1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: October 18, 2020, 09:44:01 PM
Soon we will be able to see a drop in altcoins in price and another rise in bitcoin. This will be due to the fading of the hype around DEFI projects and the release of investors into the most reliable coin in the crypto market. Bitcoin dominates because it is the most reliable and does not fall as much as altcoins.
the possibility will not happen because investors still believe in cryptocurrency and bitcoin, I am sure it will be more expensive because from year to year bitcoin will be increasingly difficult to obtain so it will provide a high price. So in my opinion when you look at bitcoins still cheap like this you should be able to buy as much as you can.

The price of bitcoin weakly depends on the complexity of its mining. The price of bitcoin, like many other coins, is primarily the ratio of supply and demand for this coin. Personally, I don't care how much it costs to get bitcoin, ethereum, or anything else. I invest in what I think I am most likely to earn.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity Report Says Portfolios Should Consider 5% Bitcoin Allocation on: October 18, 2020, 09:26:26 PM
5% is not that vital an amount so the suggestion of Fidelity is more on leaning to the safer option or the lower risk option. Bitcoin is not yet very established as an investment option but it somehow suggests that it is quite independent and uncorrelated so those which are trying to diversify their portfolio won't risk much if they allocate an amount as low as 5% to Bitcoin.

It has so much potential, as obviously shown and proven by its decade-long existence, so companies are not really blindly risking their 5% to something untested.

This is just the beginning. Major funds never invest all their capital in one place. They start little by little with low interest rates. In addition, you need to look not at interest, but at the amount of funds invested in bitcoin, and this equals several hundred million, which is quite a good amount. I am sure that other foundations will follow suit.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: October 18, 2020, 09:01:34 PM
Ethereum transaction fees are now down to 38 - 50 Gwei, I know why they have dropped, this is because their network is not full,
and if the Eth network is full then Gwei will be expensive, I heard rumors that Ethereum 2.0 is not a solution to this,
I'm afraid if they don't think about it, Ethereum will be left behind by investors, how?

Now the workload of the Ethereum network is dropping because the DeFi segment is beginning to gradually lose demand from investors. More and more scammers started to appear there, which discourages honest people from investing. When there is no inflow of new investments, the market starts to shrink little by little. Also, the drop in gas prices is currently associated with the weekend, people want to relax and not trade.
gas fee back to normal again while defi hype slowly decrease. in uniswap defi project now lost trust after several projects exit scammed, and now investors clearly thinking to avoid speculation . trading volume and frequence now decrease after many project scammed, investors really carefully to new project in uniswap and i think there is no correlation with weekend.

This is where it all went. Uniswap is not to blame for fraudsters placing their coins on it. This exchange was created decentralized and so that everyone can add their own coin that they want. This is what decentralization is, when no one can forbid you to place your coin on the exchange. It is important to carefully watch what you buy and then there will be no problems with scammers.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 17, 2020, 11:05:57 PM
The best investment strategy is to get lucky by investing in one project. You can, of course, play it safe and choose several projects, but you shouldn't waste your money on dozens of projects. I usually choose one, maximum two. I choose wisely for a long time, because it increases the chances of making a profit and not a loss. And then I get profit most often. I have been on the market for a long time, at one time I made good money on bitcoin, so I have money from which I can cover the losses if something happens and put them into a new turnover.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity Report Says Portfolios Should Consider 5% Bitcoin Allocation on: October 17, 2020, 10:52:04 PM
If you really invest 5% into bitcoin when you are that big of a deal as a company, that is going to change too much in the crypto world. Think about places like JP Morgan or Chase or another huge company like that suddenly putting 5% into bitcoin, thats really not something we should not consider happening anytime soon because we are talking about 50+ billion dollars for a 1+ trillion dollar company and some of them actually do have that kind of money.

We can't just make our predictions based on them making 5% bitcoin investment, that is something far far down the line which is why we should focus on a bit sooner. As long as more companies like fidelity or grayscale or square comes up, we are going to get bigger and bigger because they will buy and hold billions of dollars.

I am also interested in why the price of bitcoin has not yet increased, if such large campaigns have begun to invest in it. Buying so many coins would not be reflected in the price increase. Most likely all these coins were bought on the over-the-counter market, which is upsetting, because I would like to get a very fast rise in bitcoin.

I think that DeFi projects will still show themselves in the crypto market and will be further developed. The momentary fall of some projects is primarily due to the fact that scammers came to the DeFi market, who initially offered very good conditions for investment, which attracted many people who were later deceived.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 16, 2020, 07:41:55 PM
I will say yes this is the beginning of the revival of cryptocurrencies. With the level of the adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology now, anything is bound to happen. I see cryptocurrency moving to the next level in few years to come, so many that are not yet aware of cryptocurrency and it usage will surely get to know about it and probably adopt it for usage.

Now there is another pump in the price of cryptocurrencies. All. I don't see any revival. There are no projects that would shake all the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies. Any pump ends with a dump, but the revival does not end. We have hope for a revival if Ethereum 2.0 succeeds and justifies all our hopes. This will really give a boost to the development of the entire crypto market.

https://www.coindesk.com/fidelity-report-says-portfolios-should-consider-5-bitcoin-allocation

Fidelity Investment have like 1 or 2 trillions dollars portfolios? So 5% is like 50 or 100 billions dollars? That's a lot!

