1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin Rally Might Be Over as Focus Shifts to Bitcoin on: July 29, 2020, 12:23:00 PM
I don’t think the altcoin rally is over yet. Very selective altcoins have shows noticeable growth in this rising market yet.
Bitcoin still has a strong resistance to break through in order to start with its bull run. And in the meantime, when it stays stable and consistent, altcoins will start to grow. I am still expecting a 20% or more growth in some altcoins.

It’s probably the silence before the approach of the storm. So, I would rather fill up my bag with altcoins which I deem worthy, legit and portentous before the storms arrives.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 29, 2020, 11:49:52 AM
There have been so many posts on the forum suggesting that it is the right time to fill your bag, I quite agree but then, you need to fill your bag with caution. There are so many projects that are dead already but pretending to be alive using the bear season as an excuse for now. The team behind most of them are just looking for a way to dump on you trying to make you understand that they are working round the clock to develop the project, a project they have all the time to develop in the past but could not, now they want to develop, hmmm, what a way to full the people.

The bull run will surely expose all of them, trust me, some of them are smart enough to understand this and that is why they are trying every means to fool making unrealistic promises in order to dump on you.

My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?
That’s true. So many projects listed on various exchanges and coinmarketcap are dead. The team is just using this pandemic situation as a cover to hide their failures. Most of the projects have gone idle and the team is just claiming that its working and the progress is slow due to bear market and covid situation.

But, the truth is they are just sitting behind and watching investors pour money into their dead project. When the time is right, they’ll sell all their holdings and leave the project hanging. Whatever you said in 100% accurate watching the current situation so everyone should play safe.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIMPLE ADVICE TO ALL NEW TRADERS on: July 29, 2020, 10:54:16 AM
TRADING is not something anyone rush into because it's paying people, its something you sit down, read and understand and also learn by doing. To trade furures, no good trader will tell you to jump into futures trading with a small capital and high leverage ,  to be a good trader you need discipline , the same discipline you apply to a 10$ account is what you should apply to a 10k$ account.

That's why we said that trading is not for everyone, because it really takes a lot of preparation not just financially, but you need to be mentally tough as well. Can you take seeing negative in your account? Are you emotional trading? So you need to have discipline and learn to control your emotions, you shouldn't trade with your heard, but used your brain to make logical decisions.
Indeed. People who are mentally strong tend to do much better in trading than people who are just financially strong. Money is of no importance if you don’t know how to make proper use of it. Trading is all about ups and downs and you should start getting used to it before you try to win big by risking big because there is always a possibility that you could lose your whole principal amount.

Patience, discipline, straight head, technical knowledge about the market, smart predictions and quick decisions make a successful trader.

~snip~
Well yes, they are too generous giving a lot of prizes and I guess there is thousands of dollars every week they are going to paid contest and their signature campaign. This is a good initiative of their staff, they are not focusing on getting profit but instead, they give back to the community in the way of having a contest.

I guess the owner of this gambling company is too rich enough. This is how to manage a marketing strategy, they are just like fireworks, the more spectacular big and colorful exposure the more gambler will lure to them and register on the site.

I don't think the owner is rich enough, giving a lot of prizes and promos is just a way to attract more people. There a lot of legit crypto casinos, who exist a lot longer, so you need to stand out and offer something else compared to the competion.

Does anyone has received more information about the new rakeback system? There seems to be a lot confusion about it, but is interesting information for a lot of players  Smiley
I do not think he is a rich person, I mean 100% guaranteed he is richer than me Cheesy. But, I do not think you need to spend tens of millions of dollars into a casino to make it like this. You just spike up the house edge and instead of making 1 million dollar revenue and 500 thousand cost for a 500 thousand profit, you end up with 5 million in revenue and 4 million in cost for a million in profit.

As you can see the latter is actually making more profit, but it also spends a lot more as well, it all depends on how well you can do marketing. They are doing marketing with giving away most of the revenue, however they also do a lot of marketing by putting up ads everywhere as well because you can be giving away 10 billion dollars if you want but if nobody knows whats the point of it?
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: July 29, 2020, 06:40:42 AM
Obviously Macau is one of the global hubs for gambling. But the problem with Macau is that the casinos can be very expensive and not everyone from mainland China can afford to go to these casinos and indulge in gambling. That's the reason why a lot of them look for more affordable destinations, such as Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia.
I haven't been to Macau but I know that they are the gambling hub and alike Las Vegas in Asia. Most of their customers there are foreigners and that's how the economy in that country relies mostly upon. I have a Chinese relative and what you are saying about being practical of them is true. If they have elsewhere to buy, to gamble or do anything with their money in a cheaper way, they'll go on that place and spend wisely their money for them to save and have discounts.
I am not sure how a casino can be cheap or costly, I mean we decide how much we want to bet when we visit a casino, right? So do they have high base bets or do they charge high service fees or something? I'm sorry but I haven't been to such casinos and I have no idea how to they operate but would like to know why some casinos are considered as cheap while some more royal and costly.

