1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers➡Group Stage➡1/8➡QF➡HF➡FINAL on: July 05, 2024, 06:39:47 PM
Spain won the game 2-1 against Germany in the extra time.
Germany vs Spain was the best and most competitive match till date for this tournament. The commenter rightly said that this could have been the final but only one team is moving ahead from this.
Spain took the lead in early 2nd half with Olmo's goal, while Germany scored a leveling goal in the last minutes of 2nd half. The first half of extra time had no goals while the 2nd half saw a goal from Spain's Mikel Merino with an assist from Olmo. One red card and 6 yellows for Spain though. It might hurt them in further games.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember Ethconnect? on: July 05, 2024, 04:37:40 PM
It was the largest scam disguised as a cryptocurrency. AFAIR they used to give high staking reward and the prices kept on rising. They were so popular and so much in demand that they stayed in top 5 crypto by market cap in coinmarketcap. They got into legal troubles and when the price started falling and never recovered. They'd have been a successful memecoin if present at current time but they promised being something they were not and hence got in trouble. The growth was so inflated that the bubble was going to burst one day or other.

Wow. I didn't knew there are so many of similar games in telegram. And it's the first time I've tried blockchain based games that are not boring after a while. I guess the solid platform of telegram would provide a good place to build and deploy online and multiplayer games. Just like how Facebook is used as a platform for friends to come together to play games, telegram would bound them even closer with real rewards. I'm already a regular player of Hamster Kombat and I'll like to try other games listed on the thread. Keep listing new games so we won't miss out another rising game.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers➡Group Stage➡1/8➡QF➡HF➡FINAL on: July 04, 2024, 03:56:23 PM

As we entered into quarterfinal things are pretty difficult for predictions but still we can talk about few teams with I have different view here because I am feeling France is much better side, and they can go through into this game with Portugal is still having problems and their attack is also not good enough to score goals against better teams.

With Portugal performance against Georgia and Slovenia was not good enough they fail to score in these games which is big question mark on their attack France is also having problems but still they are able to give best and winning games without any hard work for me in this game we can go into extra time but most chances we will be having France in last four.
If we are talking about attack, then France’s attack looked very bad, at least until the quarterfinals. They beat Austria 0-1, but there was an own goal from Wober, then a draw with the Netherlands 0-0, then there was a draw with Poland and they managed to score one goal, and that was from the penalty spot, and in the 1/8 finals they beat the Belgians 1-0, but so with the help of an own goal from Vertonghen. That is, France reached the quarterfinals but did not score a single goal from the game, Portugal looks much better in this regard. France were originally my favorites, but they are playing poorly, so I would probably give preference to Portugal in this match.

French team is not performing as good as me and a lot of others had expected. They were supposed to be one of the larger team in this tournament but they are barely getting through. The thing with portugal is same, they too are getting lucky at the last moment. The game between them would still be hard to predict.
The best gameplay in my personal opinion among the remaining teams is shown by Spain, Germany and Switzerland. It's sad that Spain and Germany are playing early and one of them would be knocked out, I guess Spain is a better team overall but Germany would have home advantage. Switzerland is playing exceptionally well and their game with England would be fun to watch.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reflecting on Crypto Gains and Losses: A Personal Journey on: July 04, 2024, 01:06:56 AM

Hey everyone,

I've been in the crypto space for about four years now, and I wanted to share some thoughts on my experience, particularly regarding profits and losses. Like many of us, my journey has been a mix of ups and downs.

Looking back, I've realized that my overall losses have outweighed my profits. It's a tough pill to swallow, but I think it's important to be honest about these things. The volatile nature of crypto markets can be unforgiving, especially for those of us still learning the ropes.

Despite the setbacks, I'm still here, still learning, and still believing in the potential of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. I've been focusing on improving my trading strategies and risk management.