What matters here is not the amount for which Fidelity bought bitcoins. The very fact that such a large fund started investing in the cryptocurrency market is very important here. I am sure that gradually the rest of the funds will go to invest in cryptocurrencies and, more and more, for large sums.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 15, 2020, 10:02:35 PM
In no case. The situation is stabilizing. The wild growth was caused by the hype, now everything will return to normal. Defi will develop, this is a very promising direction.
It looks like there will be less scam defi in the future. The trend is not yet getting changed and people have already started to think the long term development of defi.

So many institutions have already tried to be a venture capital for the defi platforms too.
The hype is over but this time how good the defi will be proven from its development result. it's very interesting to see how the competition will be.

I'm very exciting.

Of course, we can wait and see how events develop. We can also see that the number of scams among DEFI projects will only increase. This is primarily due to the fact that there is a lot of interest from investors in the DEFI sector. And where there are investors, there will always be scammers.
Time will tell whether the bubble is DEFI, but now we need to be careful.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: October 15, 2020, 09:06:40 PM
Projects and investors might have to find an alternative to the ethereum blockchain. But this will not happen in a short span of time, it will take years. There are a lot of blockchains out there which offers better speed and lower fees.

Ethereum 2.0 will make the network scalable, and therefore decreasing the transaction fees in the long run. So this should not fail. There will be delays but I'm confident that the protocol will give much more room for growth.
Yes, I joined crypto with the Ethereum, not Bitcoin, because I liked it more, it was newer, faster, cheaper, but nowadays I shifted to the TRON, because I simply don't want to spend 2-10$ when I need to send 10$ to someone. Although I haven't followed the TRON since it was launched, I switched to it because of lower commissions and higher speed. However, when the ETH 2.0 is released, I'll gladly return to the ETH network.

I have been using TRON for a long time, but I had to say goodbye to this coin due to constant strong price fluctuations. This was primarily due to the behavior of the founder of this coin. I don't like it when people lead like clowns, especially when it negatively affects the people who depend on them. Of course, the commissions of the Ethereum network are very upsetting, but I have high hopes that the new Ethereum network will be launched in November.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 15, 2020, 08:59:26 PM
I still think it is a bit too early to visualize the incoming rise of cryptocurrency but I am certain it will eventually happen soon and that is because the cryptocurrency market is just too volatile. I think the only thing that is drawing back this crypto rise is adoption and regualtion. Once the government adopts and regulate crypto then we will be able to use it in our daily transaction.

The growth of cryptocurrencies has been going on for a long time. First of all, the growth of coins from the DEFI projects segment. You can also hear the news about how the largest banks and funds are starting to gradually invest in bitcoin. This is a good sign. This could lead to rapid growth in Bitcoin.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 14, 2020, 10:16:56 PM
Any investment projects can be compared to a bubble. Because always breakthrough projects in new directions grow very quickly in price. The only difference with bubbles is whether the investment price falls dramatically later or not.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: October 14, 2020, 09:43:44 PM
We'll have to endure. It is very difficult to perform transactions on the Ethereum blockchain now, but nothing can be done, you need to get used to it. We can only hope for the early launch of Ether 2.0 and its new technology.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2020, 07:00:30 PM
Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology

Dafi projects really look up to standard. Especially those of them that are created by ordinary developers. Such projects can bring profit to their investors. You don't just need to pay for projects - which clone other successful projects.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better ICO, STO Or IEO ? on: September 09, 2019, 10:16:59 PM
If the indicator is investor interest, I believe that IEO is better than ICO. Moreover, lately many ICOs have been a scam, not being listed on the market even though a lot of time has passed. That is why the IEO strategy is more in demand by investors today. However, it also does not guarantee that all IEOs will succeed. It depends on many things, such as exchange, market interest, project strength, marketing strategies, etc.

I agree that recently in the crypto market there are a lot of scammers among IСO. However, there were better times when the right IСOs made huge profits, which none of the current IEOs can compare with. And all investors of such IСOs made a lot of money. And I really miss those days.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: September 09, 2019, 09:19:49 PM
Friends, personally am done with submitting my personal information for KYC to any bounty, project or even airdrops. I made this decision after 90% of project that requested for KYC won't make it to exchange. It's so frustrating and disappointing.

KYC is not a good idea for everyone. Not all people from the crypto market participate in bounty campaigns, but everyone trades on crypto exchanges. And I don’t really want to go through the KYC on exchanges, because I don’t know which regulator the exchange will transfer my data to. And why did the exchanges located in offshore need my KYC data?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: September 08, 2019, 10:33:02 PM
I don't think it's like that as long as the cryptocurrency market exists, because that's the reason for me to believe that in the future altcoin will not be as depressing as you might think. If this industry continues to run whether it's good or bad, at least with a market with an ever-increasing volume, altcoin will also have its own function which of course will have many benefits to use.

Of course, the crypto market needs altcoins, many of them perform functions that are not available to Bitcoin, for example, create smart contracts. However, I doubt that our cryptocurrency market needs these hundreds of altcoins that currently exist on it. That is why most of them are not popular.
