101  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 30, 2023, 02:05:00 PM
Money has been a problem ever since goods and services were created because you need it for maintenance, but it also takes a lot of effort and sacrifice to become financially independent because you have to be able to distinguish between need and want. This is particularly difficult because, as humans, we tend to focus on things that are not that crucial. so it takes determination to attain.
It is important to have wisdom in using money and this is not easy,
regarding that, needs certainly need to be met and what is difficult to control is desire, that's why I think we need to reduce expenses that are not too important,
Achieving financial freedom is not easy, of course, because it requires sacrifice, as you said.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: January 30, 2023, 02:30:57 AM
Some very good coins out there have lost 95% of their value already is it possible to see more down fall? I'm throwing this to those that are present in last bear market, marketcap and volume is over millions of dollars and price is 95% down?  Shocked :I downfall still possible? For example Metahero.
yes it will still happen but we want to know that the bulls seem to have dominated the market,
so there is a possibility to stay bullish until maybe when bad news comes a downfall will occur again,
yes it's better to wait first if you want to buy it.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: January 29, 2023, 06:01:43 PM
I have invested at the wrong time when the price of cryptocurrencies is really very expensive,
of course what I hope is that altcoin prices can return to new ATH again, especially now that I'm currently holding altcoins like Verasity, Crypto.com, and Fantom,
Let's hope that 2023 will be a bullish year for cryptocurrencies.
VRA & Fantom both of worth holding i think, still these are already pumping 15%-25% up. Though i don’t know what's your buying price but i would like to recommend you should keep holding for the long term to hit new ATH. Exchange token isn’t good to hold in the long term investment.
Crypto.com is still very good to buy in my opinion, because they have also done Proof of reserves,
so for now maybe until 2024 CRO is still very good to buy, especially since the price of CRO is also very cheap,
yup this is a great opportunity to gain Profit.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin Dead ? on: January 29, 2023, 04:53:51 PM
Dogecoin's journey is still very long and remember Dogecoin's Holders have spread all over the world,
so Doge is not a coin that is only held by the developer but everyone holds this coin and makes Doge really very strong in terms of community and of course fundamental,
so who anyone who says that dogecoin is dead of course it is FUD.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: January 29, 2023, 10:03:55 AM
Which is the best?  Trading on bitcoin or investing in the stock market? The battle between short period earning and long-term earning. Share your thought about it.

Both markets have their pros and cons, if you want to be safe and less volatile, then stocks are the choice, and if you like to take risks but have a chance to make bigger profits, then cryptocurrency is the choice. I've been into both markets and can't say which is better, it's up to you. Like I like risk and volatility, so I choose cryptocurrencies and my friends don't like risk, they choose stocks. Long term or short term, I still lean more towards bitcoin, because in the long term bitcoin growth is very impressive.
Yes, it all comes back, depending on which one we prefer,
and if you haven't had both I think it's better to do some research and it's very important,
the most important thing is don't just rely on suggestions from other people because it doesn't necessarily match what we want.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 28, 2023, 02:29:48 PM
even though it has a high risk, altcoins are still very attractive because they also offer quite high potential. Even some altcoins can increase by hundreds of percent within a month. as an example is Aptos. and maybe that's one of the reasons everyone is into altcoins. but for the long term I am not interested in altcoins. But to get profit in the short term, I chose altcoins. someone told me that we get in before the hype is about to happen and we get out when the hype reaches its peak.
As long as we can choose the right altcoin I think it will be profitable,
but somehow it's not that easy to choose the right altcoin because it takes research which takes a lot of time,
if you choose to invest in meme coins or altcoins, the choice is definitely altcoins.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hasbulla's NFT collection on: January 27, 2023, 02:14:10 PM
I only know his name after reading this thread so don't know if his NFT will have a future and will give something good to holders.
I've always been a person who has never been interested in nor touched whoever's NFT issued because I never considered it a wise investment and had a good future this is just like a waste of our money
I also think that NFT is not very promising and the hype seems to be over,
so I don't see the future of NFT going to be bright although we never know what will happen next,
whether it's true or not seeing that nowadays many people are no longer interested in NFT.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 26, 2023, 10:38:09 PM
in general between the two jobs there are advantages and disadvantages of each, but I personally am an entrepreneur who has never felt both but on the negative and positive sides
people who work for commissions are more likely to commit fraud at work, in my personal opinion, even though this is not everyone, maybe it's more of an individual
True commission work is not as bad as you say and not everyone is like that,
those who prefer a salary-based job seem more concerned with stability,
and for those who prefer commission work want unlimited profits but it depends on your hard work.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 25, 2023, 02:41:01 PM
profit has made the whole market warm back after long winter from 2018.
I think there were still people that have been missed making money during the bull run and still haven't learned that lesson that we've got from being in a long bear market on 2018.

