If Bitcoin stabilizes after Aug 1, you will see the rise again.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone kindly explain how does running a DASH MasterNode helps you to profit on: July 11, 2017, 09:03:01 PM
you receive a percentage of the transaction fees. Which overtime as the coin rises can become significant.

Please do some research, and look at some charts. However, many people feel that ETC has a bright future and plenty of room to grow

If you believe in, make small buys throughout the next month. After August 1 things will shake out and the best coins will rise to the top

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming ICO's on: July 08, 2017, 10:37:13 PM
look into roots, community project based approach to poverty. They have some great ideas and actually want to create value for the investor https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2007559.0
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now its time to buy TENX from $76 to $1 on: July 08, 2017, 10:30:51 PM
with a project like this its all about getting the merchants on board, if they do it will be incredible
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of ICO's What should be done for ICOs to become next IPOs globally? on: July 08, 2017, 04:25:32 PM
There will eventually be regulations, because in the future a big ICO will want to be regulated, this will give them the opportnity to establish some trust with the community. My guess is that within two years you will have coins voluntarily submitting themselves to some regulatory body.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does an airdropped coin get's its value? on: July 08, 2017, 04:16:20 PM
yes, ultimately there has to be a product or good news to give them value. In addition, people start talking about the coin so it gives some easy PR
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting For BAT Developers to Execute Their Roadmap on: July 08, 2017, 03:30:35 PM
These things can take time, hopefully they will post updates and keep the community informed, they definetly have the resources to get things moving forward now
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is digital gold, what will be the digital "dollar"? on: July 04, 2017, 12:30:57 PM
the next step, and this is being worked on by groups like openANX and others, is tokenizing FIAT. The problem with Tether is you don't know if they are keeping a 1-1 ratio. In other words is one dollar held in an account for every tether created? However, groups are now tokenizing FIAT and working to follow regulations which insists actual money is kept in an account for the coin. This allows tokenized FIAT to be traded across platforms with the guarantee (I use that term loosely) that you can trade your token in for a dollar at anytime.

We should have the option of using regulated and deregulated currencies and then evaluating the risk associated with each.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof-of-stake coins on: July 03, 2017, 06:10:10 PM
Heat, ADC, are also a few others. You can then look at a coin like NEM who does harvesting which is staking but based on Proof of Importance
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the cryptocurrencies to watch out for? on: July 03, 2017, 01:07:27 AM
Pick coins that are platforms like waves, Nem, etc and have great communities as well. A lot of people who believe are willing to hold which stabilizes the coins value in the long term.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEZOS ICO needs a maximum cap on: July 03, 2017, 12:48:23 AM
The reality is they have to deliver, uncapped is fine but you better communicate and you better deliver. If you don't it will be a fire sale and everyone will jump ship and it will hurt everyone. In reality the coin is fine, but what does it really deliver? It delivers the ability to change based on voting, this could be a huge success but I don't see how voting and another promise of improved speed give you a competitive edge once the token sale is over
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Token ICO - never ever on: July 03, 2017, 12:36:06 AM
Don't give up on Sonm just yet, true no instant profit but there were a mass of people that dumped coins from the pre-ICO. Any positive news/developments come to light and it will jump like they all do.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does the cryptocurrey market go down recently? on: July 02, 2017, 11:43:57 PM
Volatility brings in opportunities for both buying and selling. How many people have a plan when you purchase a currency? Are you going to: hold for 6 months to a year, do you have a target price to sell at, are you willing to make a quick 10% and move on, do you want to participate in ICO's? Have a plan, stick to it and you will probably end up in a pretty good place. This is only the beginning, think of how many more people will be into crypto in 2-5 years. Invest, hold, stake, harvest, set up a node if you can afford it and let the money work for you.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are best to invest on for 1-2 year basis ? on: July 02, 2017, 11:36:34 PM
Nem, XRP, Litecoin, ANS, Etherium, Etherium Classic, Waves, Library Credits, 1 or two ICO's you really like and hold em all. If 3 of those pan out you are golden
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES on: July 02, 2017, 11:29:07 PM
waves will be fine, several ICO's will be released on their platform soon. Which means more people buying waves. Coins that are platforms have more of a future then some other coins IMO.
