I am afraid to say, that the native overclocking is pretty much unusable at the moment.

If you have let's say 60x1080ti cards from 10 different manufacturers. You are able to overclock some a bit more than the others. Even within the same model and manufacturers, some cards simply have more silicon or are better made. Thus, if you have cards from multiple manufacturers or different models on the same rig, there's absolutely no way that you can use different overclock settings for each of them.

If you use clocking profile groups, you can NEVER specify a single card, considering that the matching rule options are way too wide. By setting a rule, you are bound to use the settings for cards that you do not want the settings to be used for. Using PCI Id SubDevice as a matching rule would sort this out.

I have 3 rigs, each 12 cards. All of them are 2070 supers from MSI. Still, some can be pushed more than the others. There's literally no way that I can overclock each card on each rig separately and make the settings stick after the reboot.

I also do not understand the necessity of using overclocking profiles. Sure, it's a nice feature to have, but why there simply isn't an option to just overclock the rig, each card however you want, save it, check an option to apply everytime the miner starts and be done with it.

Instead you have to overclock it, save profile and then apply profile in different menu. This way it takes much more time, complicates everything and after a few months you are stuck with hundreds of overclocking profiles and it's simply a mess. And even that profile doesn't apply to the entire rig, merely to 1 card.

I really don't get it.

Then why don't you use MSI afterburner and overclock each card individually there? Save it and use apply on startup and be done with it.
You don't need to use Awesome Miner to overclock. I really don't see the problem...

You can't overclock each card separately if you have 12 card rigs. Limit with Afterburner is 8 I believe.

Also, it's always better to use a native overclocking, rather than rely on third party software.

I just do not see why it's so unnecessarily complicated, and to huge extent non functional, with Awesome Miner.

Not to mention, try installing Afterburner and setting up remote server on 100 rigs for example. You would hit your head against the wall repeatedly after 30.

For bigger operations you simply want to have the ability to use native overclock. All the competitors have that easily sorted out really.

I ma having issues with the native overclocking. Thing is, that when I change the overclocking settings for a certain rig, let's say 6 cards, after the reboot, the settings are back to default settings.

I tried to change to native without admin privileges, tried to save the profile, still, after the reboot, everything back to default.

Is there any way to make the settings actually stick?

Well I have been holding ICN for quite some time, but after these news, there is simply no incentive to hold ICN long term and now it's on its way to become another pump and dump (not coin) asset. Basically, after these news, it's not even an asset when I think about it.

Changing the fundamental characteristic of the entire business mid-flight is very very very bad sign. It was obvious from the beginning, that dividens might be problematic, but it took X months to figure it out? Nah. Also, what incentive is there for big investors now? Not much.

My opinion is shared here in the top voted comment - https://www.reddit.com/r/ICONOMI/comments/620clj/iconomi_introduces_repayment_programme/  It wasn't written by me, but I relate to it 100%.

Anyways, good luck to those of you still holding, there's plenty of money to be made for sure, but there are better opportunities out there, especially now with bear market. I may regret this eventually, but at the moment I believe it's a correct decision.

Good luck all of you!

Beta has been running for weeks now, for some selected users. Good morning.

Anyone got any proof of this delay that's being mentioned?

It's not a delay. Platform was not promised to be released in Q1 in the first place.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 21, 2017, 07:58:01 PM
Release is this week guys. Jani said so on slack.

Don't miss out

Not exactly what I am seeing here - http://imgur.com/wykgKsp

Imo the news will be just about more people getting invites into Beta, plus info about the progress and some other organizational stuff. Nothing with the platform release. Many people will be disappointed, even though the Q1 wasn't announced anywhere officially so... you know what's gonna happen now.

Let's wait for Friday ICN time  Grin

It absolutely doesn't matter what they announce. Unless the products are ready, ICN market will be just a playing ground for day trading to accumulate more. I have high hopes from ICN team, but not anytime soon. So any dump with intention to buy lower is fine by me.

I have even bigger news, you can invest in ICNP already ! 100 ICN == 1 ICNP
From what I understand there might be only 1 000 000 ICNP in existence.

https://i.imgur.com/Nbyv8Bd.png

Where does this information come from? Who is stijn36? If this is true, this is HUGE!

WOW BIG NEWS!
I missed it.
***

lol this is BEST buyback policy i have EVER SEEN Cheesy
I a m glad that i had STONG hands

I think stijn36 statement is being misinterpreted.

