remained on the correction. Now, whales are being purchased around $6,000. I think that gradually the situation will begin to adjust in the direction of growth.

And by the way the latest news about lifting the Google ban on advertising crypto currencies: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/25/google-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-exchange-advertising-in-us-japan.html
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth Worth $30. Is it possible? on: September 25, 2018, 04:25:59 PM
I think that you are not the only one who wants this. But think about it, if you clearly understand that ether is an excellent coin and you want to include it in your portfolio, then what is the likelihood that its price will drop to $30? I think you yourself know the answer.
Of course, the crypto market is not predictable and anything can happen, but still the probability of such a price is extremely low, so I would recommend considering buying the ether already now.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with crypto? on: September 25, 2018, 04:19:24 PM
I think that after a rapid growth in December there was a logical correction. Many started selling their bitcoins, so the price didn't stop falling. And at a time when the entire market was picked up by a general bearish wave, large players entered the market, which smoothly led us to the $6000 zone. In this zone, the main purchase is now taking place.
After a while, when the purchase is completed, the bitcoin price will again be accelerated to high marks.
Proceeding from this I would advise not to worry much, after all most likely in the future the price for all currencies (almost all) again will grow colossally.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: September 25, 2018, 04:09:10 PM
Personally, I try to participate only in those projects that are really interesting to me. Accordingly, I get tokens that I need. In the beginning I can sell some of these tokens (if I have a need for money). But in general, most of the tokens I leave.
Based on my goals, I would say that to get maximum profit I leave tokens and don't sell them immediately.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market cap in crash on: September 25, 2018, 03:56:12 PM
We must remember that there are no real prerequisites for the disappearance of crypto currencies. This industry is only gaining momentum. Many rich people accumulate in their wallets huge amounts of bitcoin and other currencies.
Any market has a cycle. Crypto market is no exception. The price will always grow, and then fall, and then again grow and so on ...
Don't let negative emotions influence your mind. If there are no moral forces for daily trading, then just stop viewing the course daily. Take a break. Time will pass and you will be grateful to such advice. Don't give up!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: everything will be ok. trust in crypto. on: September 25, 2018, 03:31:20 PM
This is the normal state of the market. The price keeps rising and falling. Of course, for beginners it is morally difficult to sustain such a drop in prices, as we observe in 2018. And not only the newcomers succumbed to this pressure.
But I would like to say that the fall can't be eternal, but there are no real prerequisites for the disappearance of crypto currency. That's why you should not panic. Keep calm. If you have the knowledge and skills, then in this market you can earn excellent money. If you don't have certain knowledge and experience, it is better to just wait until the situation in the market begins to change.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you still belive in Crypto ? on: September 24, 2018, 10:47:03 PM
Personally, I believe in crypto currency and blockchain technology.  We live in the time of technology development. The world does not stand still. Humanity is increasingly seeking to get rid of unnecessary things, the use of which takes people a lot of time and effort. Therefore, it is only natural that there is development in this direction. Soon we will no longer need fiat and humanity will replace it with crypto currency. For more than a year, rich people (including the governments of many countries) have accumulated bitcoin.
So we stand only at the beginning of this fascinating future.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading? on: September 24, 2018, 10:33:07 PM
Trade can begin with any amount available to you. The main thing is that these are your "free" money (not intended for important needs). Also, I do not recommend taking money in debt.
The size of your salary doesn't play any role here. Everyone has his own needs. You can have enough $3000 per month and for someone $10,000 per month will be small amount and he will not be able to allocate even $100 for trading.

While I do not have credit card debts to pay as I have already paid them last month, I still have insurance I need to pay for the next 5 years. However I do wonder, when people say "use any amount you are willing to lose", how much does "small amount" usually costs?
For me, for example, this was a sum of $2000. I was ready to lose it, because it was not my last money. I first invested $1000, and a week later, another $1000. Given my income and needs for life, I calculated that I can allocate this amount.
If you just want to practice, then buy bitcoin for example at $300. Then try yourself in the trade.
In the beginning, I was guided by the fact that I would buy crypto currency for all the money I wanted to invest and only then I will practice on small amounts ($8-15). At that moment, I analyzed the market and came to the conclusion that it was a good time to buy. Since then, the price of bitcoin has never dropped below my purchase price.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is going to hit 200 USD? on: September 12, 2018, 09:54:10 PM
You don't have to believe everything that other people say. You must rely only on yourself and your calculations. I also didn't believe a month ago that the eth could be $200, but alas, now it is even lower than this mark. The crypto market is very unpredictable and nothing depends on us here. So don't forget that you don't need to be greedy and fix profits all the time, then such price drops will not affect us so negatively.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: September 12, 2018, 09:47:01 PM
Because they are traders, not holders. Every trader panics including most professional ones, they are not bot. If you panic and sell your coin, you might be trader but not definetely hodler.
I am sure that an experienced trader deals with different types of trade. This is short-term, medium-term and long-term trade (the same hold). There is one more separate category of traders that HODLing (Hold on for dear life) Grin.
