1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do the newbies gain the highily professional knowledge in the forum on: June 23, 2024, 01:45:22 PM
From your topic, it's safe to say that what you call "highly professional knowledge" is about performing task to earn in here too? Like joining bounties(when they get to a desired rank), acquiring managerial skills and script writing etc?

I believe he meant the posts they make that are full of knowledge which are what he is calling highly knowledgeable contributions.

Some people need to understand that this forum isn't the only place to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies or understand everything about them. The whole internet is full of knowledge and information about cryptocurrencies, and we can see the craze and hype about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies everywhere but if you ask, most of the people who are interested in cryptocurrencies know nothing about this forum.

So despite the fact that this forum is a great place to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there is a lot of knowledge outside of this forum as well, and those newbies who tend to have knowledge are newbies in this forum but aren't newbies in the industry.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm happy I can finally say something about bitcoin. on: June 23, 2024, 01:26:32 PM
Considering the rate at which Bitcoin is spreading across the globe, it might be globally accepted as a means of exchange in all parts of the world in 10 years to come.

No, it's going to take way more time than that. For it to get globally accepted, it will need to convince all the governments to accept it and most of them are very stubborn and they don't want to accept it or let their people use it freely. The reason behind this is obvious, it makes them lose control because they can't control the network or the blockchain but can only check transactions.

For governments to allow something, they must have complete control over it, if someone is making a transaction, it should give them enough control so that they can revert that transaction if they want to or hold the funds and ask certain questions and have requirements for the sender, and Bitcoin doesn't allow them to have this control, this is why they don't like it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legendary act! First Bitcoin Class in history. on: June 23, 2024, 12:59:36 PM
Wow, that's some story right there, and I have never known about this from back then.

What's surprising for me in this story is that he was invited by the school management to teach kids about Bitcoin because at that time, in 2012 or back and forth a couple of years, people used to be against Bitcoin and they used to think it is a Ponzi scheme or maybe something that normal people shouldn't use. Even after so many years, people were still not much into Bitcoin, it was later that they realized how big of a mistake they'd made by doing this.

When I first came to know about Bitcoin, the mainstream media was doing their best to show Bitcoin in a negative light so that people wouldn't use it, they used to call it a criminal currency and a bubble that could burst any time, and that bubble is valued more than $60k now.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Farmer's Bitcoin Investment on: June 23, 2024, 10:08:25 AM
When you can start with a little capital, of course this will make the assets you have continue to increase and when we see this, of course this will make us even more enthusiastic about collecting Bitcoins and if there are friends in your field of work who will collect Bitcoins, of course You must be able to guide them in collecting and also how to maintain the assets you have collected well. If indeed they can continue to collect their Bitcoin assets consistently, of course they will be able to make a profit when the Bitcoin price reaches its highest price in the future.

I wouldn't recommend that. I believe a person should only invest their money in something if they understand it very well, whether it's Bitcoin or anything else in general, as long as you are just a listener who listens to what others say and believes all of it, you shouldn't invest because you might lose your money with a small mistake.

So people, whether they are our friends, family members, relatives, or just random people, should be told to do their research before they go ahead and make their investments because it is essential for them to understand what Bitcoin is and everything else about it. They should understand the market and how it moves, and all other aspects that are important, only then they should make their decision.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let me take some useful advice from you on: June 19, 2024, 08:44:10 PM
In an era where things, especially digital ones, keep getting upgraded and old information and details get outdated every day, you can't read a book and gain knowledge that is up to date. So it's always better that you focus on gaining knowledge over the internet and make sure you are using multiple sources to verify the information you are getting.

When you watch a video or read something in a blog or a news website, you should search for the same information and double check whether everything said in it is true and correct or not because you can't believe everything you see or read on the internet.

Lastly, try to take your time, don't be in a rush because that wouldn't let you gain enough knowledge and properly understand and memorize everything.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto and not lose it as beginner on: June 19, 2024, 07:53:50 PM
What you said is true that most newbies think that cryptocurrencies are a get-rich-quick scheme due to wrong guidance or a lack of knowledge, and this makes them take steps without trying to understand everything properly and eventually lose their money.

About airdrops, you are right that Telegram bots these days are extremely popular among crypto enthusiasts, there are a lot of projects that are launching their bots and there is a reason for that, they know people will invite others to these platforms and they are getting a lot of subscribers and followers over social media and many of those participants might even invest money in those projects, so it's a win-win for them.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: June 19, 2024, 05:52:18 PM
I would like to make it simple, you should hold onto Bitcoin because it's like digital gold. It's limited, so its value can go up over time. Plus, more people and companies are starting to use and accept it. It's also a cool way to invest in the future of money and tech. Think of it as a long-term game with big potential rewards.

