Confirmed no problems sending today. Also - can I pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee get FTP access? PM'ed you. Hi VillageChump. Currently, I can only offer temporary ftp access on a per-download basis. Because the site does not track which user downloads which file, it's not possible to pool all of your downloads in a single directory accessible by a single ftp account. There are other ways to download all the files from the directory though. As has already been recommended, wget or curl are ideal, and there are a swathe of download managers that will allow you to download entire directories too. To be honest, I think I will get rid of the 'ftp on request' segment on the FAQ because it has turned out to be more hassle than it is worth I think. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. Yes it would be best to remove FTP from the FAQ to prevent repeats from people like me. Thanks - also I've noticed great speed improvements over the past few days.

FTP access? Hello? EDIT: Am able to work around current problem (directory linking doesn't work with jDownloader), so I have to use the chrome extension "Link2Clip". With FTP access I can just grab all of the files at once. (Or I can just use wget)

Just a quick post to let you guys know that the btc client crashed earlier on today. If you tried to send payment but could not this is why. It has been restarted, and everything is working fine again.

Sorry you had to go through this - at least it's a warning to the rest of us. I've been looking at a few Bitcoin hosts, but since Bitcoin is "Bitcoin" aka you won't get crap back if you're dealing with crooks. We'll just need to wait for reputable hosting site(s) that exist & accept modern forms of payment to start accepting Bitcoin - not " founded with Bitcoin".

FTP access still available? I sent an email a few days ago but never got a reply.

I asked as well while dealing with a separate issue and I got (what looks to be the norm) "we will pass it along to the marketing dept".
I don't see BTC support coming any sooner then Paypal. But it doesn't hurt to be optimistic and it definitively doesn't hurt to ask for it.

I don't know how many people watched that last episode of "the good wife".
But IF those viewers (typical people, no knowledge of BTC or SOPA) decide to visit this site by googling Bitcoin, it could benefit the anti-SOPA movement.
I think it's only one day - otherwise, it would be preaching to the choir.

Wouldn't try anything with the word "cloud" in it I know what you're saying. The whole cloud thing is a BS sales pitch. I just had to deal with a hosting company that advertised a "never offline" yet a bunch of sites went off line anyway. They claimed their failover failed and blah blah blah. However, I have been using Cloudflare and haven't had too many problems with them. They block alot of known spam IPs and allow you to block things yourself. EDIT: Futhermore, they don't get your server IP directly by visiting it. They would be DDoSing Cloudflare's servers. Not yours.
