Gozzy:  what i and everyone else who has already invested in DIX wants to know is this:

Are the tokens we bought already going to be still valid when you launch the the new version of DIX?

Or is this going to be a completely different token which means our original investment is lost?

As if it means our investment is lost i do not think anybody will trust another version of DIX

Regards

All will be revealed when the ANN comes, sorry for my late reply i've been working on a new and improved logo. I want to make the distribution unique to people that were effected by the old malicious actions of the previous owners yes. I am not asking you to invest, I am going to compensate you for your loss. But it all depends if the community works together to help this project prevail. I refuse to tell anymore about the details for the newly ported network, as it's not fair on other's if i tell you more than them. An ANN will be up by the end of the week explaining what is required to be applicable of the new tokens. Please if you want to reach me the majority of the time, do join the telegram chat or PM me at @xGozzy. I'm not on bitcointalk as much, as i've a day job developing that requires me to communicate with my employer via Telegram.

Hope to see you there.

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DIX on: February 05, 2018, 10:18:02 AM

Hi Gozzy,

ONE SERIOUS QUESTION everyone here wants to know :

Who is in charge of all the Tokens ?  One the FIRST PAGE of these POST it says the

issuer address is "NXT-JKRH-WE3T-7HK2-B73AE"  of all the TOKENS.

so who is this Issuer  and how would you take control of the PROJECT is the Tokens are held by someone else and who might sell them at an appropriate time to cash-out and crash the DIX Assets price which we all had worked for as a community .....

thank you!

I do not know who the issuer is, all i know is that they made a poor attempt at making this project work or have any meaning. If you aren't aware the owner's are long gone, also the fact is that 60% of supply resides in one wallet. So it is clear that the current NXT asset is inappropriate and bares a unfair distribution in relation to the whole community. Our aim is to leave behind the old asset and port to a new network as a token, more information regarding this will be disclosed with the ANN. In relation to your question we are going to do everything that we can do to limit the inital distribution per person, this way distribution will be fair and equal so heavy insider market manipulation will not occur. If you have anymore questions please pop into the telegram and join the community chat.

Gozzy,

e.
Regardless i'm here to ask you guys what features would make a decentralised exchange an enjoyable experience to use, for you the traders. Obviously the main attribute of a DEX is security

Well you have already answered to your own question in there, we all are looking for only one thing, and then a few other kind of stuffs.

Security is the most important thing, BEFORE EVERYTHING, and the "privacy" and the multiple ways of payments are a secondary thing, but i think that we all are looking for a descentralized way to exchange our currencies on a dex, if we can not use a normal exchange.

The Waves DEX or the bitshares DEX are the real ones in where you can take some stuff, i am not talking about copying them, but they are good sources of information.

Cheers for the insight will keep this in mind.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What features do YOU want in a DEX? on: January 11, 2018, 01:04:19 PM
I don't trade much, but I used etherdelta to sell some ERC-20 tokens and it's interface was not very intuitive, it lagged a lot, and it didn't seem to have a lot of liquidity. I'm not even talking about security, because that is not a feature, that is a must for every business, and even there etherdelta failed a bit. If it was hard for me to just sell tokens, I would say it's almost impossible for someone to actually day trade there. So a good interface, an API so that users can make trading bots, and good network are very important things in my opinion.

Yeah it's more of a threat to trader's more than everything else, no confirmation before submitting an order gets people burnt. I know it got me when i was arbitraging from ED, i was in a rush and set down the amount where the price was supposed to be and vice versa. I think i sold 1 ETH for around .001 of a cent, we must fail to learn though.

Yes security is number one, then UI and then finally liquidity.

Yeah Etherdelta is a burden, don't worry 2018 is holding many DEX births alot of which is be utilising the 0x protocol. I've decided not to use it as it's being widely incorporated but instead i'll be applying Zeeplin and Truffle together, which i think will make all the difference. Zeeplin specialises in smart contract security so it should be interesting to see what i can do, truffle make's it more pleasurable and accessible to make apps whilst integrating smart contracts.

API is noted, as bot's do bring liquidity. Bitshare's has API and is doing quite well.

Cheers for the recommendations.