Even though I don't believe that we should only make investments in Bitcoin, I agree that when it comes to the long term, Bitcoin is the only option that seems to be the safest because no matter how good some altcoins are, there are a lot of new projects with a lot of hype and functionalities and people are saying they are going to become successful but you never know, times change and so will the things around, but Bitcoin has proved itself worthy of the trust it gets from its investors.

So when someone thinks of a long-term investment opportunity, the first option that must come in their mind should be Bitcoin because it is trusted, it has a great value and it tends to regain its value even if it loses it sometimes which is a great thing and it is not found in every cryptocurrency.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am begining on a short term investment. on: June 19, 2024, 05:08:49 PM
It would be wrong if someone says that short-term investment strategies or plans don't work because there are a lot of investors and traders in the market who are only making short-term investments or trades and they are earning good profits on their investments because it's all about one's understanding about the market and the practices they need to use.

Someone who understands the market very well and knows when and in which direction it can move, can be pretty good with short-term trades because they will make their trades according to that, and those who don't have enough knowledge about it might prefer long-term investments.

In general, Bitcoin tends to be more suitable for the long term because of its price going up gradually over a period while altcoins tend to be more volatile in short term.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your advice for me as a newbie on: June 18, 2024, 06:00:21 PM
You are my senior and welcome to come back again.

He isn't your senior both in rank and in knowledge, since you have been active and around more than him and you also have a higher rank, just because he joined the forum earlier, it doesn't make him your senior. So you are not his senior because you have managed to gain a higher rank than him and you have more knowledge as well.

OP still has a lot to learn, he joined the forum in 2022 but he never stayed active regularly, and when you are not active, you won't be able to understand how things work around here, if he was active in the industry but just not in the forum, he might have knowledge about the industry, but if he was also away from cryptocurrencies and the market completely, he probably also doesn't have much knowledge about the industry as well.

So, you don't need to make or consider yourself junior to him.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What initially brought you into Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2024, 05:33:18 PM
BTCWhat initially brought you into Bitcoin? and what made you stay?

Just like a lot of other people in this thread, I was looking for ways to earn money online when I found faucets where we could claim free Bitcoin back then, the amount used to be low but it was at least something because Bitcoin's price was not this high at that time.

I stayed because I found it fascinating, I had never seen anything like Bitcoin before, I knew there were digital currencies like USD and EURO used online, but I never knew about cryptocurrencies and faucets introduced me to Bitcoin, and then Bitcoin and its features made me stay.

It was unfortunate for me to not have any funds back then to buy Bitcoin but I have been around since then, and I believe the experience and knowledge I have is enough for me, I have also made a lot of money from this industry, no doubt about that.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you prepared for the $5 wrench attack ? (1000 ETH stolen) on: June 18, 2024, 05:09:24 PM
This is a classic example of why one shouldn't share anything about their wealth and finances with anyone outside their house because you can't trust anyone these days and if you like to show off by telling everyone about how much money you have or how you can keep your wealth in cryptocurrencies, etc. Such people have their ears all around only to hear about such things so that they can find their targets.

I always tell people who are involved in cryptocurrencies that they shouldn't discuss these things with everyone outside, you might feel that it's okay to do that and you might go with the flow and let everything out, even the amount of money you have, and you never know who might be listening and what they might have in their minds.

So, it would never be a problem as long as a person can keep their finances private.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowledge is the New Gold on: June 18, 2024, 03:32:48 PM
This is the reason why before we start anything like trading or any other thing we do in life,we should try to seek some knowledge about that particular thing so we'll be equiped with the tools of it before venturing into it.

That's right, newbie traders and investors need to memorize this line because we often see them venturing into the market without gaining any knowledge beforehand and then complaining that they have lost their capital in cryptocurrencies and blaming the market for it when it's their own mistake for not trying to learn anything about the market before getting in it.

We can't expect to achieve high feats without acquiring enough knowledge about the things we are willing to do because it doesn't work this way. You can't become a doctor if you don't study about it otherwise you wouldn't know what to do, so the same thing applies to everything you do in life, whether it's a profession or something you do for fun, to be able to do it effectively, you need knowledge. Of course, you need experience as well, but that comes later.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits from the forum. on: June 18, 2024, 03:15:04 PM
I would also want to mention that not everything you see on the forum that you'll believe totally. Forum is made up of people and humans make mistakes sometimes. Also some knowledge can be outrightly outdated by the time you had access to it.

That's a good point. We often see newbies making posts in very old posts and necro-bumping them without even realizing that they are old threads probably because they don't see the date or time of the opening post before making a post themselves, and if they can do that, they can surely think what they are reading is recent and this can either be misleading or confusing sometimes.

It's important for newbies, or even for old members, to make sure that they are reading updated posts and data and when they read something, they should always check the data from another source just to make sure that it is true and correct and there is nothing fabricated in it.

