If Bitcoin stabilizes after Aug 1, you will see the rise again.

you receive a percentage of the transaction fees. Which overtime as the coin rises can become significant.

There is support on Slack at all hours, stop by anytime and come chat with the community

Please do some research, and look at some charts. However, many people feel that ETC has a bright future and plenty of room to grow
If you believe in, make small buys throughout the next month. After August 1 things will shake out and the best coins will rise to the top
Thanks for the info, I will do some research and ask some follow up questions down the road
with a project like this its all about getting the merchants on board, if they do it will be incredible

There will eventually be regulations, because in the future a big ICO will want to be regulated, this will give them the opportnity to establish some trust with the community. My guess is that within two years you will have coins voluntarily submitting themselves to some regulatory body.

yes, ultimately there has to be a product or good news to give them value. In addition, people start talking about the coin so it gives some easy PR

These things can take time, hopefully they will post updates and keep the community informed, they definetly have the resources to get things moving forward now

the next step, and this is being worked on by groups like openANX and others, is tokenizing FIAT. The problem with Tether is you don't know if they are keeping a 1-1 ratio. In other words is one dollar held in an account for every tether created? However, groups are now tokenizing FIAT and working to follow regulations which insists actual money is kept in an account for the coin. This allows tokenized FIAT to be traded across platforms with the guarantee (I use that term loosely) that you can trade your token in for a dollar at anytime.
We should have the option of using regulated and deregulated currencies and then evaluating the risk associated with each.

Heat, ADC, are also a few others. You can then look at a coin like NEM who does harvesting which is staking but based on Proof of Importance
Pick coins that are platforms like waves, Nem, etc and have great communities as well. A lot of people who believe are willing to hold which stabilizes the coins value in the long term.
The reality is they have to deliver, uncapped is fine but you better communicate and you better deliver. If you don't it will be a fire sale and everyone will jump ship and it will hurt everyone. In reality the coin is fine, but what does it really deliver? It delivers the ability to change based on voting, this could be a huge success but I don't see how voting and another promise of improved speed give you a competitive edge once the token sale is over

Don't give up on Sonm just yet, true no instant profit but there were a mass of people that dumped coins from the pre-ICO. Any positive news/developments come to light and it will jump like they all do.

Volatility brings in opportunities for both buying and selling. How many people have a plan when you purchase a currency? Are you going to: hold for 6 months to a year, do you have a target price to sell at, are you willing to make a quick 10% and move on, do you want to participate in ICO's? Have a plan, stick to it and you will probably end up in a pretty good place. This is only the beginning, think of how many more people will be into crypto in 2-5 years. Invest, hold, stake, harvest, set up a node if you can afford it and let the money work for you.

Nem, XRP, Litecoin, ANS, Etherium, Etherium Classic, Waves, Library Credits, 1 or two ICO's you really like and hold em all. If 3 of those pan out you are golden
waves will be fine, several ICO's will be released on their platform soon. Which means more people buying waves. Coins that are platforms have more of a future then some other coins IMO.
