101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: April 29, 2019, 11:21:11 PM
I have tried several times to avoid bounties which require KYC not just because they may not be successful but for the reason that KYC is meant for customers but not promoters.  If KYC means "know your customer'' then why do bounty hunters have to fill such forms when they are actually not buying anything? Bounty hunters should not have tolerated this KYC thing from the beginning.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: April 28, 2019, 08:12:50 PM
Well, in the beginning, people invested in ICOs thus cryptocurrencies mainly because those projects raising funds through the ICO were seeking to solve some important problems. But what do we see these days, most of the projects are just trying to raise money to fill some few pockets. This has affected the passion people had for cryptocurrencies. Again the crypto market has been diluted with cryptocurrencies which no one could predict their future. I believe these among many other reasons are keeping people away from investing in cryptos.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: April 27, 2019, 08:00:17 PM
I am still hunting for more even though bounties are no more attractive. I believe another 2017 will come so I am accumulating all my rewards towards that. If you ask about survival, I am currently farming and that is how I survive now.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 27, 2019, 07:32:46 PM
My piece of advice is simple;
1. Buy as soon as you can afford.
2. Do not expect your money back any soon.
3. Do not promise anyone anything from your potential returns from bitcoin.
4. Be ready to keep it as long as possible.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 25, 2019, 01:28:05 PM
It hurts but I’m beginning to accept Man City aren’t going to slip up now. They’ve won every PL game since January, what can you do to compete with that.

I’ll take consolation that their dirty oil money still can’t buy them a CL trophy.

They have Burnley, Leicester & Brighton left to play, I think it’s over Sad

The feeling that you’re currently going through is the same feeling that Manchester United and Liverpool fans are feeling. As a Manchester United fan it always hurts to see Manchester City win the title, and last night Manchester United did nothing to stop them from winning it. I feel Leicester City is the only team that can spring a surprise on Manchester City, other wise there’s nothing stopping them from winning the title.

I think that  Leicester is the only of the remaining 3 teams that cut make a surprise against Man City, but City has them at home, so the chances for that to happens are very small.
I think it will take more than Leicester to stop Manchester City from ending the season as victors. My hopes were that either Tottenham or Man United will share points with City but neither of them did. I think its over for Liverpool.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 25, 2019, 01:20:31 PM
I see gambling as a full business on its own. People gamble because they want to have more of what they already have by making right predictions. The entertainment aspect is undeniable but it only is a secondary factor.
107  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: April 21, 2019, 10:54:06 PM
Campaigns have been my best option as the risk involved is very low. I am quite lucky because a made a fortune from the campaigns some time back since then bounty campaigns have been what I do most.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Europa League ? on: April 19, 2019, 10:20:55 PM
My favourite is Chelsea because I am watching a lots of things that to be followed from my previous period and I am hoping it will be success in this time.
Chelsea all the way. I did not just vote for Chelsea because I support them but because I expect them to continue with their unbeaten record in this year's Europa league.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 18, 2019, 10:42:15 PM
Truly one can not depend on bounties as his/her main source of income. You already mentioned most of the constraints why bounties can no be relied on. What if management refuses to pay you? After all its a virtual world and as a result you can not sue any bounty manager when they fail to pay you. You need to get a physical source of income and rather be doing bounties at your leisure time.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: April 18, 2019, 01:18:47 PM
Working all your way to become a pro is not an easy task. I do not know how many we have around but I think they are either many or less. What I think you should do is to start working as if you are already a pro. Look for people who have problems in cryptocurrency and start helping them in anyway you can and as you do this regularly, you indirectly develop yourself well for towards being a pro in cryptocurrency.
111  Other / Meta / Re: How Many Years on Bitcointalk? Take the Poll! on: April 15, 2019, 07:27:41 AM
Come July will be my second year on this life supporting forum. A generous friend gave me the link and asked me to join back in 2017 and to be very clear, I have never regretted joining forum.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Champions League ? on: April 15, 2019, 07:13:29 AM
I would have preferred Barcelona to Juventus if no English team had made it to this stage of the game. With that said, I will go for Manchester City. I am well aware that they are already a goal down but I know Pep will surprise us with a fantastic game on their next game against Tottenham.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 14, 2019, 08:55:47 PM
Odd is good at 1.74 I also got it. This was a very satisfying result as I had previously predicted Liverpool would control the course of the match. With this win I'm sure Liverpool can afford to keep it until the end of the season and become an EPL champion for this season.
Win sweet win 🙂

Not the road for Liverpool is very much easier although they have played one more match than City.

