1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big blocks are worse now than ever? on: September 19, 2017, 05:47:11 PM
Seems very few people participate in technical discussions these day.  Wish a section is created for technical Cryptocurrency discussions..  Bitcoin and Altcoin sections don't have enough of them. Strong discussions is badly needed. Hope something is done about this.

That is what you get when low IQ people start joining who are only obsessed with making a buck or two and dont care about the tech. This forum is full of desperate signature spammers and a bunch of silly teenage kids.

Hardly any intelligent adults are left here unfortunately. I don't even log in to the forum that often because of this, even though I used to post here a lot.
2  Economy / Services / Re: Do you need Referrals? I have the ultimate guide how to get them! on: September 08, 2017, 02:11:16 AM
Even though you don't directly mention this, I am assuming this method is for sale rather than you just giving it away, correct? If so, you really should be elaborating on what this method entails and what is required from an individual before being able to execute this method. Also some sort of guarantee should be given rather than just hypotheticals. I would usually offer myself for a vouch, but given the nature of this product and how I have no real way of testing it out, I will pass on this. I would still like to know if anyone is able to make any decent money with this method by using it with different websites where referring people is required. Also, does this only work for bitcoin/crypto-related websites?

I can give out the information too, but that will cost more. I can't give guarantees, referral behavior is changing depending on the site you use, I can only give estimates based on the sites I have worked with.

Yes this method is profitable if you choose the right kind of website which I can tell if you send me your referral link. A referral should cost you no more than 10,000-20,000 satoshi, so if your referral earns you more than this in commissions, which should be easy, then you make money.

Doesnt have to be crypto only, but I have only tested it on crypto, I guess it would work with other sites too.
3  Economy / Services / Do you need Referrals? I have the ultimate guide how to get them! on: September 07, 2017, 02:09:52 AM
I have the ultimate guide how to get referrals for any bitcoin service, bitcoin website or any other place you want.

I know it's a big business nowadays to get referrals to gambling websites, faucets, or other bitcoin websites. You can earn a lot of commissions from good high quality websites. The big challenge is to get them cheap!

I can help you get a shit ton of referrals for the cheapest price possible that I know of. I have discovered the best way to advertise your referral link for the cheapest price so that you can get the best referrals!

DESCRIPTION:
To give you an idea, I can deliver 1 referral for roughly 6000 satoshi (+/- variance), with a CTR of about 70%, all referrals are human but not all of them might be active in the long term. So an active referral cost ratio might be 10,000-20,000 satoshi. Even then where do you get 1 referral for 20,000 satoshi? It's a very good deal for you  Smiley

EDIT: I got many requests and I dont have time to work with all of them so I rather sell the method now so that you can do it yourself!

PM me if you are interested!
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Big blocks are worse now than ever? on: September 03, 2017, 01:07:46 AM
Now that BCH has split off from BTC, some guys still want to fork again through Segwit2x, I still dont understand how can people be that stupid to do that again, but it looks like it's just another attempt to hurt BTC in any way they can.

As we see more and more censorship on the internet, which is starts to become visible now, they are intentionally pushing for a big block system, where the node count will drastically drop even further.

There are 6295 BTC nodes
There are 1715 BCH nodes (roughly)
https://coin.dance/nodes

And we know for certain that as the 8mb block keeps stacking up, the hardware and bandwidth costs, the node count will drastically drop further.

So we have internet censorship now higher than ever + an unsustainable high blocksize = failure.

I could not have been more comical than this, and this is the worst timing of this happening.

Not only you have net neutrality in danger plus the massive censorship coming, but you also have a rapidly growing blockchain, hardly any merchant support, and the hobbyists who run now BCH nodes could dissapear soon. I won't even mention the, allegedly hundreds of fake free-trial-VPS nodes that they were allegedly caught with in the earlier Classic sybil-attack incident.

To sum it up, to me it looks like Bitcoin Cash will not have a bright future. It's a huge gamble that they are taking right now, and despite the cheap transaction costs, the infrastructure costs just simply make it not worth it in my opinion.

