1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people do to make their altcoins popular? on: May 13, 2019, 10:25:34 AM
What a coin is used for is not the only criterion that makes it popular. There are other factors.
Marketing is one of the most effective methods of making a coins to be popular and if it is done effectively, it will serve its purpose.
Marketing also without a very solid product will only end up making the coin a shitcoins after the hype expires, the first thing a project needs to do is to polish their product very well, and make sure it meets the quality that will make it to continue to thrive in the market.

if they market a product that is not going to be an acceptable one to the public, they might get the hype from the beginning, but people will not take the project serious and it will result to quick dumping that will make one become a bag holder of the coin, so developers must first pay strict attention to the product the project is coming out with first.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major technical companies and Crypto on: May 13, 2019, 09:56:01 AM
As soon as all these altcoins started coming out, I knew that Facebook and other huge companies would eventualy release their own coins. It's the only logical move for them.
By the way, I wonder why nokia and blackberry is nit taking advantage of this blockchain season to revive their company through cryptocurrency, I guess they have already given up to the ones that are master at what they do i.e Samsung and apple.

If care is not taken, that is how these tech companies that have decided to enter the cryptocurrency market will take over the market and be a master of it to the fullest, in the likes of Facebook and Samsung. These ones already know how to play the industry game well and they are always very successful in whatever they touch.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Sites to use Bitcoins on: May 13, 2019, 05:17:14 AM
I think there are few of them exists and most of them are already here mentioned before. First of all I really love primedice and stake, they are owned by the same company so you can consider them as one place, primedice has been around for over 6 years now and that is a lot of time in crypto gambling space, nearly nobody runs for 6 years without ever having any problems with the customers, usually something happens that makes the casino or even exchange or even if its a forum like this have some issues with the customers about a scam.

Primedice never had anything like that. Stake is basically primedice but with more games so it gets a pass too. Nitrogensports is definitely the best casino out there, they were really old too if I am not wrong so the same thing I said to primedice applies to nitrogen as well.
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: May 13, 2019, 04:43:27 AM
We do not know how much of the current base is because they want to get bet tokens and we do not know how much of it is just gamblers. However considering the fact that even after all of bet tokens are issued and they have owners don't you think there are other casinos out there? Doesn't people play on casinos just for the fun of it without getting anything in return?

I mean does anyone get anything for gambling at primedice? No, but they continue to play there right? So, why isn't it possible that after all bet tokens are issued people would continue to gamble here? They could literally do the biggest marketing in the world with ALL bet tokens taking a cut on dividends to spend it on marketing budget and having awesome promotions. I still think the wagered amount is way too big for how little dividends are given out but that is another issue and not like yours.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook To Announce FB Coin In Third Quarter 2019? on: May 11, 2019, 12:14:50 PM
There has been several rumors surrounding Facebook introducing its FB Stablecoin, especially in recent times. Now the big one is that "Facebook To Announce FB Coin In Third Quarter 2019". see source - https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/113-facebook-to-announce-fb-coin-in-third-quarter-2019

If this happens, I believe it will be the biggest crypto project of the year. or what do you think?

I just hope what you think of what you have read.
How can u said will be the biggest crypto project of the year?
You say that of course must have a reason. Not hearing what people say
They are all judging based on the angle Facebook is coming from as the largest social media networking platform, they thought Facebook is coming to add to the value of bitcoin which I am sure they will not have single impact on the market of bitcoin, because the coin they will issue will be a stable coin, and stable coin can only be used as utility token which doesn’t grow in value.

Also, the coin will be used within their system; they are quickly doing this because of some of the network like steemit that is likely to overtake them through the implementation of a decentralized social media network platform that even rewards its users.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 11, 2019, 11:50:37 AM
I think now is still a good time to buy altcoins and this can bring a good profit if the good coins are choosen and if a bull run will come soon then is the best timing in my opinion.
Is it? To me I feel it is still not yet time to buy these altcoins, they might look low for now but they will still go lower than this in the future during the time bitcoin will go on bull run. Many people usually dump their coins for bitcoin then which we can see already happening in the case of some coins, they keep Deeping as bitcoin grows in value, and we wonder why.

