It will be interesting to see if he will hold on to the BBP and keep computing after 4/1. And if anyone wants to pitch in to stake the RAC I won't be able to, all the rewards will go towards the charity fund minus expenses.

Ok I have downloaded the newest BBP wallet yesterday and it still has green bar at bottom of wallet saying syncing with network for past 24 hours, should have loaded by now. I have also tried closing and restarting the wallet but still same issue as above. Anyone know how to fix the issue?
Is the computer clock time correct? It has to be pretty exact for it to sync. If that doesn't work repair or delete the chain and try again.

edit the config change the master nodes addnode=node.biblepay.org addnode=biblepay.inspect.network if that still doesnt work delete the chain data Did you try gen=0 yet to see if it will actually stop mining?

I dont think your config has actually been set properly.
The wallet does set the target (above in that 50001 part of the message)using the "utxoamount=XXXX".
my config: addnode=node.biblepay.org addnode=biblepay.inspect.network gen=1 genproclimit=3 poolport=80 pool=http://pool2.biblepay.org workerid=* utxoamount=1 gonna repeat... I put * to block the workerid obviously. Is there something wrong with this config? podc still gives me the "Unable to create PODC UTXO::Balance (3259.00) less than target UTXO (50001.00)." error Someone else in this thread was having the same issue, please advise. Can you try gen=0 and see if it still mines? Maybe you have a file permission issue.

First: Thx everybody for the super nice feedback for the Mining How To ... But a good documentation can always make it easier. To help here, I used the last days to work an a easier and more straight forward Mining How-To for Biblepay. And here is the first Alpha: The Biblepay Central Mining How-Tohttps://www.biblepay-central.org/en/mining-how-to/It is not finished, but maybe already useful for some users. As I'm not a native speaker in English, it will contain some errors. Help is always welcome The rest of the website is under construction, I will post more about that later Oh wow, this is unbelievably nice! This is far more than a guide, this is an entire domain. We should eventually work together to integrate data. You could add a page containing the proposals list with links to all the proposals being voted on, and possibly back-fill anything we missed - features that dash central has. Hi Rob Yes, these are the features I have in mind. And yes, the dash sites are my model here. I think a good overview of all information is something usefull for biblepay I will take some days until a first good version is done, but I'm working on it. I hope it will be a good complement to the website. For the proposals, I would take them from the chain, or better from your pool if there is an API for that, as your pool has more information available (like type of proposal: IT, Charity...) That looks great man. I was in the process of making one just like it but you were 50 steps ahead of me.

I think Bitcoin might actually go up in a recession.

I think you all might enjoy this new feature! We just added Upcoming super block data to the pool, so now questions like Capulo had, what is my current RAC being assesed at, and questions like the user who was left out of the first two superblocks - Am I in the next superblock, and Do I have the correct UTXO weight, and do I have the correct task weight, these can all be answered now by logging into the pool: https://pool.biblepay.org, click Reports | Superblock Report. Btw, the Total RAC should be re-captioned "Total Superblock RAC", and the AvgRAC is the users superblock RAC. The UTXOWeight is the amount the network sees as your Staking amount over the last 24 hours. The UTXOAmount should be captioned UTXO-Percentage. To see if you are at 100%, take a look at your RAC, your UTXOAmount and TaskAmount. The superblock data is coming from my first sanctuary (Sanc1), and is updated hourly. We destroy the data once per hour. The data is ordered by User RAC descending (like a leaderboard is). However, I am going to work on adding a contract history soon, so you can go back to prior points in history to see changes (and so we can add graphs to graph historical data by CPID etc). That's a great tool. I can't find the tab though. Please check now, you might have clicked when I was deploying it. Hey you lucked out, you got the contract from one of the older sancs! Congratulations on 187 mag! 'exec leaderboard' Yes, I'm glad that worked out. I see it now, it's under "Superblock View.

I'm wondering if either Togo , Mike or Onii-chan were in fact that mysterious " bot-net " Rob was "fighting" with ? I don't remember seeing Togo or Onii-chan in the pool before PODC which means they've been solo all that time ?