I think the horrendous weather in Texas is a pretty convincing sign. As usual, it will take us going to the brink with it before we face up to the brutal reality. People can be very arrogant and not want to be seen to change their stance on something...even when it's pretty obvious. Sad

Yes i heard that there is a big hurricane problem in the south USA. And this is only going to get worse. Wait until India , Bangladesh or Netherland gets under water due to the sea rising. If you think the current immigrant problem in Europe is bad, wait until 1 billion people will start migrating all over the place.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 21, 2017, 03:24:10 AM
is it true that bitcoincash found first 8mb block ?  my friend is saying that this pump is because of that 8mb block found?
Bitcoin cash recently mined the 8 mb block and that is the reason for this price jump and the rally is going strong and this is the coin which is at the second spot when it comes to valuation and so it is never considered a joke and if they could run successfully mining with 8MB blocks and make things faster then what is the problem with it.
thanks for explanation . i got some questions .is everything same except block size? i don't get it. if it is that simple then why they don't do this to bitcoin?

Hehe, you have inadvertently triggered a tripwire and stepped on a landmine at the same time...

The Bitcoin Core developers and their corporate sponsors, Blockstream, determined that increasing Bitcoin's blocksize would cause catastrophic centralization and break the network. People here and elsewhere argued fiercely about this issue for FOUR YEARS, in a civil war that consumed many peoples' sanities...

Several Bitcoin Core devs tried to launch their own versions of Bitcoin with a larger blocksize, and all were ostracized from the Core dev group, and had their ability to commit code taken away (Gavin, Hearn, Garzik, etc.).

Suddenly, Bitcoin Cash came out of nowhere, and it "just works" with 8MB blocks. The timing of it was perfect because Bitcoin Core forced the network to soft fork to support Segwit, their (inferior) scaling solution that doesn't increase the blocksize at all.

I dont think their corporate sponsors really care about decentralization. Corporations are centralized like hell and they are only in it for the money.

But I agree, that a 8 mb block size will decrease the node count rapidly, in 1 year you will barely see any nodes in BCH, and that will limit the security and the censorship resistance to it. Combine this with the fact that BCH is already controlled heavily by mining cartels, it just shows you how centralize it is.

But I am not against BCH, I think it's a good experiment that is worth the test to see which one survives and adapts better to the environment.

I have measured the temperature, it is 37 °C  (98.6 °F) in my room, I live in a pretty shady area so the sun doesn't directly warm my room.

Outside the temperature according to local heat sensors + the meteorology service confirmed, it's 42 °C  (107.6°F) , the air on average. In sunny areas it can be as high as 50  °C  (122°F)

They have also forecasted 45-47 °C for this week in nearby locations as average temperature. In sunny spots it can be deadly heat.

And this is Europe for fuck sake, not the fucking desert. In the desert the temperature may even be 60  °C or higher.

It's a fucking oven, the skin burns off your body it's so hot.

Yet we see motherfuckers who are denying the global warming, how is this possible?

That's hot for a place in Europe, you should transfer to Alaska or somewhere in the North Pole just to endure this heat. Global warming is a real thing, this is a serious problem that government doesn't want us to worry for.

Very hot.

I remember when I was a kid, we used to play in the snow in winter, it was always a windy, chilling winter with snowstorms.

The temperature could go as down as -10  °C degrees.

Now there is no winter anymore. The temperature hovers around 4-10  °C and there is barely any snow. Sometimes it snows in September but only shallow snow that melts instantly.

It is a very crazy weather.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cryptocurrency to feed the poor? on: August 16, 2017, 09:48:58 PM
Why has nobody created yet a cryptocurrency that will be used to feed the poor? Raising capital now seems more easy than ever. You have ICO after ICO, yet everyone is thinking about making money, but nobody is thinking about helping the needy and creating a chairity.

I think some devs should just get together and create a cryptocurrency that will be used to feed the poor, as in:
  • Either direct money donation, based on ID (kind of hard to do since a lot of abuse could happen if people claim twice, so it must be made sure that people can only claim once)
  • Some kind of food distribution system (I have seen this in many countries), where you work together with supermarkets, that have food which is not expired yet, but close to expiration, to be sent to nearby homeless shelters or needy families. Or a charity center setup in a town where free food is sent to feed the poor. (I think at least food and water should be free in the 21 century). So you can put all the available food on a blockchain, and poor people could claim it afterwards.
  • Clothing, education, basically if anyone has some clothes or educational tools like books or notebooks that he doesnt need he can just put that up to the blockchain, and send it to a poor family.