One of the reasons why they are Deeping is what I have mentioned above, people are selling their alts for Bitcoin for the main time to use it to accumulate more values and profits that will make them have access to more alts holdings.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another gambling strategy! on: May 11, 2019, 11:15:52 AM
It’s better to overcome the temptation than to watch all the bankroll fly into the air. For me, trying to recover is one mistake I never make because it’s the fastest way of making more loses. Gambling is a game of luck.

I realized I wasn’t lucky with the game so I had to quit. I tried every strategy I knew, but it just wasn’t working well for me. What I do now is play the game for fun, there are times I win and other times I loose. I appreciate the days I make minor wins and the days that aren’t favorable, I accept it’s my luck and I just feel good because I had fun. The best is just to see gambling as a game of entertainment and stop looking for strategies because there are none that really works,
Yes, you are very right about playing gambling for fun but I am of the opinion that we can still learn good strategies while we play for fun. I want to believe you didn’t get the right strategy. Gambling is more interesting with records of winning. No one enjoys loosing in a game.

If you say gambling is for entertainment and you expect players to just play without the expectation to win, don’t you think it will get to a point they would be discouraged and the game will no longer be interesting. I feel the best is to play for fun and at the same time learn more tips on how to be a successful player, this way the gambler would have great fun.
If you think the poster didn’t get the right strategy, I suggest you make a post where players can learn the best strategy for gambling and let’s see how many testimonies we would get on those who won their games using the strategies. Gambling is a game of entertainment and strictly a game won by luck.

Although consistency, mental discipline and hard work can help a player to be smart in playing but this is not a strategy for winning. Players who apply this would have an enjoyable gambling experience and would as well control loses, while having so much wins out of fun.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome Back to $6k Bitcoin! on: May 10, 2019, 08:14:54 PM
I am feeling happy even though i sold some of my holding yesterday after binance hack . But market showing positive sign even after such a massive hack news still market responding positively means its heading to next big milestone for sure.
Lol, what do you think was going to happen that made you panic sold, you would have just transferred your fund to another wallet if your coin was on bitcoin. There is no way Binance hacking would have affected the market value since it is just 7000 BTC out of the millions of BTC will have circulating.

When I saw that the price of bitcoin had broken the barrier, my first thought too was that people had started changing their BNB to Bitcoin, till I went to coinmarketcap and saw that BNB value was still as strong and firm as it has been, so I believe we just got some new investors who pushed the price of bitcoin to break the $6k barrier.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: May 10, 2019, 07:04:12 PM
I still do not know a single person who would live using only cryptocurrency. Apparently, I hardly ever find such a person. Cryptocurrency will always occupy only a certain part of our financial relationship. We will always need a common currency; not all structures will accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment. I know that many fundamentally will not use it. Cryptocurrency can only be used along with the national currencies of the states and will be one of the non-cash forms of payment, and very specific ones.
That is correct, we cannot completely scrap the use of Fiat in our transactions a we definitely need it to have crypto in our wallet, and so long cash still exist, Traditional banks will still be in existence, but then, when it comes to payment system, crypto can completely replace Fiat and scrap the involvement of banks In that regards.

Although it will be more useful to merchants that uses the service of internet to sell their product or technology devices, the moment all online merchants introduces the use of cryptocurrency for payment would be the end to fiat payment, and for the local store, I am sure crypto POS will be introduced soon that will enable them to make crypto payment without using fiat. So the power of banks over our finances might go down to 10% over time.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes hodlers make on: May 10, 2019, 01:56:31 PM
Getting a small profit is highly recommended not only about profit but how you manage that profit and become more profitable not just hold, big profits are hard to find when waiting for a bullish.
The market is just too volatile now for us to just rely on holding benefits alone, there are so many profits we can take from time to time in this volatile market if we learn how to buy dip and sell high, every time there is a fluctuation.

