We all have different occupations and work for different companies. We work hard and keep improving ourselves to show our company owner how good we are at our work and how efficient we can be in growing the company. But all we are doing is helping grow someone else's companies. All our talent and struggle is to help someone else earn more money. What are we doing for ourselves? At some point in our life, we must grow our own businesses for our own safety.
The title "Do your work" refers to growing your own business. We all have some skills in different sectors and we use all of our energy to work for a company and get a monthly salary. But we are not supposed to work for that company till death. so how will we bear our living expenses after retirement? Most people do not think about that.
You can say yes they do. They do monthly savings for their retirement plan.
But this is not savings or investment. Your fiat currencies lose value every year. So Your 30 years of saving will be the same in numbers but not in values.
So what can we do then? We have so little to grow a business.
Invest your saving in precious metals like gold and silver or digital assets like bitcoin, or it can in some potential stock or it can be in real estate. Invest your money where ever you want. Just do not keep it in a bank. The Bank interest rate is not higher than the inflation. You are losing money not gaining it. The point is to invest even if your saving is negligible.
That is right to grow our own business. Being a regular employee the salary is not sufficient for my financial needs. We do really need some extra income to be able to survive and it is hard to save extra money for investment. Having your own business is much better in being an employee, we need to work hard to be able to surpass the target income that we are aiming. When the business is already working really well, we could save up and we can invest it to a profitable investments. |

Most probably i think you should wait before owning a bitcoin. Make a research first and study further the market, enhance your skills as well in investing. No one can really tell what will happen to the market if it will go down or if it will goes up. Wait for the market to go downwards and set a target price on your target investment. While waiting you can stake a stable coin so that your funds would earn some percentage while waiting for your target price of bitcoin. Do not be so desperate just keep calm and have more patience.

With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.
It is time to take advantage of the bear market now, if you have extra funds that you can invest take this opportunity because we never know maybe the market is nearing bullish. But no one can really predict the market, just prepare yourself to the worst drop. If the biggest drop happened just hodl on your investment because the market will surely bullish again. [1] Seed Phrase- this is the most common method of a hacker to steal our funds. And it usually preys on newbies who don't know anything about the crypto space. What is happening is that there will be a pop-up in our metamask wallet asking to enter the seed phrase or a link will open saying to enter the seed phrase. Like for example to claim airdrops even if they don't know where they got it, and of course out of curiosity they will enter the newbies that they don't know will be hacked. A simple social engineering method can easily trick people without proper knowledge in the crypto industry. And when that happens, the investors have no recourse. The wallet is compromised, all funds will be scraped or lost, and the only solution that can be done is to create a new wallet and not use the old wallet that was hacked. Because there is no way for you to recover the wallet even if you report to the police. [2] Direct Transfer - Also one of the methods of hackers and what they do is they will send an email from a legitimate person or company and say that you send them coins and they will promise to return its value in a larger amount. But for those of us who have been in this industry for a long time, we already know this gimmick. But of course the newbies don't know that because of course there are still people out there who bite the hackers' bait. Sometimes scammers do a trick using metamask if the wallet has been compromised. There is a signature request that will appear but the truth is that it is just hiding its function hall. What will happen is that the fund will be transferred to the scammer. And sometimes it's a security update but it's the same. When this happens, the fund cannot be recovered but the wallet can still be used, that's why it's dangerous. However, such tricks are difficult to detect especially if we do not track what web3 website we are using. [3] Approval - also one of the methods of hackers or scammers to steal your funds. A way for them to access our tokens or NFTs. The Approval or Permit has two flavors. This is the onchain transaction that grants access to our NFTs or tokens. What the scammers do is legitimize the transactions that we will approve, but in reality our tokens or nft will be transferred to another wallet. And they can do this by creating update applications that request permission and once we approve that, they will have full access. So normally what these scammers will do is they will make it appear that we have received airdrops and we need to claim it, and sometimes we will receive an email like that. Like the example in the picture, sometimes in groups or social media channels you will see something like that.  Of course we already know this kind of trick and we don't just believe in it of course. But as usual with newbies they don't know this, so newbies always be careful. [4] Permit - It is also a way to get access to our wallet like the approval, the only difference is that an off chain signature is needed here instead of an onchain transaction like the picture below. The process is almost the same as the approval. 
Now the only solution to avoid this is to be vigilant about the decentralized applications we access, and always check the url of the website and make sure that the one we access is the official website. And when we receive a link to the airdrops, don't just believe it, because normally the project owners don't do this. So it should be confirmed first on their official channel or their social media channels. And our other solution here is to revoke the approval after we used the applications. It's just a different way of disconnecting connected sites, though we also need to disconnect the site from the metamask. And we have a certain website for this, all we need is that we have a balance in our wallet for the transaction we will do here because we are dealing w/ onchain transaction. So we have to pay the gas fee here, and the most popular here is https://revoke.cash/  all we do here is connect the wallet and the beauty here is that almost all blockchains are available to them. Once you see it, you just revoke it so that your wallet's connection to that application will be lost forever. So we will just do this every time we have an interaction with decentralized applications, Defi or any nft market place just so we can be sure even if we pay a fee at least our wallet is secure especially if the wallet we use has funds. Or another solution here that we can do for additional protection is that we can install a web3 antivirus in the chrome extension, its job is that before we use metamask, it runs first if there is a threat in metamask or not. Because if something suspicious is seen, it will give you a warning. This is a very good article. All of us should be aware and careful of phishing attack, we should evaluate first the airdrop that we are about to join and if they are asking to connect the metamask research first if it is safe to approve signature on our wallet. No one can really predict when will the next bull market will take place. It is already second quarter of the year and the market is really hard to predict. The slow movement of the market is very tricky we do not know if it is going to rug pull or it is going to be bullish. I still believe that the whales has a big participation on the prices of the market and also the investors who used to dump coins to take profit. The best thing to do right now while the market is not bullish is to take advantage on investing coins at a lower value, keep it and wait for the bullish market come.