The same is for me. Whenever I have a good profit, I go into risking them and lose it all at the end. Specially when its time for the bull.
Not talking about past, I for the last one year of sideways market, doubled the money I put in with grid and swing trades. Almost all of my predictions were right and I was confident about my trading skill. After the news about Ethereum ETF broke out, I was sure there's going to be a price hike on crypto and sold all of my coins to get 5 different pairs of leverage trading. I was not risking it at all. The liquidation price were 20% lower than the price I bought them at. Yet all of those coins did managed to hit the liquidation price on the subsequent price fall and bounce back from that point. i.e. the prices stayed below the liquidation level just for a few minutes. Whether it's my bad luck or what but I don't seem to earn from crypto.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokenomics: how much founder-benefitting premine would you accept? on: July 03, 2024, 04:57:36 PM
A successful no premine coin would always be a good thing but at current time, we can't expect people to voluntarily work for a new project to make a success like the way they did for older coins. A POW coin is out of trend at current time so instead of premine, the developers fund and the team funds would act similar and in most cases are more prominent than they used to be when there were POW coins. In many of new projects almost all of them keeps at least 30% of the total supply for paying developers and the team. In case of some memecoins, they don't take it beforehand but takes a commission for each transactions. I'm not in favor of taking a cut from transactions for the developer but a decent fund to make the developers dedicated to the project is indeed a good idea.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Women's Cricket Prediction & Discussion - T20 & ODI on: July 03, 2024, 04:09:19 PM
The England women has already won the 3 match ODI series against NewZealand Women. In the first two ODIs, Newzealand batted first and made a small target for English women who reached their easily. England is one of the top teams among women team in ODI just behind Australia women in number of ODI world cups won.
On the third ODI, New Zealand are performing better than the last two games already making the highest of three. They could get to a score of 200+ which would be a good target to defend.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distracting Myself from Market Worries with a Shooter Game on: July 03, 2024, 03:14:07 PM
I bet some of us have dreamt about a crypto gamefi project like Modern Combat, PUBG, or at least a game that allows you to have fun while earning tokens, especially during a market downturn.

So, I tried checking out several projects with similar narratives when I stumbled upon MetalCore, a free-to-play sci-fi MMO game where players fight in mechs and vehicles on the planet Kerberos. It features PvP, PvE, crafting, faction choices, and player-driven guilds (Baronies).

The in-game economy uses the $MCG token, and the game is developed by experienced industry veterans. Well, I feel like we all need to calm our nerves during this present market state, and what better way to do that than with a game? What are your thoughts on this?

I too have had a bad experience with recent crypto crash where I lost a large part of my portfolio. It was so frustrating that I left the forum and checking crypto prices for about a month. After the long leave, I joined this forum again and found out about a new crypto based game called Hamster Kombat and now I'm addicted to it. I have played similar types of games in the past and played it days and night without a break, this particular game is same plus it also gives you real crypto rewards. It has been my comfort place for this week. Not sure how long I'll get hooked to it as I can't stay in a game for long.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: July 02, 2024, 06:00:36 PM
It's a huge surprise for me that people needed to wait till the debate to know that Biden is not actually ruling the nation. It was obvious from the first day that Biden has no idea what he's doing and there are other people who controls the power with Biden as a showing teeth.
Trump is not a good choice either but he's a multiple times better than choosing a ghost ruler. The people who rule a country without a face has no moral obligations to the people and would work in benefiting themselves than the general population. Biden is an elderly person who is being tortured through these debates and election process.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto Revolution from Bitcoin to Mass Adoption on: July 02, 2024, 05:01:23 PM
I'm rather surprised that crypto hasn't been accepted as a general payment method yet. The major reason why crypto is lagging adoption is government control. A lot of nations around the world has outright banned crypto and if found dealing in any, they are punished. Bank accounts are and seized and any banks or financial services dealing with it are punished. Even on places that have not fully banned crypto, they have created several hurdles, taxes and requirements to deal with crypto. All of these have created a sense of insecurity in dealing with crypto for some while making it difficult to use it as merchant payment for most.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: July 02, 2024, 01:57:17 PM
Both the game of yesterday were boring at most. France had to fight a lot to get an own goal to win against Belgium. Portugal too was lucky to win against Slovenia in tie breaker. The two teams are not as good as people hope them to perform. Germany and Spain both seems to be better than both France and Portugal. The winner of Germany vs Spain knockout would probably have an easy win against the winner of France vs Germany.
Another part of the knockout is much easier the winner of Switzerland vs England would probably have an smooth ride to the finals.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage👉1/8 on: July 01, 2024, 04:10:11 PM
France vs Belgium would be the most high stake knockout in Round of 16 of 2024 Euro Cup. Every of other predicted teams mostly have won their knockouts. Italy losing to Switzerland was the only instance when a top 10 ranked team lost to a team that's at lower rank than itself.
France currently is at the 2nd rank in FIFA ranking and Belgium at 3rd. 1st and second if you consider Europe and Euro cup. That naturally makes them the top 2 probable team to win the cup but sadly one has to depart today. Considering their gameplay, I think France is showing a much better game than Belgium. They might have a better chance to win this as they have a more balanced team. Belgium has some good players but the team members don't support them enough to create a team game.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Advice: Pros and Cons of Buying Tokens in Pre-Market on: July 01, 2024, 03:13:35 PM
In my personal experience, buy tokens in pre-market are hit and trials and you can never be sure which one would do well and which one would be a disaster.
I have had invested on a a lot of coins in pre-sale or ICO and mostly I chose them due to their popularity or the people or team behind them. I look for one that has a well built website (not necessarily for a meme coin but a website is must), a good following on social media and some organic talk about them. A few of them had been a hit earning good money while a lot of them either jumped a little and never rose again or never even reached the pre-sale price. It's more like gambling than actual investment or trading.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup - 2024 #Cricket Prediction and Discussion on: July 01, 2024, 04:09:16 AM
Indian bowlers also managed to perform very well. Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled very controlled. Moreover, Pandya's bowling was quite good in this match. Almost every player in the team tried to perform well in his position.

