Hard not to chase the bull on this one. But its just as easy to get wrecked. As other posters said, at least it brought some life into the markets and there is a bright spot

That would be a really interesting thing to be able to pay with any ERC20 tokens but you need to build a system to match the payments on another exchange with liquidity. Maybe try adding new accepted ERC-20 tokens slowly and only the ones which have a large community who use the tokens for various payments. You're trying to do a big project so I guess you will need a couple of skilled blockchain programmers. You also need deep markets and liquidity. The biggest issue with using tokens or crypto for goods is the supply chains are still in fiat. So at some point in the process the coin will have to be exchanged. That kind of adoption is going to take a long time and will most likely be filled a niche currency in the markets that need them. (like the Marijuana coins)

Services are paramount. All the investment in the world doesn't mean a lot if you don't have anything produced from it. The projects that are surviving now are ones that focused on delivery.

We were all noobs once, some of us here have been noobs many times over, as the saying goes, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'
The English idiom "don't judge a book by its cover" is a metaphorical phrase which means "you shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something, by its outward appearance alone".

A nice rounded article but of course there will always be a weak link in the chain, and that link is us, be on your toes at all times and all will be well

This is quite funny, thanks for bringing some humour and jinx to the forum, and above all OP, at least you are being honest about this 'service'

Backup your wallet.dat files delete peers.dat, blockchain files and resync wallet. Sidenote: are there separate .dat files for each address? If so, introduce the known working ones first then in time the culprit can be found - after adding .dats ONE AT A TIME, restart the wallet to see outcome.
Let us know how you get on.

The only way Amazon would accept BTC would be to exchange it to FIAT immediately, these big organisations are not interested in Bitcoin or other coins mass global adoption (yet), but as a form or redeemable payment, then quite possibly yes - but what it would take to persuade these guys, who knows. Oh, and Steam accepting BTC? They do not hold the coin but instead exchange it for FIAT as above. Maybe this is because of the volatile market so as a fear of losing funds, or maybe a deeper esoteric reasoning... #BankingSystem