Play to earn games are pretty much interesting specially to the people who are fond of playing online games. I had seen play to earn games promotions and it shows that by playing those games you can earn crypto currencies in winning or in leveling up the game. Usually social media influencers are the ones who promotes the P2E games to make the it hype. But if you will evaluate the games it would cause you a lot of money before you could start playing it, in short you need to invest first on the game before you could start playing. Some of the games i saw was so expensive to start up and upon seeing the price, I decided not to push thru on playing it. For sure Sony and Microsoft had already their plans to develop P2E games to be able to cope up to the existing market. |

Market manipulators must have made me want to wet my pants, in the past years there are many FUD about Bitcoin, calling it another bubble, this could have made me give up.

You are right no one is too late in Investing in Bitcoin. An investor should be open minded and equipped with proper knowledge on how does the crypto currency investment works. You can keep it for as long as you believe in BNB. If I hold a BNB I would rather buy and sell it. I will do the scalping way, I will wait for the price to go higher to take profit and then i will reinvest it again if the price go down. I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.
In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.
My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

It would take a long time before shiba could reach $1 because you know why it has a huge market cap and it will be really hard for it to go up even if it is bull run. Look at Doge even if it was supported by Elon Musk did it reach $1? Doge is evolving already for a long period of time compare to shiba though it is part of the top crypto currencies in Coin market cap but still it never reaches $1. You are right nothing is impossible could you still wait for about 50 years for shiba to reach $1? The truth is that the more often you buy/sell, the less profit you make in the end. Oh no that is sad to hear. Once a wallet got hacked and all your tokens was stolen in your wallet there is no other way to secure it. You just need to accept the fact that it is all gone. A crypto wallet has a one unique private key or pass phrase that you need to secure in a safe place once it was hacked you can never retrieve your wallet back. It happened to be back then i never recovered it. Next time we need to be vigilant we should not click any link in our emails, social media, text messages if you seems it is suspicious. Those phishing link can really hacked the accounts that is stored in our personal computers. |