I personally wouldn't call Togo and I a botnet, we aren't doing anything wrong, just computing. And no, I just found out about Biblepay a month ago.

I liked the idea of 20 per RAC but I'm flexible. I would be fine with it coming down over time based on the effusion rate, too. The details can be worked out if it gets voted in.
I think 20/RAC would be a minimum for me. Can you explain what your talking about? I don't understand.

Thanks, Dave. I'd like to have a vote to choose between stake based on MAG versus stake based on RAC.
Just start one on the forum! How many BBP are you suggesting per RAC?

Hi- wondering if you can help. I've been using Biblepay with its GUI program through Linux Ubuntu, and mining through an account at pool2.biblepay.org. All has been going seamlessly, until today. I upgraded my Biblepay version because last time I logged into my pool2 account it said we have to upgrade to version 1.1.0.1+ in order to keep mining. But now after the upgrade, it no longer syncs, says "no block source available". It also keeps asking me for my wallet password when I load it for "PODC updates" which I have no clue what this means. Can you please help me resolve this, or point me to a tutorial of sorts? Thankyou You can cancel the password prompt, its just for PODC (Cancer mining). See this for cancer mining: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_Computing_2So, first please ensure your system time and timezone is correct. A lot of people cant sync if the time is off by more than 2 minutes.... Then resync. Yes, validated the system timezone and time is correct. Not resyncing or showing progress. Did I have to change something in my wallet configuration file to go along with the update? Currently it looks like: addnode=dnsseed.biblepay-explorer.org addnode=dnsseed.biblepay-explorer.org gen=1 genproclimit=2 poolport=80 pool=https://pool2.biblepay.org workerid=****(hidden) Can you delete the chain and re-sync. And try these instead: addnode=node.biblepay.org addnode=biblepay.inspect.network Delete the chain?? Do I have to rebuild the entire chain now just because of an upgrade, or is it because of the node change you suggested? Or is it to maintain integrity because of the node change? I'm not sure how to delete the chain, I suppose I just dive into my Biblepay folder and find it there? Thanks again. I'm just saying if your in a hurry, it only takes 5 minutes. IF you don't want to try the nodes I posted.

Thanks for clearing it up.
Can you clarify this for me? I am mining last 2 days and this is the results I get. I am staking 3500 BBP and have my RAC seen over last 3 blocks but 0 magnitude and 0 payouts...

I think you are on the network now but the current contract doesn't have you in there yet. cat magnitude | grep 328a <ROW>BRYo1mSUS9NB79RokuDF3N1NbFWdUvTBMK,328ae544f566cd3ec2191b0e825b38c3,0.201,1987605,15044,3650,100,977248,0,100.00,197,197 So atleast you see it somewhere, that's good. How did you find it? And will my CPID get into the contract automatically over time or? Run: exec dcc go into ~/.biblepaycpre/SAN cat magnitude | grep 328a I think a contract is created for every super-block but I'm not sure if new CPIDs get inserted into the current contract. So it is not certain I will recieve any of the mining rewards? This is so confusing.. I am mining for 2 days and I am not even certain I will mine anything. Can anyone check this info to be sure? I think a lot of new people will be wondering the same thing.. Your in the contract now! Wait for the superblock payment. exec testvote

Do I need to unlock my Sanctuary wallet to start the POW mining before run "exec associate rosetta_email_address rosetta_password true"? Is it safe to keep the wallet unlocked in the Sanctuary server while mining? Or it is better to turn off the mining in sanctury server?
Rob is working on an auto-unlock feature in headless. Yes, you will need to unlock it.

Biblepay - 1.1.0.9b Mandatory Upgrade - for Entire Network (including Sanctuaries)
This upgrade increased my sanctuary's constant CPU usage from 6% to about 33%. Can anyone else confirm this on their VPS? Mining is on by default, you can try turning it off. why mining is on by default?is this any benefit? It's for network integrity, since the hashrate on the network has decreased dramatically. The cpu usage should be very low however, you can lower it even more if you want to.