Next matches for Liverpool and possible outcomes:
Cardiff vs Liverpool - Should not be a hard match for LFC
Liverpool  vs Huddersfield - Not seeing much threat
Newcastle vs Liverpool - LFC should win easily
Liverpool vs Wolves - Should have an easy win again

Next matches for City and possible outcomes:
City vs Tottenham - Tottenham can cause damage
Utd vs City - Another hard match and honestly speaking Utd can easily steal points from City in their ground.
Burnley vs City - City should win easily
City vs Leicester - Should have another easy win for City
Brighton vs City - I will pick an easy win for City

So comparing two team I think City needs to worry much now. They have the next two matches which can decide if they will stay in the race with Liverpool of course I am considering that Liverpool is not going to lose any points 🙂

Come on Liverpool. The season title is just waiting for us.

It looks like a done deal for Liverpool but for past experiences, one can not boldly say it is going to be their season for the much awaited trophy. Liverpool has messed up in previous years when they had the chance to win just two or so matches to claim the trophy. I hope this time they go straight for it without undermining any team.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 13, 2019, 09:28:29 PM
Well, it is quite unpredictable but I am convinced by the happenings in the movie that John Snow will sit on the throne. So far all events appear to favor him better than any other character.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new Projects? on: April 13, 2019, 06:00:05 AM
Yes I'm aware of the fact that  new projects come in to solve different problems, but can't a new team come of with their new ideas and partner with an old team that has an idea that is almost same as the new team's idea and they work together? It might look or feel like a useless idea but it could reduce the the level at which scam enters the cryptocurrency market. I kinda feel like all the projects currently in the cryptocurrency space has already tried to solve almost all the problems we can think of, if the projects are dying, I feel they should be improved on instead of getting a new ICO and a new whitepaper to fix the issue
Yes, under normal circumstances, already existing but non performing projects should have been revived to effect the changes they were meant to bring to help society but we are in an era where one's failure gives another an opportunity. In the mist of this competitive environment, you see two or more projects trying to solve the same problem. Why this? Its because each team wants to claim the credit, "they are the best and they are doing better than all others". Simply put, there are many projects because because everyone thinks his/her approach to solving a problem is the best.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 13, 2019, 05:43:02 AM
This greed comes as part of the human nature. We always set a target like 10% and then we make it, then we think we should make it 30%, then we get that achieved and then we think we are good traders and that all odds are in our favor. So we keep waiting for more and more until everything gets out of hand. We need to train ourselves to be content with what profits we make and should not be like Oliver Twist by wanting more and more.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: April 12, 2019, 09:00:34 PM
sadly it is over friends!!!but of course too hard to believe!
You can quit if you so wish. What were you thinking when got into cryptos? Sorry if you have been disappointed. Crypto investment is no different from the other investment opportunities available out there. The same attitudes and values required for success in other investments are equally required here and perseverance is one of them.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 11, 2019, 09:01:19 PM
It has become very normal to get scammed in recent times. Gone are those days when you can truly trust a team running an ICO.  It is now a try and see era. We pretend to trust projects and invest in them, project developers also pretend to care about their investors and when conditions become hard they simply leave the scenes unnoticed. No matter how vigilant you are, you will be scammed if you are meant to be a victim.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 09, 2019, 07:30:49 AM
Cryptocurrencies are still at their developmental stage and therefore have the potential to yield more profit to their users especially holders. Once new altcoins are being introduced to the crypto space now and then, I assume it will take those with solid foundations to succeed therefore just holding any coin does not guarantee you much profit. You need to be very selective with what you intend to keep.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: April 08, 2019, 09:06:06 PM

Your thoughts, guys? Do you think bitcoin will be soaring high again in the near future?

Why not, Bitcoin was never meant to remain at its current price. It is going to be a very valuable asset in the future and thus the reason why it has to surpass this current stage of growth. I believe that what ever caused bitcoin to rise to its peak in 2017 will happen again and probably with a greater momentum.
