Moreover, what I (and everybody else) can do is to spread the information about Stratis.

I did that, when I talked about it in my company couple of days ago, and today I spoke about it to my friend who works in a Software company who promote Atlassian - the very same one which Stratis uses (Stratis - Powered by Atlassian - if you have kept your eyes open).

So instead of waiting PoS rewards, it's better to spread the information - and the rewards will come when Stratis takes off to the moon Smiley

it is more, at least in my case. I am staking since 3 weeks and received 3 times as much as the stratispool told me I would get.

1% is way too low.

It's bit of a random process anyway...Maybe you got lucky?

I mean, I've been staking about week and a half now, and I've got nothing.
On the other hand, I'm not really expecting to be rewarded, since my wallet says 'Expected time to earn reward is 42 days' .

And frankly, I don't even care Smiley

Stratis is much bigger than getting a reward every now and then.

I believe in this concept, and I'm just happy to be part of it.

I'm having an issue with the electrum wallet where every time I go to send any Stratis it says "tax rejected"

Does anyone know why this happening... Does the electric wallet not come automatically set up to make outgoing transactions? I had no problem sending to the wallet, why would I have issues sending out of it?

Just a thought...

I have no experience about Electrum wallet, but I have a Stratis staking wallet - and there's an option under 'Settings' where one can set the default transaction fee (which should be 0.01 STRAT). Have you checked what transaction fee is set in Electrum wallet, when transferring strats?

Forgot to mention...
You can receive strats without any cost (sender pays that), but when you are sending, you have to pay the sending fee. That's the difference.

what is the pos rate?

1% / year, so if you have 10,000 Strats you will make 100 Strat in one year from staking

Ok. Now I see...

There's also a calculator for that. I don't know how reliable it is thou...

Say, have you noticed that Ethereum is taking a beating once again?
It's almost ten points down and falling...
What ICO is causing that this time?

Hodling with love.

That kinda sounds like a James Bond movie Smiley

Weird association, but agreed.

(sorry, just having a pint after a hard week Smiley )

Cheers!

Cheers Smiley

Thank god.

Now what about masternodes?

This alpha release of the Breeze wallet is one of the promised milestones, so let's celebrate that for a moment, shall we Smiley

It's very reassuring to see that you folks work hard and deliver.
Well done!

well done Marviner. Stratis just need time to evolve. Let's hold and hold!

Thank you.
If I know our company at all (and I'm afraid I do after 18 years in Research & Devel department) they are not going to deploy single solution - but they usually play it safe and keep all options open. Therefore I think there's room for Stratis as well.
Our company is one of the big multinational corporations (which everybody knows) so they can afford to try and deploy many different frameworks.

One thing which came very apparent today was the main presenters notion;
'No company cannot ignore the blockchain technology anymore. If one chooses to ignore it - the competitors will not'

On the other hand, one of the key messages was also, that blockchain is not the ultimate silver bullet. There are certain situations, where traditional solutions are more cost- and performance efficient. So it's not be-all-end-all solution.

But companies are definitely interested about this technology; mostly because of the opportunities it promises - and partly because of the fear that competitors will get there first.

Microsoft Azure marketplace has Stratis Full node available, yes.
And tomorrow I'm going to disuss about Stratis BaaS concept with my colleagues - and hopefully reach consensus with them to investigate it further as one possible solution for our business needs.

Update;
Today we had a teleconference (with 90 attendees globally) where we discussed about different blockchain solutions for our company.
There was couple of different blockchain platforms on the table - most notably HyperLedger.
HyperLedger provides quite a suite of different frameworks, so that is the one to beat.
However, as I predicted the tech board was not aware of Stratis, so after the teleconference, I talked directly with the tech board and did my best to convince them to take Stratis for further investigation as one plausible platform solution.

They were surprised, quite interested and they are now looking into it. So, fingers crossed.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry but ETH is not the future Xtrabytes is. on: June 30, 2017, 08:16:34 AM

The difference is those were scams while this isn't. You cynical lot can't you believe in anything that's not got some big famous millionaire as the CEO of an ICO?

Those critisisms aren't fair for a project in early development stage. Every coin has to have an early stage including Bitcoin and ETH. Have a look at how XBY will create consensus without POW or staking. The concept is sound and very unique.

Can you at least admit IF it solves these issues it will be huge?

People are skeptical about new things - and that's healthy - that's normal human behaviour. It has deep significance in human evolution, and it's a default reaction.
It's better to assume that the shadow in the bushes is a lion - instead of a rabbit.

What is needed in this case, is some sort of proof of concept. More detailed information.
And it would help tremendously, if the persons involved this project wouldn't hide behind nicknames.
If they genuinely believe in their work, they should show their real names and pictures.

At least I want to know who gets my money.

I had a chat with Azure support, and they confirmed it.

So Stratis is for reals?

Now I'm a believer. I just needed to be extra, extra sure (for the reasons explained earlier)

Well said

Clowns: Have you clicked Marketplace?Huh??

Call me once more 'clown' and I'm gonna report you to the moderators.

I have a meeting tomorrow at my workplace, where we discuss possible blockchain implementations in our company.
I want to bring Stratis on the table as a strong candidate and I need to be able to show that Microsoft Azure connection in order to make a serious point.

That's why I want to make sure this is for reals.

Why I'm not able to see that blue search bar?
Do I need account or does it depend on my location?

Goddamit!