And for the next potential bull run, we're all about going to use those lessons that we've taken from the past.

If you still didn't learned anything from it then you should start accumulating or else, you'll still be missing a lot.
Those who learn from the past, of course, they are very experienced and know what to do,
I think those who have been for a long time have never forgotten how the conditions were in 2018,
There is still time so take advantage of the opportunities that exist.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 24, 2023, 11:01:43 AM

there is nothing big to lose if we will only invest small amount I mean just a chicken part of our money and try out chances to buy something we can afford to lose though it isnt advisable to invest in shitcoin yet I knew that there are some of us who truly trusted those coin for sometime now.
Yes, When we invest what can be afford to loss then the investment turns to be risk free. Most of the time people turn greedy looking someone who have won big out of shitcoins and memecoins. We need to understand it is their luck that brought the profit and not the perfect prediction.
It's impossible to predict perfectly and we also can't expect continuous luck,
everyone has the same goal of making a profit but they have their own way of achieving it,
luck also will not come if we do not work hard.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: January 23, 2023, 03:09:27 PM
Long-term strategies are always the best, in fact if a person starts trading long-term, no matter what happens, there is always a very good opportunity to react to the market, it is difficult to trade short-term Because the most likely thing is that if you have little reaction, if the market goes against you, you lose money, for example in futures, there you must be very alert, it is a double-edged sword, something that has to be taken very seriously and in Actually, it could be like one of the things that take the most adrenaline, however when there is long-term trading or investment, everything is calmer, or generally my movements in trading are long or very long-term, the key to everything is to have patience.

That's true but implementing a long-term strategy isn't easy either,
it takes patience which not everyone has and it is also important to keep abreast of market movements,
actually it all depends on the coins we have because if we have a top coin like Bitcoin or Ethereum it's obviously very viable long term.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2023, 11:17:54 PM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?

My advice is no because bitcoin is very volatile, and nobody knows when bitcoin will go up again, maybe next year or maybe 10 years later, bitcoin will go up again. So, borrowing money to invest in a volatile asset is too risky to try. Investing is for profit and comfort in life, not to create more pressure on yourself.
Another case if you borrow money to invest in gold maybe it's still acceptable,
but for clear crypto investment it will be very risky and not recommended,
Obviously I completely agree with what you said.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is gxc coin potentially good? on: January 22, 2023, 08:55:53 PM
I want to know from all my friends about gxc coin, does gxc coin have good potential for the future? because I saw at CMC the supply was only 100 million,
and if I'm not mistaken in 2021 this coin has also experienced a high price increase ... but now the price has fallen,
what do you think about this coin?
is this coin worth making a long term investment?
According to Coinmarketcap GXC has migrated to the REI Network, GXC has also been delisted from Binance and switched to REI with a 1:10 ratio,
I hope you no longer hold GXC but only hold REI, yes some exchanges still have trades for GXC/GXS, however it is more advisable to switch to Binance and buy REI for long-term investment,
and yes this altcoin has great potential to pump up to 10x or even 100x.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 22, 2023, 07:00:46 PM
we all know no one can controls the bitcoin price because bitcoin isn't like bank, stock and valas. but if the whales owned 51% of bitcoin, can do it?. if happen, does decentralization not exist?
Bitcoin is still decentralized, it's just that the supply of Bitcoin has actually been bought by several big companies like maybe Tesla and Microstrategy who are buying up Bitcoin,
we can also see through explorer how the supply of bitcoin moves, and who holds Bitcoin, this is why Decentralization will always run in Bitcoin,
whales can indeed be in control, but to destroy bitcoin of course they can never, so don't worry.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 22, 2023, 06:38:48 PM
I think that even on the past, a stable and high paying jobs are already rare to find and in case you came across one, it will still be hard to apply on them due the benefits that entails on them. But we don't really need one. What important for now is to have any job which makes you some $$$. It must be enough to keep yourself alive.

If it pays less then you should learn how to budget or try to add another one (side hustle). That should make you feel better now. Saving must be practiced so that when unexpected events happen like a loss of job, you will still have something to get while you currently hunt for another job replacement.

You need to learn how to adjust especially if you are saving some portions of your salaries, it will give you good backup funds in case emergency take place in the future.

Like you mentioned, high paying job means lots of competitions and it's not easy to acquire
you need to have huge knowledge about the job before you can land yourself in.