Maybe because I am gambling in online casinos mostly that is the reason I am not versed with how real casinos work and if they charge particular fees for giving you a table or if they charge some fees just to visit the casino.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 28, 2020, 08:06:22 PM
I loved it when the leagues came back and we watched some amazing games and great teams as well but it wasn't nowhere near this level, at this level teams play a lot better plus we are talking about best teams of each league going against each other as well. Weird that Napoli is still in and that is the only team that wasn't good in their own league, but aside from that we are talking about champions and seconds of league mostly and that will be 100% surely a great game.

It is weird that Liverpool, a team who got 99 points in premier freaking league won't be in and I was expecting to see them a lot in later stages, but elimination does that to people. Let's see now when the best teams plays versus the best teams, it will be better for betting and watching for sure.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: July 28, 2020, 06:48:02 PM
Biden is right about facebook and there should be something done about them but doing that before an election is quite risky. Normally if I were him I would just say that he likes Mark Zuckerberg and there is a problem that they need to fix but they are working on that and I would say if I become a president I would sit down with Mark and will help him overcome this issue and government could lend help with anything they need to fix this problem and so forth.

That way you are both saying it is not Mark's fault even though it is, and you are also saying that you see the problem and you will fix the problem, you are not ignoring it, while also not making facebook and mark a monster. Now that he said these things which are all true, mark will be on full force attack, try to ban or diminish all anti-trump and pro-biden things and will try to publish all anti-biden and pro-trump things.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 28, 2020, 03:39:33 PM
Every game is better when you are winning. One thing is assured that you can't beat the house edge, so you are now winning for your good luck only, sooner or later the sakes with red will follow. If only then you can control yourself then you will be the winner whether its a slot or a dice.

But we need to remember that not all games we can win because we need to have luck in gambling games, which is the important thing that we must have. We can be hard to win in the gambling games, and if we force to still playing gambling, I am afraid that the result will not be good for us because we can lose all of the money we have. It will be difficult to beat the house because they will have a way to prevent that, and in the end, the house will take your money without mercy.
That is what he also said in simpler words though, that you might win when you have some luck going for you but once the luck runs out you are going to get busted in no time.

We are basically discussing if dice is a better gamer or are slots better and more popular. If you ask my opinion, slots are much more famous than dice in the non-crypto world because outside the crypto casino I have never seen dice games like this anywhere so since most/all of the gamblers replying here are crypto gamblers they are voting for dice but actually slots are way more popular.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please stop betting with 1xBET scam! You have been warned. on: July 17, 2019, 06:17:06 AM
You know one thing, the site might be good but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t end up having some problem with some of their customers, so every site has complaints about them. And as for keeping the money that are being won by their players…  why do I always feel like every gambling site is guilty of this particular thing, but it is all about who does it the most? If not every of them, then about 90% of them are guilty of doing this particular thing, to be sincere. When players win big money that it too much for their account, they will refuse to pay it out to the player. There are winnings that a player can make and if the gambling site pays that amount to the player they might go bankrupt, lol.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: July 13, 2019, 06:36:24 AM
Hey guys how you doing, hope y'all well.
I run a Pop-up Coffee Bar inside the Record Store in Camden / London.

Yesterday I announced that I accept Bitcoin for your caffeine fix:

https://twitter.com/Coffee_Tune/status/1100734272120475651?s=19

To make most of it I need a good list of Bitcoin Merchant Directories where I can add my business.

I added my business in few of them but I need much more. If you have a y link or any handy list, please share. Have a good one!

That’s really nice, it’s not everyone that can do such a thing, you have really tried in doing this. But one thing I’d like to let you know is that you’re going to be careful, because you know that the price of Bitcoin is not like fiat that is mainly stable, so you should be checking on your coins to know when the price starts to fall and why I’m saying this is because you will be needing those money you are paid to buy the things you will need to continue you’re business the next day. So you will have to be checking in on it and know what is happening, so that you don’t abandon the money and it will end up losing value. Unless you plan to hodl it.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Northeast Asian messenger apps doing blockchain business on: July 12, 2019, 09:48:48 AM
country/Messenger/Blockchain Business

Japan  >    Line    > Linkchain

Korea  >   Kakao  > Klaytn(operated by Ground X)

China  >  WeChat >  Huh? Huh Huh
Eeehm you forgot that China no longer supports this Blockchain of a thing and have even banned everything that has to do with the Blockchain and cryptocurrency… or am I wrong? That’s what I know. Line is making use of the Blockchain, but WeChat already has a system integrated in it that allows users to send and receive payments right from the app and that is called WePay, maybe you should check it out. This WePay is already popular among WeChat users and I don’t think they will have any plans to addany other thing to it.. Unless their government happens to lift the crypto ban, then they might decide to go for it.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I GOT BURNT TODAY on: July 11, 2019, 11:37:32 AM
not only  you many would have done that , hope you didnt lose much , this is what will add to your experience , do not repeat it only enter when risk suits , at peak risk will be more
At peak risk is less because you sell and get out with fiat. Then you are just going to watch a crash happen and laugh about it because you were wise enough to sell. The ones who will be crying are those who get euphoric with every rise and they think that it is going to be there forever. The forget the logic that selling pressure would soon strike and take slash out the price pump.