Wake up guys, this is all possible in the 21 century with the wonderful technology of cryptocurrency. So I think people should do more chairity work too, and not just chase profits all day.

The poor are the vulnerable set of people in the society but feeding them with crypto currency is what I really do not understand because, how does it work?  But there is a way to it in which I think its already in place there should be some form of empowerment for the able poor ones as they can then come back and help the society rather than just feeding them and waiting for them to come for more without any form of empowerment.
Well first we need to fill their belly.

The guys above have said that poor people need jobs. Well yes, but working while starving is not fun. So they need to be fed first before they can work.

You can't just get a homeless guy out of the dumpster and put him into an office to work. First he needs food, clean clothes, etc....

These kinds of things can all be provided by some king of blockchain based welfare distribution sytem.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: August 13, 2017, 12:04:48 AM
I can see it, i can feel it and i believe that it is really happening. I can't even take the situation every 12:00 noon when i was about to go home. Even if I was on the van with good air condition unit. The hit is just over powering it. A lot of people still doesn't care of the result of their actions.

I remember in my childhood there were some hot summers, when I was kid i used to go out and play with the ball with some neighboor kids and my parents always told me to come back home before 12:00 noon because that is when the hottest time it will be.

Yet some times we were still out there, we had bottles of water and we played with the ball, it was hot, but it was also windy, so it was really not that bad unless you stayed in the sun, which we didnt we played in the shade.

But after that so between 9-12 and after 14-17 we played outside, and it was pretty tolerable , even in the sun. This was decades ago.

Now there is like 50 degrees in the sun, you will die if you stay out there too long. And inside the house it's also very hot, 37-40 degrees. It's just unberable.

When I was a kid, it wasnt that hot, but it was also windy. Now there is no wind, no rain, just pure heat, and the thin air that is so dry that it makes your skin boil.

This is very very hard to survive, it it only gets worse every year, and this is Europe, in other parts of the world like south of here it's even worse.

So there is no wind, no rain, thin dry air, this is horrible.

You can't really prove anything by taking your room temperature for a single day, To really prove your point you must have collected the temperature for a long period of time to really ascertain whether there has been an increase or decrease in the temperature over the years.

I remember from memory that there was really never this kind of hot. I remember in my childhood there was some hot weather in the past, but nothing like what is now.

It seems like in the past decades the earth has really warmed up. The droughts and the extreme heat is just 1 evidence, there are many more.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Capitalism Flawed? on: August 12, 2017, 11:18:57 PM
In a capitalist country with 2 million people, all 2 million have the freedom to start a business, innovate, build better things.

In a socialist country with 2 million, only a small fraction will have the freedom to start a business, innovate, build a better product.

Capitalism although not perfect is a superior system for innovation and advancement. This is why russia and china have been forced to adopt free markets of capitalism over time. Its also the reason why venezuela a country rich in oil has suffered by attempting to nationalize toyota and making constant attacks on the private sector under a pro socialist banner which have reduced standard of living to a dramatic degree.

The thing socialism is best for is keeping people from having electricity and modern plumbing the way socialist north korea forces its people to live in an era before electricity was discovered. Socialism is only good for restricting innovation and progress and keeping people enslaved.

That is not true. You only have the freedom to innovate if you have capital to start up a business.

How to get capital?

1) Well either you are born in a rich family ( which most of us arent)
2) You apply for a business loan from a bank

But here is the catch, the bank requires a collateral. So are you willing to put your house as collateral (if you even have one, usually you have that under a mortgage already), given that 90% of small businesses go bankrupt after 6 months or something like that??

Yep small businesses have a 90% failure rate, and then you not only lose your business but also your house that you put up as collateral.

