It seems country after country is falling into line and becoming in favor of crypto currency. Seems odd how much they were against it and now all of a sudden they seem to be falling over themselves wanting to get in. I have not put it all together yet but there is more than meets the eye.

Paypal is the worst scum on the earth and one of the main reasons I got involved with Bitcoin. I would say Bitcoin is less evil by a long way until our names are attached to our addresses. Then Bitcoin is a Banker and governments widest dream come true.

When I switch out of Bitcoin to altcoin I usually end up buying outside of the top 100. More risk but more gain. Sometimes it works out and sometimes you crash into the mountain. It all boils down to risk tolerance.

For bitcoin I always download a copy of bitaddress.org onto a fresh USB. I have a computer that never goes online and I generate addresses that way. This way the key is never online at any point until I'm ready to move the funds. I also usually split the bitcoin up with 10 wallets and 10% in each. This way if I do suffer a loss hopefully its only 10%.

My top coin is for sure Bitcoin. It's the big daddy of the bunch and always will be. Number 2 will be Ethereum. My pick for position number 3 is IOTA.

I think it's fairly obvious at this point that the powers that be approve of crypto and may have started it themselves. They fake fake here and there that they don't like it. But the LOVE it. Only a matter of time.

Not so sure about the voting competition as the room for fraud is very great. Kucoin is an awesome place to trade however so hopefully they have some good security in place to stop any funny business.

The market seems to have bottomed out around the 250 billion dollar market cap. I think we may bumble around here for awhile with may be one last big tree shake and then its pump time. Over a trillion this time.

I have been personally waiting for it to dip in the the 30's again and I will buy a large chunk. Wife is still pissed at me for not buying at .33 cents before it skyrocketed. If I make that mistake again I will be getting a divorce.

Whatever you do not use that laptop again. I would not even trust a reformat at this point if I was going ot transact a large amount of money. Almost better off getting a $200 POS from walmart and only use that with your crypto transactions.

These are a few of the steps I follow.
1. Never keep all your funds in 1 wallet. I do 10% in 10 separate wallets.
2. Keep your private keys encrypted
3. Only access your private key while off line.
4. Memorize part of your private key and type that while copying and pasting the rest.
5. Change wallets addresses every few weeks.

Not dead but there is no way it can handle that market cap. Its gotta come back down to earth and develop a strong product which outdoes the competition. That competition includes Neblio. Nevermind. It's dead. Neblio wins hands down.

The biggest scam for me was EthereumDark. I think the page count was up to 400+ pages. It was a huge soap Oprah with project leads dying then coming back to life in other parts of the forum. Real classic stuff. Lost about 2k on that one.

Sorry to hear about the theft you incurred. Make sure you stay in the crypto game and make it back x 10. Your luck will swing. Maybe you should consider a hardware wallet for this go round. I do not use one myself but stories like yours are pushing me in that direction.

Don't let the media fool you. People, business, bankers and government believe in crypto. They are accumulating it now from the weak. Paper money is dead. Crypto is the future. I actually believe the world government brought this to us in the guise of a man named Satoshi.