Acquiring more skills to find high-paying jobs should be our priority while we are can. Finding a side hustle to support our other necessities will be a good thing for us to be able to save and invest. Finding a high-paying job with a good working environment is a struggle nowadays but if we are equipped with the knowledge, we can find promising and decent companies. As the price of primary goods increases as well as our bills, we also have to double hustling.
True and we can have these skills if we try to keep learning,
keep learning new things I think it will open or explore our potential and of course that is a good thing,
High paying jobs certainly have a lot of requirements.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 22, 2023, 06:12:47 PM
Once upon a time I used to be into everything that has everything to do with Artificial Intelligence and I was happy that some blockchain projects are into A.I but they never seem to get better adoption, A.I is something g the world wants but it just seem too early, now I've give up on crypto / blockchain A.I projects but now

What about Metaverse? Will this use case faces the same fate? I am worried that we are too haste into the future like we won't be needing this until some several years later, is this something to be worried about?
don't worry about the metaverse, because the metaverse is part of the future, if you have invested in the metaverse and NFT then just let it be,
the future will be bright friends, you can see how technology is progressing, AI will also be a new trend this year , so do not waste the opportunity to gain profit.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 22, 2023, 05:22:02 PM
FTX, Celsius, Voyager,  and soon Luna ( probably )... all making ridiculous gains in this BTC rally.
Meanwhile some coins with good fundamentals and strong utility ( like Chainlink ) are doing poorly...  Huh C'mon...
2022 is the worst year for the world of cryptocurrencies especially in altcoins, for Bitcoin I don't think it will ever be a scam, but altcoins like Ethereum, Binance or XRP might be a scam,
we've seen lots of top altcoin scams, yeah you mentioned Luna, FTX, and even Voyager, of course this will make a crypto currency project really have to be analyzed in depth both fundamentally and technically.
to be honest, I myself am also confused about what to do next, but of course we don't just give up.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 21, 2023, 10:51:43 AM
...What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?

On a bullish trend, even a beginner who does not have sufficient knowledge about trading can make a profit from trading. In this case, it will be like a casino. But he will also quickly lose his money if luck turns away from him, and this will definitely happen to him, since trading requires knowledge, not just luck.
Right and that's why it's important to have knowledge and skills,
trading is very complex so when we jump in without any preparation of course it will only waste time and will lose,
in trading do not expect to make profits easily and quickly.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: We are not out of the woods yet on: January 20, 2023, 04:14:59 PM
There is always this most painful season in crypto space that hurts even the strongest of crypto holders out there where they will almost give up, I don't believe that this bear market will be different, if you are here in 2019 you knew what I am talking about.

It will get to a point where many will start losing hope on crypto, a more painful bottom will occur and holders will lose faith, the bear market will look like it will be here forever.

We are not at this point yet so do not get too confidence that a new all times low is no more possible, no one saw COV-19 coming in 2020 and anything can still happen between 2023- 2024.

I wouldn't be so sure. IMHO we have already seen the bottom this cycle. We are not going any lower. Down from $69k to $16k doesn't feel enough pain for you? How much is that? 78% down?  Grin

Nothing is impossible, in the context of the world economy is still struggling, it is possible for bitcoin to continue to be impacted and fall more than is possible. When many believe that a bottom has been formed and bitcoin will never fall again, that is when bitcoin will fall. I still believe we haven't bottomed yet, bitcoin will drop below $15k.
Yeah basically it's possible it could happen but honestly I wish for Bitcoin it didn't happen,
the market is also still not completely stable and difficult to predict,
for now the price of Bitcoin has not shown signs of going down again.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: January 19, 2023, 03:15:08 PM
When you see a crypto news saying that investors are leaving shiba inu and polygon or avalanche for a new project do not always believe, this is a new way to attract the public investors that have no time to do their own research first.

For example, something like this is been going on for a long time now

I can't count how many times I've come across such news online and when you check the project out its either a new upcoming project that's not even launched yet or a project that has low volume.

This Oryen Network in the picture above is not even listed on coinmarketcap and presale is ongoing 🤦🏼‍♂️ why the lie in the first place? The presale is even struggling if you check the website.

New crypto investors need to be very careful when doing research, do not take a decision without doing your own research first.

When investing of course you should take into consideration the news but you also need to separate what is pure and simple paid advertisement and what is actual news. Marketing campaigns reach everywhere and many sites do not even know the content of the ads being displayed. The same happens with press releases wich can many times be mistaken for news, so when putting your money into any investment you should go much further than the news and dig deeper for information away from the news.
With more and more exposure to news or paid advertisements, we should be able to tell the difference,
keeping up with the latest news is also very important because after all, the investments are interrelated.
