Yes, it was the adapter, another one worked right out of the box!
Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately still no success, made all settings as written, have latest F6a BIOS, tripple checkd everything. Any card/riser that work in other slot connected into M2 just don't work... Had 2 M2>PCIE, both chippos from China, ordered another model, waiting.

Thank you so much! Should it work with F5 BIOS? After upgrading to F6 i had boot problems... Had to roll back to F5.

|

Yeah, i scewed it. Had 2 adapters, though from same batch, now ordered another one.

Hi everyone, Thought connecting card through M2>PCIE would be easy, but i can't make it work. What i checked: 1. Checked riser and USB cable, seems to be OK 2. Changed in BIOS max PCIE gen - Gen1 - does not help 3. GPU fine 4. Only thing i can not check is the M2>USB adapter. Can not find anywhere in BIOS settings for the M2 port, only thing i can find is NVMe setting, but it just says that nothing is connected. It seems to be possible on Z270 to run card on M2, so either i'am doing something wrong either it is hardware related. Claymore suggestions:
1. Why dont you collect fee 2/3/4 times per day for longer period and not 24, woud be much more effective both for you and miner, both would loose much less shares...
2. Why dont you use pools with geolocation? In EU i always see devfee mins on US servers, useles, high ping and lost shares...

|
Hi everyone, was mining on https://zenmine.pro and noticed that miner was down for few hours, on the miner itself console was running and looked like it works like always, shares was incoming. Restart brought it back on pool. Anyone came into same problem?

Yeah guys, whats the news? Pretty quiet here.
|
|
|
Hi community and devs! So quiet here, maybe because it sunday Joined HUSH as miner, hesitated for about a month but pulled the trigger just now, always liked HUSH unexplainably Devs, maybe if you need any help, have some experience here and there. GL!

Instead of ping you should check whether the port is open on certain IP, probably by using a telnet based services.
It losts connction from time to time, most of the time it is connected. If you are so smart then give advice on problem, if not, just walk by, you haven't been asked for useless "iam so smart and funny" comment ...

To Claymore, any ideas why Manager losts connection to on of rigs from tim to time? I tried to monitor rig, and it is alive, and ping comes trough, what else can be chcked? Thank you!

The other alternative is the open source ethminer program originally made by the eth foundation and improved by Genoil. Its free and exact same speed as claymore.
However it sometimes freezes, and if 1 GPU crashes it stops the entire program so no GPU is hashing until it gets restarted.
Every calculation with my pool/wall measurements i make shows dual more profitable, even with 2+1% +1% DCR fees, at least on my green rigs switching dual/single makes little to no change to ETH MH/s choosing right intensity. Maybe i am miscalculating though...

I never said I was better I never said I could/would/want to develop an alternative I never said he shouldn't get money for his work
Im saying 1% is insane, nothing else.
Im still using it for now but one of my rigs is already testing something else and it looks good so far, really good.
You got me wrong, not talking about you, i meant if Claymore feels his miner is better than competition he charges for it And while we are using it he makes mooney, if he makes enough for new car or two per month then it would be honest to lower rates. Could you PM or share here your alternative?

|
Green team, have you tried 384.94 +v9.8? Stability, improvements?
|
|
|
it is unethical and I wont use it but I consider Claymore's 1% fee to be also unethical.
Why if it is faster than any other miner? IDK how much money Claymores do from this stuff, and it is over the top, lets say 100-200K$/month then of course fee could be altered to 0,5/1% or 0,75/1,5% but still, just business in money world, if you are better then charge for it

Guys, SIA or DCR in dual on green rigs? Or 50/50% what has more potential?
|
|
|
Guys what SIG pool you use, i am on suprnova but see at best 150 out of miner reported 190 MH... not happy at all. Making about 10 SGT per hour at most. Donating 1% to the pool. Suprnova dont' give a lot of stats unfortunately

Hi guys, and first of all thanks dev for the work!!! Seeing great numbers I believe non x64 could be a bit faster, i use prebuild ccminer-skunk-krnlx-80 right now, why - below: I wanted to ask about building, a bit new into this, but will to learn. A have cloned https://github.com/krnlx/ccminer-skunk-krnlx i am in $ cd ccminer-skunk-krnlx in git But i do not know what is next step? I can not find any local files to compile in Project 2013? Where are they stored locally? Maybe someone can guide me a bit? Thanks in advance, and thank you @Epsylon3! Can you PM me your ETC/ETH/SIA? as i will not have SIGT for some time.

So i assume when u switch -dcri, u have to adjust OC ?
Obvious self-answered question Dual mining is more intensive, so yes, lower everything a bit step by step until stable.
