101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000? on: February 24, 2016, 02:38:49 PM
I don't think that BTC will be 10k in near future like 2020. Maybe it might be but I don't depend on it.

You should not depend on it at all first the bitcoin is of course unpredictable, and second the bitcoin will never to such high amount its unrealistic, and the last one is that it will be a question if the bitcoin will still exist in that year.
The problem is you never know what will happen, what is gonna do, if it will disappear, its just a step into the dark if you ask me.

Well i beg to disagree. I think Bitcoin has a chance to take on 10k sooner than we think. If you think about it, there are more and more serious players who are getting in the market. Bitcoin is now being taken seriously by a lot of people.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you come to Bitcointalk? on: February 24, 2016, 02:35:11 PM
I came to bitcoin so that I can vet updated on bitcoin news and updates. Unfortunately, I never knew anything to do with signature campaigns until very recently. That means I lost around 8 months being on newbie level. If I would have been active throughout, then I would be legendary now.

Truth of the matter is i joined Bitcointalk for the chance to earn using signature campaigns. But when you're here, you just cant help but interact and actually get involved with topics and talks and issues and what not. Smiley

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 13 ways to watch the price of Bitcoin on: February 24, 2016, 02:26:27 PM
Those tools are very useful, although I try to be a less paranoid about it and just don't follow the day-to-day variations (unless I'm planing to buy or sell, when I follow closely in order to try and get a better deal out of the transaction).

Thanks for the note! Really useful indeed. Although i must admit, bitcointalk is still my go-to site whenever i need to know something about crypto or get updates for BTCs. But seriously though, thumbs up! Thanks for the effort!
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hello Yobit-Spammers or why our Society is so poor on: February 24, 2016, 02:19:53 PM
Yobit is like a whore.

First you feel good but when you realized you will feel dirty Cheesy

Well for now I feel good.
Don't worry too much, it'll change at a moment or another.
Look at the SecondsTrade campaign, they're closing it to make some cleaning! Yobit will do the same at a moment or another.

How exactly did this cleaning thing work out for this SecondsTrade. So basically they will just delete everyone on their roster and have everyone rejoin?
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: February 24, 2016, 02:12:07 PM
no, we are going up now, 40$ rise  in 2 weeks is ok, it maybe be pump and dumb like always, we will see it next week, but no we're not going down in any way, not even close
yes hikes will continue to happen, positive market sentiment to bitcoin is very good. the decline in just a handful, no more than 10 USD.

I am all into this. Some good speculations assume that Bitcoin will grow steadily the coming weeks. Holding onto my Bitcoins until then.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 24, 2016, 02:05:37 PM
It's a yes for me because i always check the price before i withdraw my money.

And i dont want to lose the sudden inflation of bitcoin.

That's true, bitcoin's price is important specially if you have invested your money in it.. and you won't profit on investments if you are not looking at the price..

Price of bitcoin matters or else why all would be wasting our time here, it matters to everyone of us as all wants to make a good money from bitcoins.
If it doenst matter than it will have no value indeed. It has a value and people want it. You can earn some money with it and that is good.
Only you dont know what is going to happen in the future and that is hard to predict because it is a currency.

Yep, it's a currency. So it will be all about the values. Earning from Bitcoins is basically gaining from the ups and lows of its values.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: February 24, 2016, 09:27:52 AM
Price down to $ 420 was quite startled. 1 day to go down that much. how do you think that investing in bitcoin?

For now better to not investing on bitcoin now, because i think the price of bitcoin will keep decrease today. maybe invest back on bitcoin when the price is not decrease again.
yeah agree with you for the current price gradually fall to $ 415. I am afraid that if there are people who panic selling. this time better. stay calm and see. As the volume of the market began to rise. maybe you could start to invest again in bitcoin

Yep, i really think it's a good time to go buy some now.. Since you will be having them now, it will be easier to figure out later what to do with it.
109  Other / Politics & Society / Re: online credit cards on: February 24, 2016, 09:21:03 AM
What are the best offers of the "internet credit cards"? I have an income that would be crap due to my countrys taxes. How can I avoid that and get the most of that money? Should I order a skrill credit card maybe?

Why not you use bitcoins instead of online credit cards. there will bi no fee no taxes while using
bitcoins online.

Yea i was thinking the same thing. But then again there are shops who are still not accepting Bitcoins for payments so maybe that's why he's going for online cards.
110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New documentary about Bitcoin! on: February 24, 2016, 09:19:42 AM
I wonder why early adopters don't invest more in marketing of bitcoin?
They can create flood of good videos and presentations if they want.
Bitcoin needs simple and educative videos for newbies.