Brilliant isn't it. Now you are a homeless guy enjoying the wonders of capitalism.
12  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: JAXX Bitcoin/Ethereum wallet - DO NOT USE on: August 11, 2017, 08:47:51 PM
Jaxx sucks a lot. The older desktop versions were as slow as hell, my wallet froze constantly when I tried to scynch it, the newer version is a little bit better but still takes ages to sync.

You would expect to sync instantly like Myetherwallet, not sit and wait there 5 minutes. It's just a horrible experience for me.

The browser extension is nothing better, I had a hard time figuring out how to use it.

My experience with it was awful.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 10, 2017, 04:42:45 PM
It doesnt look like a joke anymore, looks like it has stabilized itself in the top 5 position.

But I wonder will it be there 1 year from now? Does BCH have a future?
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: August 10, 2017, 04:40:28 PM
Humans are the ones doing the damage, not religion. Some people uses religion as an excuse in the negative things that they do and some tend to misinterpret the meaning of what they are reading and what their religion stands for. This is due to the fact that no matter how faithful and religious we are, sometimes, the people that leads the church and even ourselves are tainted with our being human and worldly thoughts. Moving on, religion won't die so long as there are people who continues to practice and allow to be guided by religion.

But it's the religious mindset that makes people ignorant lazy and stupid.

Almost every religious person I know is fat, ignorant and stupid. So there goes your stupid beliefs.

I'd say let the religions die, they are a horrible thing. I have stopped believing in the bullshit when I was a kid, I guess I was too smart that I figured out it's all nonsense.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: August 10, 2017, 04:22:19 PM
If you would win a large amount suddenly, like a jackpot or a lottery, what would you do with the money? Especially if the money is coming to you suddenly, unexpected, and you were not prepared to win such large amount.

Let's say you would win something like 200 BTC or more,  which I have seen many gambling websites payout from time to time. What would you do with it?

1) You would gamble with it again, trying to multiply the bet, to get even more money
2) You would withdraw the money, and invest it into some financial investment: maybe some cryptocurrency investment, maybe some fiat investment
3) You would spend it:
    A) Buy a car or a house
    B) Spend it on women or wife
    C) Spend it on your kids
4) Donate it to charity
5) Start up a business
6) Hold it in Bitcoin
7) Other

I would almost definitely invest some of it in bitcoin, a new business, shares in companies and real estate if possible. The rest will probably be used to pay off some bills and maybe go for a short holiday.

Short holiday? With that kind of money you can pretty much retire here, and travel most of the world.

If you were to deposit some of the money in a savings system, while you are not spending it, then it can even multiply itself.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you would win a Jackpot what would you do with the money? on: August 08, 2017, 09:53:32 AM
The last is my fantasy where I'm hanging with a bunch of pretty and hot foreign ladies.

That is very achievable with 200 BTC, just buy a luxury car and you will get all the women you need with it.

Traveling the world is also nice there are many good places to visit, its an interesting world out there but you need a lot of money to travel.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Capitalism Flawed? on: August 05, 2017, 11:54:24 AM
And while you may have some substance behind your claim that the majority of population don't have enough brains (though this is debatable), the technology may be specifically intended to address this issue. In fact, even simple calculators do exactly that, though on a rather primitive level, of course

After all, any technology hinges on making human life better and easier in some way or other

Transhumanism? I havent considered that possibility.

Although I am not sure people will like this idea, that is by definition the extinction of humanity as we know it now and being replaced by cyborg, half sentient robots.

We dont even know if robots can have consciousness, so I am not sure humans would welcome the idea of being "augumented", we have no idea what that experience will be like and we  are familiar with what we know already.

Wait for the 900 millions migrants to arrive and 4 billions africans... it's gonna be fun!

They are fleeing the heat. If it's this hot in Europe, I can't even imagine what temperature is in Africa.

With all the social economic systems in the world, capitalism is still the supreme because several others have failed but capitalism is still standing despite it's flaws across the globe and even countries that have embraced other forms of economic systems have to realize that capitalism breeds individual quest to achieve development because there is a sense that you get to eat from your personal effort or profit compared to doing it for the state or even the community as other economic systems have professed to be the best.

It is better than what we had before, but it still has obvious, major flaws.

So it seems like something better could exist out there that doesnt have these flaws.