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRESALE] Zenome.io - decentralized genome economy. Reveal your DNA value. on: January 10, 2018, 03:06:56 PM
Very excited to be apart of the contribution this project, i think it completely under the radar as of now. If you examine Encrypagen vs Zenome, ZNA hit's a home-run in almost every aspect. There is alot of hype around Encrypagen and i imagine that will flow towards Zenome in due time, as you guys already have the beta product released. I imagine you've some nice updates coming soon after the ICO, for anyone who hasn't read Zenome's whitepaper please do it is a bliss to analyse.
110  Economy / Trading Discussion / What features do YOU want in a DEX? on: January 10, 2018, 02:54:40 PM
Dear Bitcointalk,

I've only recently found my way back here, after my long journey through the market over the past year. I've taken the time to develop with no previous background of code, i'm loving every bit of it. I was developing for a coin that's found it's way in and out of the top 100 ranks, on a yearly basis. Unfortunately things didn't quite work out and i decided to decline progressing forward with the project, as I wanted to create something of my own. For the time being i've taken on some part time developing, i've been asked to develop a DEX for a upcoming project that had a successful ICO and which is being released to the market in the future.

Regardless i'm here to ask you guys what features would make a decentralised exchange an enjoyable experience to use, for you the traders. Obviously the main attribute of a DEX is security, we've all seen what's happened with Etherdelta's DNS problems. UI is also an number one it needs to be concise, clear and fluid. Some of the other problems i've been discussing with other's are gas compensation and double order's being submitted to the books. I've some other ideas i'll keep under my sleeve until release, but please do feel free to make recommendations as I really want to hear the voice of the people on this topic.

Cheers,
Gozzy  Smiley

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RDD Reddcoin on: May 18, 2017, 09:56:44 PM
People are dumping to buy XVG Verge coin because thats getting pumped right now,
but Reddcoin actually has some cool ideas if you watch the videos posted on their website.

I'm going to hold for now.
Selling at 20 satoshi isn't going to change my life.
I'm buying coins with cheap price if they have a good idea or two.
Maybe one of them hits it big and I get that "jet money, underground money.Submarines and rings, too bad you fucked up dummies."

My bad Redd-ID is already released but if they get permission to work on more social networks platforms thats when we will see much more pumpin'.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Altcoins to Trade/Invest on: May 18, 2017, 05:34:46 PM
Changed my mind!

1. Ethereum
2. Reddcoin

These are to i have just invested in, Reddcoin is sky rocketing and seems like the trend will hold.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RDD Reddcoin on: May 18, 2017, 02:10:36 PM
100% down for this , getting 150,000 RDD as we speak. The trend on the stock chart is looks unstable with vast unpredictable spikes. But from if you observe from longer time-frame it potential looks like it will exponentially increase. Has correlation to that of a saw tooth wave at times.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why i prefer POW over POS on: May 18, 2017, 11:55:29 AM
Both methods are cost effective , as with POW you spend money on electricity costs in order to mine the block which could end up with an unsuccessful haul or successful. With POS it's the same except you use the funds in your possession which is on the line in contrast to electricity costs & mining equipment. As with the POW the more funds you use could result in a larger reward but also bares an increased risk of losing majority of your funds invested in the POS. Someone beautifully summed up POS, saying as it's basically putting your money where your mouth is.

I'm thinking to mine ethereum asap before the POS comes in , save up some coins until the protocol changes over. Then use the vast amount of eth you've stored to result in more using POS system. But also could the ethereum blockchain split again?, this time one POS and one POW! who knows :p

Great explanation. Also I dont think we would have this scaling  problem with POS becaus the miners and the holders are the same party.

Cheers dude took me awhile to spit it out in a comprehensible form :p
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Altcoins to Trade/Invest on: May 18, 2017, 10:31:30 AM
Im thinking.

1. Ethereum
2. LBRy
3. Stellar Lumens
4. Ripple if it drops drastically.

Still learning about the alt coins on the market atm, if anyone could try sell me the idea of investing in one, it would be great!  Cool
Yes indeed ETH is the best altcoin to date, but if you want to invest try to invest coin Gnosis, EDG, LTC, LUN, and GPU

Any traits about them that stand out in constrast to ethereum?
