101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 02, 2013, 10:09:45 PM
If I get the units shipped in their current state, that means
1.  No chaining units. I2C not working.  So, can I use a USB hub and just plug every unit in via usb and that works fine?

2.  No bootloader.   So that means that I cannot easily download new firmware, I have to use a special pickit controller?  So, say a firmware with a bootloader got created, I would have to solder a header onto the board for a PICkit controller, then use the controller to download the firmware to each board?

I'm fact checking here.  Anyone who can verify, please go for it.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest $70,000 in Bitcoin? How should I do it? on: October 29, 2013, 01:24:19 PM
Use CoinBase to Buy Bitcoins...  Keep some bitcoins there, and transfer a few to your bitcoin wallet.  Backup and Encrypt your bitcoin wallet.  Do not loose your Password or lose your wallet.dat file.

Risky is to invest in some bitcoin startups... I wouldnt do that.

Possibly take some bitcoins and transfer to BTC-e and buy some Litecoins.  But not a lot, say 10 BTC worth.

Also if in the US, and you are using coinbase, use my referral linky, because I haven't even gotten one referral yet:

103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does Anyone Else Believe In Jesus Christ ? on: October 29, 2013, 01:15:16 PM
I believe.

I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ.

I also believe in Laying on hands and prayer healing.  I have seen/heard way to much of people deathly sick, getting serious round the clock prayer from people that are serious about praying, and then going back to the doctor with nothing to be found.

If you are a skeptic, Check out a few live broadcast services sometime.

http://www.believerstabernacle.net/

Also, to test if God is talking to you, simply read some Bible scripture, have a serious questioning conversation about the subject matter with a loved one, and then watch a live service, and see if that subject is not talked about at some point in the broadcast.

Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day

I also believe that if you say that with your mouth,
and believe it in your heart,  AND DO WORKS THAT SHOW FAITH.

Then you will be saved.

So lets address the Power wiring and the USB Hub more.

Or the general connection of these K16's.

105  Bitcoin / Hardware / Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: October 25, 2013, 04:17:09 AM
So, as some of us may be receiving the Klondikes (K16) soon,  How should we connect, say 10 of them together?
Best case scenario that the klondikes are provided with some basic power connectors/wiring.

I don't even know what power connector is exactly on the K16 or what power cord is coming with it.

106  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [TENTATIVE] Avalon Gen. 2 Chips Group Buy on: October 20, 2013, 05:19:22 AM
I'm interested also, but the price and the hashrate would have to be good.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTB] Unobtanium on: October 20, 2013, 04:10:19 AM
Paying 0.006BTC per UN.

I'll sell you Unobtanium

But it will cost you more than .006BTC
108  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I'm About to Quit Mining on: October 19, 2013, 04:37:10 PM
Better to Buy and hold Bitcoin for a year or more....

I would have made so much more money if I would have simply bought bitcoin with the money I spent on mining equipment.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Coin Poll on: October 18, 2013, 03:28:04 AM
What I really DO like and even love is the fact that there are multiple secondary markets.

I would like to see every Coin traded in the LTC market also traded in the XPM market.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Coin Poll on: October 16, 2013, 02:25:37 PM
I don't see extremecoin.

Also, please don't list any more coins, unless the coin really has good support....

I am thinking the market has past reached the saturation point for altcoins.

Being listed on the exchange should give value added and developers some incentive to maintain these coins, but at some point with too many coins, that value added gets diluted.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRC] Craftcoin - Portable Minecraft Game Currency w. Economy Plugin on: September 24, 2013, 01:05:56 PM
Cryptsy has announced that they are keeping this coin.

Also.  Is anyone here playing minecraft and using the currency?  If this currency gets accepted as the best economic plugin, that would be huge.

I would market it in minecraft, but I don't play the game.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRC] Craftcoin - Portable Minecraft Game Currency w. Economy Plugin on: September 22, 2013, 01:31:28 PM
I'm not worried about that too much.  All the others I dumped, but I think that craftcoin, if it is developed properly and becomes popular as a currency in minecraft, then it will be a very successful coin.

Ok, Here should be the Fix.  I don't know if this has been fixed yet, but what do you think of this:

I got this idea elsewhere in the forum, I don't remember where:

Assumption 1:  The coin should retarget difficultly normally how often?  Say every 24 hours.

Fix:  If the difficultly had not re-targeted in 4x the expected time(in this case, 4 Days) then change difficulty (even for current block)

A modification to this would be if the Coin has a High difficulty and 1/4 of the blocks have not been solved in the expected retarget time, then change difficulty.

I hope this pool is mining digicoin right now....

I wish that there was more info available like a miners history.  I think that would be beneficial to everyone.
115  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 10, 2013, 04:11:42 AM
^ Would love to see this a good bargain go through.

For now, I am still in.  Best case scenario is if Avalon ran out of 110 nm chips and replaces these orders with the 55nm chips.  How happy would that make everyone here?  I know I would be pleased. I could forgive Yifu then.

I know that SB is working hard making the best of a tight situation.

Hmmm.... Interesting!  I didn't realize that halving would cause such a drop in price... I figured that halving would make the coin more valuable.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MultiCoin][Stratum+GW] multipool.in - Always mine the most profitable coin on: July 25, 2013, 03:24:42 PM
OMG,  I have mined on multipool all day and have recieved less per day than I normally do.. I hate all the switching...

I want to vote on Coins to mine  and mine the coin that has been voted on.

Or another thing is set deltas that the coin has to cross in order to mine it.  for example set Handicaps for more desirable coins.

So in my mind i might give MEC  a .1 handicap so that another coin has to at least be more efficient to mine by .1% in order to mine it.
