Is anyone alive in Cryptomex? I've requested withdrawal over a week ago and nothing....

I will check with CMX and check what the status of the payouts are and with Will to see if we can give you guys another update.

You may be right, but if they had at least taken some time to explain that themselves and stop dicking us around with changing IPO terms and introducing fucked up AML after the fact I am sure we would all feel a lot differently.

Given the events of the last year, it should be obvious that the original IPO terms are no longer viable.  The AML was the result of ID attempting to provide share liquidity while avoiding the fate of Bitfunder & Co.

I agree it is a conflict of interest for the asset issuer to also be the exchange operator.  Ciphermine did the same thing with Ciphertrade, with equally unsatisfactory results which pleased no one at all.

But compared to CipherKate's disappearance, Will and Terra has been very available and forthcoming.  If you need more hand-holding than has been provided, just ask on this thread and it will be provided.

If Will can get us a deal on some sweet Golden Nonce chips/wafers, there is still a chance to turn this thing around...

Just ping out a daily update, even if its "no progress today", and I for one will rest easy

Marc
Will is currently traveling.
I will see if I can get a hold of him when he lands so that I can post an update.

I am planning to send out the last payout on the 1st August, to the people whom have contacted me and confirmed that their addresses are still in their control.
If you have not contacted me, please do as once the payout goes out to everyone it will be final and I will not be held responsible for bitcoin lost to old bitcoin addresses.

Teramining is closing on July 28th. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75802.msg7725015#msg7725015

Should we expect a payout from GBF after the last Teramining dividend?
Yes please do expect a payout from GBF,
I am uncertain on how to do with the payouts due to that I have not verified the addresses and I no longer know if everyone is in control of their addresses.

If you no longer remember which address you have registered, or if you think you no longer have control of the address given please contact me before the end of the month.
If you have not contacted me before the end of the month, then I will send out to the address that I have registered.

Payouts:
We are currently waiting on some changes from the CMX team as well as a new financial report from the accountant who did the last report. Once these are finished we will resume the payouts as usual.

HashFast:
Willem is representing DigiMex on the creditors committee. The committee's focus (and fiduciary responsibility) is to maximize value to the estate. Things are moving along and they're on multiple daily calls. Most everything is confidential at this stage so apologies for not giving too much more information here.

Court records and hearings are public info, various threads give updates on these.
Thank you to everyone posting these here, please keep doing so, it provides value context.

I ran a ASICMINER Pass Through before,
The system works but there are some flaws.

First of there is a lot of manual work, which in turn leads to a lot of errors. I had several times where Transfers that should have been done wasn't done or shares who were suppose to be sent one place were sent somewhere else.
Second a lot of people (several have contacted us being worried about this) are not in control of their payout address, meaning we would have to build a site/routine to safely and securely allow people to switch their payout addresses.

It is just a lot of work and we would rather if we can try to reuse the work put into CMX by the CryptoMex team and use their platform to hold PUs and pay out people, if possible.

As regards to the question about money spent on CMX. No IceDrill money was used to fund CMX, it was funded by the CMX team and external investors.

If we deduce the trade-ins from the original amount we land at roughly 174 Thash in total hashing power.

//DeaDTerra

Can you also let us know how many shares were transferred in - or actually - what are the total number of shares in circulation right now? How much of 174 Thash does 1 share signify?
The total number circulating right now is 13 117 745 shares. So a bit over 13 Million.
150 000 000/13 117 745= 11.4 Mhash a share roughly at this moment

A quick update here,

There are roughly 600 BTC of Bitcoins in our cold wallet currently. (if you want to know the exact numbers please have a look at the previously posted Bitcoin addresses).

I am currently drafting a new Business plan. We are looking to leverage the strengths of the current team, using our knowledge, connections and assets to expand business operations into lucrative and sustainable areas in the long term.

After a code review, CryptoMex have decided to strengthen the base code especially in areas related to security. CryptoMex is finalising beta testing for launch. Bug and security tests are currently being run as well as beta testing. In the current roadmap CryptoMex are looking to release their platform between 19-30 of April

If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

Regarding the negotiations with HashFast, as we are not the only ones negotiation a deal with them we can not disclose any information until a deal has been settled in writing.
What I can say is that we are making progress towards a relatively fair deal.

Wait -- the title of this thread says: 235 TH/s so there's much missing

You should have seen the title of this thread when most of us bought shares.

i remember 500 TH/s with the IPO of 0.00016 per share min.

but like i said a few weeks ago

If anyone's in a hurry to sell any Icedrill shares I'd be happy to talk, btw.
This smells like news.
(Or maybe i would just like some news)
Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #k34NJBdU2gY6d1b7

It seems Will and Terra have decided to do a Hashfast you know take millions of dollars to make an item (farm) then ignore clients questions in the hopes we will go away.

Im sure the next part of the plan will be to hire Tacotime to be an icedrill forum rep,
Followed by offering investors that no longer wish to wait, a share buy back scheme 0.0001 btc per share.

i joke but seriously im losing faith and trust in Will and Terra it shouldn't be this hard to get a few questions answered

I demand to be included in this private chat they have going with the larger investors, i dont see why they get the royal treatment while us little guys get boned.
To clarify,
Originally the plan was to raise money for 500 Thash, we did not hit the milestone necessary for this and decreased our goal to 235 Thash. The money was raised and the equipment purchased.
We then offered a trade between shares and hardware for the people that would rather take the hashing power than shares, 51 Sierras was traded in this way reducing the total amount of shares as well as Hashing power.

If we deduce the trade-ins from the original amount we land at roughly 174 Thash in total hashing power.

Just an update from our side:

We've switched away from solo mining for the time being, and are spreading our hashrate equally between the three largest pools: btcguild, ghash.io and f2pool (discus fish). The change was made about 36h ago, shortly after we mined our 5th solo block.

Small IceDrill mention here: http://organofcorti.blogspot.com.es/2014/04/april-6th-2014-weekly-hashrate.html (great blog, if you're a miner it should be on your list of weekly things to read).

Payout target for f2pool: https://blockchain.info/address/1NJNrRgQL9VDkd78HHDBukoayfcdEy7nwU

sorry to be blunt, but you look like bumbling fools. ramping up, ramping down, going solo, changing pools, testing variance.
this is investor money you are playing with, or have you forgotten this?

they are all excuses to hide a hefty portion for themselves so we only see less than half for ourselves.  it's called embezzlement.
The reason why we switched back from Solo-mining was due to that we didn't have enough of the network mining power and hence had too high of a variance.
High variance is bad for operations as we still have bills to pay that come every month, independent on how many blocks we have solved that month.

You can follow both the Hashing power trail and well as the Bitcoin trail, it is all transparent due to the nature of Bitcoin.