It's a good thing to increase your knowledge only towards the positive side because false information reduces your knowledge.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dream! on: June 18, 2024, 03:00:20 PM
I read a channel where people have thousands of bitcoins that have been preserved from old times.

Even 1 bitcoin would solve all my problems, I would close the loan, get divorced calmly, and not listen to screams and swearing every day(

Are you seriously expecting someone to send you 1 whole Bitcoin after reading your story which is most probably a made-up one? If your wife is tired of you being poor then you need to find a way to get out of that, but let me tell you, this is not the way because it is not going to work. Someone sane wouldn't send a stranger over the internet 1 Bitcoin which is worth around $65k by the time of writing this just because they have written some sad and emotional story.

If you are planning to divorce your wife even after getting rich, do it now and start struggling to make yourself better, and then think about getting married again. She doesn't need to suffer because of you not being able to provide for her, let someone else take care of her because the way you sound, it is clear that you don't care about her at all.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin not coin memecoin on: June 18, 2024, 02:28:31 PM
I don't even know why anyone would have to compare ordinary meme with Bitcoin, although I don't have anything against such idea because I believe we are learning every day. Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency and it has the largest market capitalization which is the reason why if Bitcoin falls, it will affects every other tokens in the market. There is great gain in Bitcoin and we need to ahead to invest more so that we can always make good profits from the market. There are people that have made huge profits from the market since day and we should be ready to take such bold steps but it might to hard for people that does not have much funds.

The answer is simple, it's a lack of knowledge that makes them say such things or even think about it because someone with enough knowledge wouldn't need schooling about the fact that Bitcoin isn't comparable with meme coins or even normal altcoins because it was the first cryptocurrency and it's fame and popularity cannot be matched by others.

Meme coins have become a large trend these days because of their nature of providing quick profit sometimes, and this is the reason why new investors entering the market think that meme coins and Bitcoin are from the same category which isn't the reality.

Such people learn these things after they get hit on the head, once they lose some money, they realize what's gold and what's not.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dangerous insights on bitcoin Investor on: June 18, 2024, 10:43:01 AM
To me his wealth is still questionable for him to live large. We all know that for you to earn big from bitcoin alone then you would have invested the part of the world and the parents are of the opinion that they did not finance him on his bitcoin investment.
Otherwise maybe he is into trading not hodling of bitcoin. There he can have such a luxurious life only if he is knowledgeable in the trading.
When it comes to Bitcoin investment, there are many ways we could earn from the market. Even though we are not experienced in programming to build our own app, we can always employ good programmers to do the work for us so that we can make money from. Such app without any fear. There are many reasons we could being wealth to people in the Crypto world but many of us might not be experienced to that level. We ought to invest versatile for us to enjoy the wealth in cryptocurrency.

It's not as easy as you make it sound. Not everyone can create apps or start projects to earn money and besides, even if people try to create projects, if their motive is only to earn money, their projects will barely get the recognition that they want because they won't have good ideas for the projects since they are doing it only for the money and not to serve the community.

People who don't have any of such experience shouldn't even try it because if they spend some money on it and a lot of time, they are going to go in waste if the projects fail, they will lose their money and the time spent will be wasted as well.

Those without experience should stick to trading and investments.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with your crypto holdings and what you do with it on: June 18, 2024, 08:06:43 AM
Cam across this news

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn001yr88zgo

So a gentle reminder is to follow law with all your crypto related activities.

We shouldn't link such things with normal Bitcoin activities such as buying and holding or even trading because these things show a negative image of Bitcoin and news outlets want to do that exactly, they are not in favor or Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies or want them to gain popularity and more people start believing in them because they are basically in support of the governments and centralized authorities.

As long as a country doesn't have strict rules and laws against Bitcoin and Bitcoin holders, one should be fine buying and storing Bitcoin as long as they are not doing something illegal with it. If you are found buying and storing Bitcoin normally and have a reasonable amount, you shouldn't be questioned for that if it isn't specifically banned in your country.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will ecommerce websites start accepting Bitcoin as payment soon? on: June 17, 2024, 04:49:29 PM
A lot of people currently hold either BTC or USDT, do you guys think popular ecommerce websites will start accepting BTC as payment methods alongside PayPal and the rest?

A lot of websites, services, and stores online are accepting Bitcoin for payment, even Microsoft has started accepting Bitcoin as payment for digital purchases on their store and Xbox store and it is one of the biggest companies of the world. So I'm pretty sure that major eCommerce platforms such as Amazon will start accepting it as well in the future.

The biggest reason that I can think of about why they are not using it right now is the regulatory complications and maybe the excessive taxation from the governments for Bitcoin in developed countries such as the USA where most of these companies operate, and they wouldn't want to pay a lot of their revenue in taxes only for accepting Bitcoin.
