102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] BOYCOTT Bter.com Do not Buy or Sell BTB BitBar on: May 11, 2013, 05:22:39 PM
Perhaps it's Schadenfreude, but it's incredibly satisfying to see that coin you promoted poorly fail. Now there won't be any more poorly written BTB spam.

Exactly, I wonder if there is anyone on this forum (apart from his 5-20 other accounts, as he stated, he has) who takes him seriously.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] yacoin: yet another altcoin. START is now. on: May 10, 2013, 06:50:25 PM
Still think GPU mining is far better.

That's hardly a surprise for a guy with this nickname  Cheesy
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I understand open source software. Do you? on: May 10, 2013, 04:55:43 PM
I kind of agree (beacuse of all the useless copies), on the other hand, there are new ideas that can't be just added to existing blockchain so creating new one is the only option.
FTC, CNC and alike are ofcourse not one of them.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [IDEA] SVMcoin on: May 10, 2013, 04:45:55 PM
Sounds interesting, more info on how to implement such algorythm is needed.

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] - A New design based on NVC PoW+PoS and incorporating the Mini-blockchain. on: May 09, 2013, 01:42:26 PM
My question is, why are you trying to do something you can't do by yourself?
All you have is name, logo and bunch of stolen ideas for your coin.
I don't see any personal input from yourself.
And should I even mention "Reserve amount to be mined and marked in a "special" way"?  Grin
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2 new coins in almost 1 day? on: May 09, 2013, 01:33:47 PM
Yes I think we are already to that point or maybe just beyond it.  Feathercoin got a good response but not sure about what comes next.

Next comes a long list of dead coins in altcoin overview.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RoyalCoin - a new scrypt based coin on: May 09, 2013, 07:51:40 AM
Why do you have early adaptor bonus when the diff is also too low, should be able to learn something from so many other launches already.

I was thinking the same, just this makes the coin just another pump&dump.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] yacoin: yet another altcoin. START is now. on: May 08, 2013, 05:43:29 PM
Who's got the GPU miner? Shocked I need it too.
I'm not getting anything anymore.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YACOIN THE SUPER SCAM on: May 08, 2013, 05:18:21 PM
I dont get blocks, 7 hours mining with more than 200khs and i dont even get a fucking paid, all orphans or nothing.

Drop the rage, there are no guarantees with mining, you should do it for fun, not for getting "paid".
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YACOIN THE SUPER SCAM on: May 08, 2013, 05:09:15 PM
no scam, you dumb, understand?  Grin
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need an energy efficient algo on: May 07, 2013, 10:56:19 PM
For everyone paying for power such as myself. We really need a developer to create a coin that is energy efficient as all scrypt coins take about an additional 20% power/day then SHA-256 which I would never mine scrypt coins if ASIC's didn't ruin SHA-256.

What is the main difference between the 2 that causes the high energy usage? it is just basically because of the need for memory clock?

go for md5, that's quite fast  Grin
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mincoin rises 50% today while feathercoin and chinacoin crash on: May 07, 2013, 03:59:30 AM

*Only 10 million coins total will be generated
*1 minute block targets for ultra fast transactions
*To encourage early adoption block values for first 3 days are :- 500 MNC, 100 MNC, 50 MNC
*After first 3 days block value will be 2 MNC per block until all coins mined which will take roughly 10 years
    *Retargets 2 times a day

I think that's all you need to know about mincoin Roll Eyes
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] yacoin: yet another altcoin. Release in 24 hours. on: May 06, 2013, 09:44:48 PM
Ha ha.. I love how people still think this 'coin' is actually going to not only launch, but ever be worth anything. A freaking JR member and a month old git repo.. oh dear

Even if it's not going to at least i had a pretty good laugh tonight and that's enough for me  Cool
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] yacoin: yet another altcoin. Release in 24 hours. on: May 06, 2013, 09:32:14 PM