Holding is not a bad idea too, at least we should not make those who are not strong enough to trade feel bad, everyone can not all be doing the same thing at the same time, but for those who are capable of trading shortly, then Holding is not the best answer to very good profit, we have to use the market volatility to enrich ourselves prior to the bull run.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins to invest before bullrun (if happen) on: May 10, 2019, 01:27:35 PM
There are a lot of promising altcoins that you can invest in, and will make huge returns, you just have to be willing to do your research. If you continue to ask people, they will just shill their own coins for you. It's better you do your own research.
I will advise you to research some altcoins that did very well during the previous bullrun but their prices are presently low now because of the bear market. And you should invest in them, they will go high than their all time high at the top of the market.
I have made this mistake on investing on coin based on opinions and it has really not favored me, I realize that many people are not genuine in their opinions; they just say shill these coins without them understanding the future of the coin, so I do research personally on these coins no matter the review that they get.

For the altcoins that has previously performed, do you think they still got any chance to make it during the bull run again, because it seems to me like all these old projects are already giving up for the newer projects, so many old coins that I have and I have not seen them respond to the movement of bitcoin.

I have been hearing these rumors about Facebook, but none of these news carriers has been bold enough to quote anyone directly from Facebook Team or even give a link to where Facebook had announced their intention to create Facebook coin directly, so I see this as strictly rumor.

I learnt that they were also raising about 1 billion dollars I think for the project and for them to have thought of launching the coin, and then they must have finished raising the fund. So my question is, who raised the fund, what time did they conclude their ICO for them to raise such amount from public, I doubt the authenticity of this Facebook news.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has done it again on: May 09, 2019, 04:46:01 PM
At this moment, the price of bitcoin is a few dollars away from $6000, if there is no correction coming along the way, it likely reach it in the next few hours. Bitcoin started its climb in the first semester of this abd gradually making it to $6k, slowly but surely. I'm also wondering what was really the real cause of bitcoin uptrend this year but whatever it is, the important is that the bear market that lasted for more than a year is already fading...
Of course you should expect a correction, when we have so many short time investors that will not keep their fund in one place and start moving it round in the name of short trade, they are the reason why we are always having this bounce back every time bitcoin tries to break a barrier.

I am not saying they dint have the right over their money to pull it out at any point they want, but they would have just studied the market and allow it to successfully break such barrier before pulling it back. Well after the correction, bitcoin is always gathering momentum within few days from new investors to break the barrier and I am sure it will break the barrier soon.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see another Bitcoin 4 week boom such as in 2017? on: May 09, 2019, 04:13:34 PM
I don’t know about a 4 week timescale but bitcoin definitely has at least one parabolic rise left before it becomes a more stable store of value (which obviously comes with maturity).
Hmm, I can pick that word maturity out there, I think this maturity path is what bitcoin has been following in its recent price movement, and probably why we are beginning to experience slow but steady increase in this price of bitcoin, and I want to believe that this matured way is the way it will stylishly use to rich its ATH.

I think the last bull run actually took 7 consecutive weeks as against the 4 weeks op mentioned. Do we really need to wish for that sharp increase again, this sharp increase is what kept us in the net of the bears for this long. If we go through that path again, the market might not recover this fast again.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: May 09, 2019, 12:31:33 PM
Ever since IEO platform was created because these top exchanges promoting them makes sure they do their own due diligence in ensuring that the project is a very reliable one, many investors have made their ways back to the crowd fundingscheme and still supporting these good projects in establishing it. So ICO and IEO are totally not to be compared.
IEO of top exchanges simply unjoinable for small investors. It is just a game of whales. I agreed with you that IEOs are ICOs are totally different, however, they have common things that they all can be abused by groups of bad guys. Sooner or later, when the IEO wave become hotter (like we witnessed with ICOs in the past), scammers will start their new wave of scam IEOs. Their IEOs are real, everyone can join and buy, but eventually they will make scam exits and run away with not only funds they raised from IEOs, but also from all money of traders stored on their exchanges. Personally, I simply stay away from IEOs of small, strange, and young exchanges. For well-known, big exchanges, we don't have opportunities to join them, so forget them too.
Absolute sense in what you said, if you see many of us that has been singing praises of IEO and hyping IEO, ask any of them if they have ever participated in any IEO, especially that of big exchanges like Binance, they will tell you no.

