Usually before the gpu dies, the fan would die first.

Google: <GPU_Name> <algorithm> hashrate

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Bitconnect coin on: July 31, 2017, 05:04:39 AM
Bitconnect is on Scrypt algorithm. It is an asic algorithm so you probably don't want to mine on it. In fact, it would probably take ages to mine $1.

If you know how to run linux, get the second one. Windows only lets you do something like 6amd+6nvidia and have to split the mining softwares.

You can just get two big psus or three smaller psus. It saves you a lot
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone know how to mine BCC (bitcoin cash) solo? on: July 31, 2017, 04:45:56 AM
I think the pool is probably just prepared but not running right now.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help with Ethereum Mining. Using Claymore Duel, and I get a DAG error? on: July 31, 2017, 04:41:47 AM
Not only Ethereum needs minimum 3GB of Vram, you shouldn't use a laptop gpu to mine because it could blow up. (I mean not really blow up but it would overheat)
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: July 30, 2017, 10:37:33 PM
UPDATED: Just ignore this, problem solved after reaching someone on slack.

Did I set something wrong?
I started mining with my GPUs an hour ago, it says I've mined almost 19k NXS combined.......
If this is true, it would worth over $16k........  Shocked
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 26 GH/s on single rig Ethereum Mining on: July 30, 2017, 09:13:52 PM
This is nothing new. Here are three possible reasons:
1) You can point all rigs into one worker (or just no worker name at all)
2) You can get hashpower from nicehash which also points to one worker usually wiithout a worker name
3) This is one of the devfee wallet which devfee mining doesn't specify worker name
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - fork of Zcash with harder mining params on: July 30, 2017, 05:10:58 AM
Does this algorithm use more core or memory?
Will there be a CUDA miner?
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 29, 2017, 02:28:21 AM
Why price for skunk cheap then tribus?
Denarius will to the moon? but i didnt see that, market order to low

just hope sp_ from futere hahaha Grin Grin Grin
but im already hopeless, price down 50%  Grin Grin Grin

Maybe because people are stealing his work? From the conversations I've been reading in this post(?)

Two of my rigs keep getting this error: one after about 7 hours, one after 5-10mins.
Both are using the latest driver.
I tried stock setting but it still occurs. Cry
Also tried lower intensity, cuda schedule auto, cpu priority.
This is the skunkmod#3.

Cuda error in func 'skein512_cpu_setBlock_80' at line 1403 : unknown error

Can anyone help?
Thank you!
Don`t use stock settings. Use TDP not more then 90, better 70-80... Undercklocking memory is not necessary. And that's enough.

Of course I would use lower TDP but that gave me the error and that's why I tried stock setting......
I tried both stock memory and lower memory clock, nothing changes.

Overclocking м

I just said I also used stock setting and still get the error so overclocking is not the problem.
Test memory, PSU wattage, bios option about 4G limitation - today I have same problem after bios settings failing...

Memory, you mean ram?
Wattage isn't the problem Im sure.
What is 4G limitation? I've never heard of that. Any links for a reference to it?

You want ropecoin.

The best coin ever Grin
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help me choose PSU for 12 GPU's on: July 28, 2017, 07:36:21 PM
1060's tdp is 120W.
I would say you would be safe if you have 1600W or more since you probably will limit the power draw to 80% anyway.

can u please suggest what brand ?
and i want to buy 2 PSU's not one ..
the guys from the store suggested me :
2x Corsair RM850x 850W PSU 80+ Gold Modular

what do u think ?

I think corsair is fine. I prefer EVGA tho.
EVGA G2 comes with a test plug for 24pin which you don't have to purchase an extra dual psu adapter.
I'm pretty sure two 850Ws are enough and even have rooms left.

My 1080s I have to run with -i 22
My 1080 TIs I have to run at -i 21

1080 FE ~30 MH/s
1080 Non-FE ~34.5 MH/s
1080 TI Non-FE ~45-50 MH/s

Hi, What software are you using?

That is awesome miner

What soft are u using for monitoring?

He just told you, "Awesome Miner"
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WhatToMineBot - Telegram bot - Mining profitability calculator on: July 26, 2017, 07:00:37 AM
Nice work! I'm gonna try it later!
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 24, 2017, 08:16:02 AM
Awesome Miner Development Version 3.2.1 (Preview of 3.3 - Not for production use)

- More flexible algorithm configuration. New algorithms can be defined by user and configured for each mining software.
- More flexible Online Service and profit switching configuration.
- Managed Software can be added and API compatibility can be specified
- Profit switching improvements, including configuration to disable individual algorithms per pool.
- Web interface includes secondary hashrate if available, coin information in smart phone mode and corrections to notification display in multi-user environments.
- HTTP API adds operations on single notifications and includes Group Id information for miners
- Custom e-mail address can be set for a notification action, to override the global e-mail address to send notifications to
- New algorithms added
- Ccminer 2.1 replaces older Ccminer SP-mod
- Corrections to SMTP library to support Office 365 accounts

Important: The Remote Agent must also be upgraded.

Development Previews can be enabled from the Options dialog, General section. Then Menu -> Check for updates.

The main idea of the new version is to be much more flexible in configuration of algorithms, pools and mining software. You should be able to add any number of additional algorithms, add new pools (like zpool and more) for these algorithms, and then configure the mining software to use the new algorithms.

The screenshot belows shows how you can customize ccminer. If you add your own algorithm, it will show up in the list and you will be able to specify the command line argument that ccminer would expect for this algorithm.

The configuration of Online Services, where you can customize the existing and also add new Nicehash/Zpool/MPH pools on your own. If a new algorithm is supported on Zpool, just add it in the Algorithms section first, then go in here and add it for Zpool.

The general concept is to have less hardcoded setting in Awesome Miner, and make them configurable as illustrated below. This gives the power users more flexibility and a better understanding of what's going on.

Awesome Miner won't start after installing the update.....
Update: nvm, got it working by removing the custom coins and algos.

Would you consider adding chaincoin, dgb for other algorithm like skein, and new skunk algorithm for SIGT??
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 9 GPUs in Windows ok, but Miner won't start on: July 08, 2017, 10:56:11 PM
Windows 10 only supports up to 8 unless you mix up Nvidia and AMDs. If you want 8+, go with Linux