I think he OP has made a profit by now and not seeing him answer the posts here makes me think that this topic can be closed now since it is becoming a shitposting haven.
Would you invest in bitcoin at $11000 and sell at $11500, knowing well that it can appreciate further for you to gain more profit? Don’t do like you are a saint, we all fall into this temptation when it happens to us. I am very sure he would have had some increase but I doubt if he will sell his holding yet, I bet he is still watching to see how the value will still appreciate more.

One spirit about bitcoin increase is that we are never satisfied with any increase we witness, there is always this urge and temptation to stay longer whenever we witness a surge in price believing we could get more.Until maybe we see the value of the last ATH. Anyone that has been in the market before to witness what bitcoin is capable of given will always fall for FOMO. There is nothing we can do to change that.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Libra on: July 11, 2019, 11:00:49 AM
I would prefer the bitcoin rather than libra because bitcoin has already good impact from many investors and it is proven while libra we do not know yet if they will success in the future even they are popular from social medias.
There is no project that can fully be trusted when it comes to decentralization rather than bitcoin, and that is exactly what will continue to make bitcoin to gain relevance more than any other coin that can be released, and not even Libra.

Libra might have talked about creating a decentralized system, but I really doubt because I do not see where that will favor them, because the cryptocurrency they are creating is a stable coin that will be more used by their users, and maybe accepted by few crypto users out there that has need for stable coins.

I am not sure Libra coin will be a coin that can serve for investment purpose and many people you see in crypto today other than the utility part of it comes for investment, so Libra may not get much investors.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: July 11, 2019, 09:52:40 AM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.
Well it all depends, because sometimes you can’t even tell projects that are going to be successful in the future… that’s why you will see a lot of people these days they won’t even have patience after receive their rewards they will quickly sell it off, and that’s because they now believe that the price of the tokens will once the campaign is over . That is also part of what is causing the prices of these tokens to drop to a less value. You never can tell man. But if you can tell that a token has the possibility to grow later, then it is best to work for it and hold it.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: July 10, 2019, 07:43:15 AM
Hi guys, where do you think should i put my remaining $1300USD? Any suggestion please? and why?
Remaining? That means that you have already invested in other coins or you are still yet to invest in any coin? I always recommend Bitcoin for anyone that is looking for a coin to invest in. Just like when I had not much money for investment, I still invested the little money I have in Bitcoin and after a while the price went up and got more than what I expected. It’s up to you though, but why I do like Bitcoin is because even if the price falls, there is more chance that it is going to recover. If you don’t go for Bitcoin, then go for the top ALTCOINs..
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Bitcoin Accepting Sportsbooks (with margin/house edge comparisons) on: July 09, 2019, 11:44:39 AM
Betcoin.ag saying they don't use the same provider as Mbitcasino for over 1.5 years now, lol that doesn't make any difference… they made use of that provider… so there is really no difference. And as for Sportsbet.io I have been seeing a lot of complaints about them recently and that even made me to take a break from making use of their website because it seems like everything is no longer as it used… or is it just a normal thing for a site to be getting negative reviews as well? Since its possible that they can never be able to please everyone. But whatever… they should try to up their game… not here to post criticism about them.
19  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Are Reddit accounts worth anything? on: July 08, 2019, 09:19:34 AM
Several months ago, I made two accounts on Reddit. Throughout the course of normal posting, commenting, and replying to other people's posts, one of the accounts has managed to amass nearly 1k karma while the other has a little over 100 karma.

Does anyone know if these accounts are worth anything? Is there an equation out there that lets you know how much a Reddit account is worth based on its karma score? Does account age also factor? The accounts are only a couple of months old.

Thanks in advance. Smiley
Are there any means for someone to make money through Reddit? Cause I'm very sure that Reddit is not like this bitcointalk.org forum. If it was a Bitcointalk forum account (I AM NOT ADVISING YOU TO SELL ACCOUNTS) it would have been a different case and some people would be interested in it especially if it's a high ranked account. At least with a Bitcoin talk account you can participate in high paying bounties campaigns and get paid for your hard work. But Reddit is different there is nothing like that… unless they now do bounties on Reddit!? But even with that I wouldn't advise anyone to be buying accounts. It's better to create your own account and work hard for it and also keep it secured with a strong password.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bearish or Bullish? Here my thoughts: JUNE UPDATE (+POLL) on: July 04, 2019, 10:14:39 AM
Some people are saying that gold is a hassle to transfer globally. Well. You all just forgot that you don’t really need to transfer gold physically, not when there are companies that handles that, just like GoldMoney. This is a company that stores gold for people and you’re able to access it through your account online and whenever you need it physical they can also ship it to you… but that’s not necessary since they do work of storing it for you. But anyway… cryptocurrency is good, but they are different from gold, cause they are electronic and doesn’t have physical forms.
