That's true, at least they'll improve this season and they still maintain to be a defensive team. DeRozan, Ball, and Caruso are the major addition to this team, with their experience especially DeRozan, he can help this team to be more competitive in the playoffs. I am optimistic that they'll make it to the playoffs this season although other teams have already improved as well. They are showing that this team has got the potential and can be a tough team to defeat in future. Yes they are a very competitive team, they may or may not win but I think they can make to the playoff of this season and give a good fight to its opponents. |

You should not pay too much attention to these warmup matches. The management usually give chances to fringe players and the matches are not 100% competitive. In just 3 days, we have the most important match within this world cup, which is India vs Pakistan. Given the fact that Pakistan has lost all of the recent matches against India, they need this win more than their opponents do. And that doesn't mean that winning the match is any less important for India. If they lose, then Kohli will be in a very bad state. Yes warmup matches must not be taken seriously as teams just want to try all the combinations , giving a chance for every one to bowl and bat and hence it is totally different from the real match situation. They're not there yet but if they continue to play such games in the future then they will have a chance like what we have seen in the Knicks last year most of their players have improved a lot. I don't know, maybe if they can somehow win some games throughout the season, they can still manage to get to the playoffs. Anyway, the OT game Boston vs Knicks is exciting to watch. Knick game game of the night for sure. What a back and forth game. Jalen brown hit almost a half court 3 with 5 seconds left. 6 straight made threes back and forth by both teams in ot, back and forth in the 2nd ot, and knicks finally made enough plays. Stressful game 1 to watch but a good game 1 for sure lol. Yeah very very stressful game it was with a lot of ups and downs and it was not easy to predict where this match was going. Do not forget there are many South-East Asians working in that country. Anyways those players are getting paid well and their performance is not that bad at all.
Oman has been importing players ever since the cricket board was formed in 1979. During the last 42 years, they have failed to field even a single Omani citizen in the national squad. So how can you say that in the future they will have "local talent"? I have seen Oman playing against Bangladesh and Scotland. There was not even a single Omani supporter at the stadium (don't forget that the matches took place in Oman). I don't have a problem with the players getting good salary. But they have no connection to Oman. Yes exactly if there is not even a single local in the Oman national team it means local talent is not great there. They are importing players from other countries and pays them some good amount so they come. They need to run some kind of campaign to promote cricket among local peoples. |

I am not sure to claim that Ole isn't suitable for Man United. Maybe we need to give him more time to show his capacity to manage Man United. I wouldn't guarantee his permanence at this point, as I was checking it out and it seems that Manchester United intends to get rid of 5 players and maybe even the coach. Are they: Donny Van de Beek, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard. I don't know if I agree... some of these players cost dearly, like Donny who ended up not showing a good result, others like Martial lost space after the arrival of Sancho and Ronaldo. But anyway, this is the football market. Yes Donny was a pretty expensive buy and his performance was not upto the mark as expected from him. But i think Martial must be given a longer run. I think Manchester United will release Donny for sure as he is already very expensive with a low performance. |