Maybe because no one controls bitcoin. They are going to promote it, if it serve  thier own interest but bitcoin is a decentralized currency. Each one of us now promoting it, as we use and earn it everyday.

Yep, it's more of a widespread marketing by people. You have to raise it as your own cause.
111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: February 24, 2016, 09:16:42 AM
yup, it's because of dump, but after every dump comes pump, so don't be afraid, it will rise

That $60 drop was due to the last two bad news that happens, and after a month I think it is now fully recovered and starting to move to where its price should be at this time..  Smiley

So why did the price drop from $450 to $410 now?
For me its just a nature of bitcoin that the price will pump and dump.. Honestly if there's no pump and dump there's no traders out there and we cannot get any profit with our bitcoin...If you see old price chart of the bitcoin the price is not stable but year by year the price is gradually increasing..

I think so. The bitcoin price is very volatile. So any price action is possible in this range. No surprise.

But i really don't think it can really last that long, in no time it will go back to it's usual.
112  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Preparation for taxes on: February 24, 2016, 09:15:17 AM
How do I file for taxes while earning any crypto currency such as bitcoin, litecoin, DASH, etc?

Depends how much you earn and how you use it....

if its a hobby it doesn't have to be declared, if your earning BTC for a living like 50+ a month and withdrawing to your bank, then maybe you do have to do declare.

I've never declared taxes for my BTCs. Does that get me into trouble?
113  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: February 23, 2016, 10:43:11 AM
Customers would use bitcoin because it's totally anonymous , no records , so no one can track you or your bitcoins . Lower fee's make him unique . Easy to send in anywhere in world no need of any kind of verification .

Lol... Learn about bitcoin first dude.  Bitcoin is complete transparent medium Which everyone can see like a public ledger.
Real reason is low transaction fee among other payment method.

Yep, marginalized equality for all. Every nation, every town, every country pays the same thing with Bitcoin.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 23, 2016, 10:40:26 AM
Find some distraction or a hobby or go hang out with a relative. Do something you like to do, maybe it is also cheaper and you also will have a more social life witch much better for your future and health if you ask me.
I think doing other things is the best thing to forget and quit gambling for good.

Pretty much it. There's really no other way to do it. You really need have something to divert your attention to it. While i know it wouldn't be that easy, you just have to give it your best. You will be needing a support group for this. Friends and family you can call on to in case you feel alone and helpless.. Go for a GA version of AA.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: February 23, 2016, 10:37:01 AM
maybe they've hurt because bitcoin, or lost in gambling bitcoin or can also invest with big amouth and lose all lol Grin
bitcoin will live forever! Cool Cool

Haha. Yea, haters really are gonna hate always, aren't they. You can't kill something such as Bitcoin here. Cheers for Bitcoin going on till forever!
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 23, 2016, 10:31:26 AM
The best option is to find some other things. Just do what you like that is the best option. Find a hobby or something.
Everything is much cheaper than gambling. With gambling you only lose some money and that is not good.

Yep yep. You got me on my very same thoughts. Preoccupy yourself with other things. There is no other way to do it. If you can keep your mind off of gambling, then gambling wont get into you.
117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Board games, do you play and your favorites on: February 23, 2016, 10:30:15 AM
You guys ever played Cluedo?
That was fun! But yea, monopoly too!
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manny Pacquiao stands on same sex marriage on: February 23, 2016, 10:29:01 AM
Did you guys hear that Nike pulled out their sponsorship for him. But as if that threatened him. Underarmour readily gave him shoes and vouched for him.

This whole Manny fiasco came out of nowhere. And timing it's nearing national election in the Philippines. Is it just me or i think Manny played this one out pretty well, good endorsement. No such thing as bad advertising, doesn't it? Manny for Senator!
119  Other / Meta / Re: Boards that don't contribute to activity on: February 23, 2016, 10:23:37 AM
Why prohibit giveaways?

No-one's prohibiting anything.
Theymos seems to be thinking about improving the integrity of the ranking system. People will still be able to post whatever crap they like (mods allowing), it just won't feed the spam/sig cycle if it doesn't increase their activity and account value.
There is no downside.

Yep. I think this will benefit most of us. This just proves that theymos is a really hands-on guy..
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: February 23, 2016, 10:21:40 AM
Bitcoin will not go down.

In terms of price, it won't go down much but it will just suffers price dip which make the price in tree shaking status in a duration of days or weeks.

This is the great time to launch your buy to accumulate more coins.

My very exact thoughts, it will drop significantly but that is just about it. It can never get that low and nor be phased out of the market.
