Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.
What are your thoughts?
When we choose to do the long term investment with crypto currency, we need to accept the fact we are taking the risk of lossing. In my own opinion, when you stop holding, it means we are already lossing. So the best thing to do with long term investment is to HOLD STILL because when you stop it, then it may be the end and you will never get back your money. I agree to you. So if you don't want to lose your money then don't stop and continue hold your coin, it's better to wait than let our money gone. Don't think to stop specially now that the market are very down. |

Holding when you are losing money is without a doubt a hard thing to do, but do you think that those people have not been in the same position as you? When I bought my bitcoin I found myself several times in negative territory and like you I was very new to this market and the way it moved, but I was convinced of what I did and why I did it so I held, and now a few years later despite the crash I still have profits. This is why people recommend you to hold because it does not matter that you bought at the all time high, if you hold your coins for long enough and the coins you are holding are good then you will eventually get your money back and eventually you will get profits. Hold is the best thing to do while you are experiencing losing money , because if you didn't hold your coin it's obvious that you accept the fact that you already lost your money once you sell it on very low price. |

I invest in the crypto currency because this market gives more opportunities for profit even though it is unstable and unpredictable.
Yes you can earn more profit here in Crypto all you have to do is to know which coin is the best to buy . And you should know the best time to buy and I see that now is the best time to buy more altcoin. |

I agree with that bitcoin is still on the early stage buy more bitcoins and hodl it for a months and wait for the bitcoin return to the moon.
It's so long since the price decrease and I think we need still more time to wait until the market recover again ,but I am willing to wait even it takes time because patience is the best virtue . |

Yes I think the future of Litecoin will bright like BTC and ETH. We will see the litecoin on the top in the future.

It is expected that if Bitcoin reaches $5000, you can start buying. I think that's the way to do it, for now it's better to wait.

Few still dead now when regulations come, almost 70% of those project will be dead, they are all created for no purpose, and don't have use case to back up the project.
That is the reason why everytime we search a project is we need to know everything, especially the future of sone project there are some project are still good to invest. Just research to know where is that good ico. |

Yes! I still believe that the international currency market has a lot of advantages, especially the NEO project, the project has great prospects and great competitive advantages among other platforms that are currently on the crypto currency market.

What's the point in distributing 2% towards bounties??
Those people will flip the tokens as soon as they get them, and it's usually much less people than it looks like due to multi-account.
Also the quality of the post is very low even for hero and "legendary" members.
If I had a coin I would never ever distribute part of the tokens towards bounties; I'd see that as a kick in the nuts to legit ICO participants.
No one will do bounties if that is for free... 2% is a decent percent to give to participants. getting advertisements with mainstream media all over the world is so expensive than having bounties. then, if you have any coin it is up to you what ever you want to do with it. 2% is good for the participants and I don't see anything wrong with 2% because as long as you will get your coin or token then it's still good to advertise. It is depends to the price of your coin once you sell it. |

I've friends that really get bigtime through mining. Though they'd tell me that mining costs high electricity. And the initial capital is quite big just for the setup plus the maintenance of the miners. But, once setup, good investment is sure except for the monthly cost.
Mining is good but it's for those people who can buy things who need to mine. But if you don't have enough money to buy those things maybe you can try trading first to earn money to buy things you need for mining. |

The current price of Ethereum has returned to last September, and the benefits of the past six months have completely disappeared. Perhaps $300 is a reasonable price for Ethereum, but it must be noted that Ethereum will definitely rise again in the future.

I think the reason of many people on not having having an investment with cryptocurrency is the presence of risk. So if you are going to be afraid on the things that could give you an opportunity to earn it will just give you loss in terms of future and a chance to earn.
I agree. The number one reason why you don't need to invest your money in crypto is it's risk, if you are afraid to face the risk then crypto is not for you, everything has it's own risk and it is depends on the people on how you handle it. |

I quit making airdrops anymore its just pointless and time consuming and you dont get anything serious with it.
I agree. I tried to join a lot of airdrop but most of them don't give and others give free coin but it's not really worth it, it's better to focus your time in something that can give you more. |

There are several bounty platforms in crypto, you can check bountyhive, amazix, bountyhuntter, icobench and also check the bounty section in bitcointalk forum and you can get updates about bounties.
I am always looking bounty at the ico bench and amazix, for now I stop looking ico on bounty section because I always victim by scam, there are so many scam ico that is why we need to be careful and check very carefully the ico to avoid joining scam ,i hope this time I joined the real ico. |

Trading you can start with little money, but to mine you will need more investment.
Also if the energy is cheap where you live, mining is a great choice, as soon as it's all set up, it gets easier.
I agree, if you want to do mining you should have big capital to buy those things you Need for mining but if you are doing trading you can start in small amount but also expect the fact that you earn is also small profit but at least you can start on small amount. |

I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
I think that it would be useful to ask yourself few questions which are relevant to this matter. Does business will stop , does innovation will stop ? ICO will not stop, possibly the pace will become slower also they will evolve because of regulation but not die. Maybe with evolution and regulation , there will be less bounties but ICO will go on. Ico may be continue but I think the possibility to have real ico will decrease because many scam ico are coming and that can be the reason why other people don't like to invest because some of them victim of scam. And if many people will always be victim of scam the investors can also gone and ico can also end someday if that will happen. I hope if you are an investors make sure that you know how to avoid those scam project. Do everything to avoid joining scam ico. |
