News Source: Money's Edge Article Title: Stanford Set to Launch Bitcoin Course this Fall http://www.moneysedge.com/newsimage?id=400I think it is really great that it is being integrated in university study curriculums. Seems there are a few schools that are/will follow suit with incorporating the study of cryptocurrency. Another positive step toward mainstream acceptance provided the instructors don't exhibit a negative bias.

Africa's Largest Nation Wants Bitcoin Regulated http://www.moneysedge.com/newsimage?id=395Can't say I'm surprised with Nigeria's concerns. The money laundering concern I think was a bit overdone and in some cases unfounded by assumptions.

The report is both an update on the cryptocurrency marketplace today, particularly as perceived by consumers, as well as a look into the future. I like this article as it shows the potential of digital currency and the misunderstanding mainstream society still has with it.

It's funny but with Blockchain doing extremely well, it is nice to see Bitcoin as a whole significantly grow over the last few months. Even the Bank of England is showing a bit of favor toward this digital currency which is a good sign. There are lots of stories around the world of countries considering some form of regulation and adoption and in Greece's case, it could save some of their citizens from destitution.

This story is really interesting to me as it is another step further toward the mainstream. The founder of Virgin believes in Bitcoin yet LOT was the first to my knowledge to accept Bitcoin. Curious to see if some of the larger airline conglomerates follow suit in the years to come.