Yes, it was a collective team effort but the game changer was the catch. The out of David Miller was such an amazing catch. Surya Kumar Yadav picked it up.
The ball went up straight because David Miller hit the ball onto the full straight and it was clearly gone for the six but Surya Kumar Yadav run fast as he could and picked the catch but his balance was not maintained then he dropped the ball upper and went inside the boundary then after came out from the boundary, he held the catch. This was the crucial catch because if it was missed, it could have been six and the target would have been further reduced for the South Africans.

The spectacular catch from Surya Kumar Yadav is what stole the match completely from South Africa. I was really surprised how he could keep such a creative mind even during such intense pressure. If that ball had gone a little further, South Africa would have won it. Even if Heinrich Klaasen had been on crease a over longer, things could have been different.
India is the champion for 2024 T20 world cup, only second time for such a cricketing force. South Africa too is getting back their fame and the new players might be able to get them a world cup soon. They do a T20 world cup every two years and the next one is not far.

Glad to be in.
The senior member doesn't seem to support the glow code. Is it okay if I use the signature I'm currently wearing which has the glow code removed and the text color changed to black? There's no any other changes to link or fonts.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOME would double soon on: June 27, 2024, 03:22:53 PM
This post of mine hasn't aged well but surely BOME would double the price I bought it at some time in the future. The coin did achieved 50%+ even after I bought it and I managed to sell some of it for profit which I again invested on another meme coin, that too didn't did well on the current bear. More than any other coins, meme coins suffered. I had my largest portion of portfolio in memecoin and that looks like a bad decision now. I'll be working on to readjust the ratio and try to have more diversification on coins in the future.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of enabling interoperability for bitcoin? on: June 27, 2024, 10:09:37 AM
We don't need to think a lot about bitcoin. It's already a huge speculative coin and it's being used in almost all of networks as tokens and are interchangeable through bridges. There are works of using bitcoin's network as the mother network for other L2 solutions.
Bitcoin network itself is very rigid on changes, it takes a huge consensus to make changes on it. Even some highly popular patches and improvements are resisted by the community and I don't expect the community to go through any drastic changes to what bitcoin already is. So it would be better to leave bitcoin as it is and build new systems to solve newer problems and create new opportunities.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your honest stats how much you make profit with meme coins ? on: June 27, 2024, 01:06:13 AM
It's hard to give an exact number on profits through memecoin but in general, at the moment, I have none.
I've been doing long term investment and grid trading on meme coins. Being much volatile and having larger volume compared to the total market cap, memecoins are good for grid trading. I had made some good money through grid and withdrew it in dollars. But on the other hand at current time, memecoins like any other crypto are down than what they were a few months ago. The fall in memecoins had been much larger which has decreased my overall portfolio. I'm actually in loss if we compare all of it to dollars. This is one of the cons of holding large amount of memecoins.