The cost of buying these tokens on IEO is quite high, and since IEO starts and ends at the Initial coin offering stage, unlike ICO that still gives opportunity for people to participate in post ICO, but there is nothing like post IEO, except maybe these news exchanges that will not meet up the target before the time elapses and will eventually have no choice than to throw it open for post IEO. So if we don’tconsider small exchanges IEO too, then we may never participate in any like you said.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Existing problems totally unsolved on: May 09, 2019, 12:00:59 PM
That is the normal problem of new projects that are listed on the market. If you are a long crypto investor you should know that after the listing it will be a dumping situation and that is the time when you invest. You should hold it for the long term for a better profit. Dumping after the listing is unavoidable.
You are right, dumping is just like a norm now and developers should already be getting used to this, so what their strength should be channeled to now is how to build their product to a standard that will make it continue to have market value and stabilize the value of the coin.

Even if a project coin value is not that high, there must always be at list little increase to show its development, the more their product brings users to buy their coin, the more there will be an increase on the value of their coin, so I still believe that it is developers that has the majority of work to do to make the coin continue to have value after the initial dumping.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 08, 2019, 08:11:03 PM
Is there a way to follow how much my affiliates are buying tickets for? I mean I don't know if I am getting in return for that (I assume I don't) but even if I am not profiting from my affiliates buying tickets (which I might be, once again I don't know) than at least I want to know how much tickets they have bought, that way I can see how many of them active and how many of them are doing exactly what on the website, why they joined and so forth.

I know one for example that didn't deposited anything so far but both got free faucets a lot and gambled a lot so that dude probably gets free money than loses it to the casino constantly Cheesy. I know one that deposited and literally just let it sit there I assume. So I wanna know how much of them would be interested in this one as well.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: May 08, 2019, 07:38:43 PM
I think discussing here with game-protect doesn't serve anyone any service. Remember the public does that all the time and that is where he feeds off from, he doesn't have any rights to ask you any questions at all, you do not have to answer to him at all, there is literally no reason to even acknowledge his presence. He does this to all topics everyday all day and asks for attention and when he gets an answer he gets excited like a puppy and then he answers you back and it keeps going, however if you do not reply back to him then he doesn't have anything to write back to so he shuts up and leaves.

Best course of action for any troll is not giving them the attention they seek, so please everyone if you see him write then just ignore his post, click on ignore as well and you won't see his messages too.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would Ethereum remain the number 1 smart-contract platform in 2020 and onward? on: May 08, 2019, 12:56:47 PM
There is still all possibility that Ethereum would remain the number 1 smart-contract platform in 2020 and beyond that because other named platform are not versatile as the Ethereum network.
I also do not see them dropping this title anytime soon, there are lots of projects that have come after them and tried to copy their system directly but they have still not been able to make them less functional.

Binance launching of their own blockchain is what I thought would be of threat to ethereum before, but I can see that such threat has already been eliminated and majority of users would prefer to build their project on ether smart contract that people are already used to, and the issue of wallet, they cannot change their contract and start asking people to transfer their coins from ether to theirs again.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: May 08, 2019, 12:26:19 PM
I think IEO cheating can only happen in small exchanges but not in with highly credible and high standards like Binance, Okex , Bittrex. If ICO can cheat their collected or raised money then they cannot do it on those top tier exchanges. When IEO became a very successful token sale then that means people trust so you should try investing on it.
I see this becoming very common with smaller exchanges later in future if we don’t quickly control it, exchanges that has not succeed in managing to get volume on their own platform might also be looking for IEO projects and they will end up going away with any project money they generate since they are the ones collecting the fund directly.

It will be a safe thing to do if we just be with these top exchanges, although they are not saint too but they are still better.  In selecting top exchanges, we have to be picky also, since not all top exchanges got to the top genuinely, some faked their volume to get to the top and same way they might fake IEO projects for investment.