It means if you own ICN you own Iconomi which has assets in Performance funds.
You cannot but ICNP from anywhere. Neither you can sell the ICNP you indirectly own.

Also, not all profits from performance fund be given as dividends. Around 80% (not fixed officially) profits would be reinvested in performance fund.

So, I think, you will never receive ICNP bundled with ICN.

SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FAGGOT.

POLONIEX IS TRYING TO BUY ON THE SLY.

MAKE THEM FAGGOTS PAY DEARLY FOR THEIR ICN.

ICN WILL JIZZ ON YOUR MELONS....TROLLONIEX

Sure buddy. You forgot to take your pills apparently.

That's a close translation Daparski. But I popped it into google translate and this is what I got: "I am upset that Iconomi didn't pump like everything else so I will blame it on the developers"

Stop being militant defenders. Honestly, it's annoying. As I said, I am one of the top 100 holders, so you are not on the right address. And no idea who else to blame? Weather? Trump? My cats?

I don't want ICN to be pumped and become shit coin. However, we are 2 weeks before the release of platform and no promo has been done at all, no big investors buying, just some day trading going on on Kraken and a bit on Liqui. The platform will be useless, if nobody will even know about it. Meanwhile, there has been multiple new direct competitors of ICN, who already got more promo than ICN in its entire existence. So yes, I am concerned and I believe rightly so.

Release of the platform itself won't change anything. There has to be some promo. And by that I do not mean ICN to be added to Polo. That would be terrible at this point and Devs know that.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 18, 2017, 06:54:53 PM
I am quite concerned with the lack of ability of ICN team to promote their product. I am one of top 100 holders, but not exactly too happy with the progress so far.

Sure, platform is not launched for the public, that's fine and I am eagerly waiting for that. But the lack of any kind of promo is terrible. If the team cannot promote the platform when it's 2 - 3 weeks (allegedly) from launch, I don't have high hopes about the promo after the launch. The final product may be amazing, but unless it attracts people, then it's fairly pointless.

Promo is simply lacking, but I will wait with the decision until the platform is released and maybe a few weeks after that.

So far, I am not happy. The lack of ability to create high expectations from the product is simply essential.

Have you seen a penny from dividend so far Smiley ?
Is platform open for public ?

Market value of holding assets have nothing to do with dividends.
Those assest owned by ICN (by us, founders) are worth much more than 1 month ago. That's a fact.
If it's not open to public it still has investments and (present) higher value than e. g. 1 month ago.

Exactly this.

If the assets of the company are worth more than 1 month ago and keep climbing up, yet the price is still low, it's not hard to figure out what will happen in the upcoming months. So anyone who has all 5 together, should be accumulating really hard. The fact that other cryptos are pumping doesn't mean anything at all and we should not focus on them.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: March 15, 2017, 04:00:33 PM
I decided to get into daytrading ICN as I have been watching the price and I think there si money to be made. But I mistakenly posted my ICN tokens to an ethereum wallet on an exchange. I deposited them into eth wallet on kraken. Now I can see the tokens in wallet with etherscan but I cant see them on kraken. Any suggestions? The ICNs arnt lost forever are they?

contact Kraken Support and ask them.

Also you're a fucking idiot for not double checking your wallet address.

faggot

First of all, lose your virginity before you call people faggots.

And regarding the wrong wallet. It wouldn't help him too much to check the wallet address. He just sent it to address for funding ETH and not ICN. They are both Ethereum wallets, so it really doesn't matter too much. As I wrote on Reddit, ICN is an ETH based token, so they are stored in ETH wallets. The only thing that happened there, is that Kraken system is now confused where the ICN tokens are, becasue apparently, they check the certain wallets merely for the token they are supposed to be used for. Support should be able to sort it out pretty easily. Don't be drama queens, it could have been much worse.

Oh and question. Where do you store your ICN tokens if they are not on an exchange nor in ICO account? I woud be surprised if the answer won't be... ethereum wallet.

It was answered at least 2 dozen times in this thread. So maybe stop hodling your balls, try to grab a mouse and scroll through the thread a bit and you will find out.

Literally the shittiest stock out there, everything else is +20% today, ICONOMI is -7%

Then sell and go buy some Doge or other shitcoin. You are apparently looking for some pump and dump crap. In that case, you are in a wrong place.
