101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 13, 2023, 02:41:08 PM
<snip>
I've never done it online. Peer-to-peer (P2P), yes, I did it during the NBA finals last season.

But I have gambled online before, while in an online class, lol. It was on autoplay, though.

Be careful when gambling while at work, especially if you are using your company's internet connection. Such activities can be tracked by the network administrator. If your workplace has a policy against gambling, it could get you into trouble. Moreover, I think that could be called as unprofessionalism.

It's definitely a bit risky with that hefty 300% increase, which can be dangerous. But, the 0.2x payout helps balance it out, making it more manageable. Despite some folks being skeptical, I personally think it's worth a shot. Just keep your fingers crossed that you don't hit a losing streak of 3 or 4 bets right away, or you'll be in a challenging situation. It's even riskier with a larger bankroll, but if luck isn't on your side, it can be quite a problem.
103  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Educational plan sa Bitcoin o Insurance? on: October 12, 2023, 05:09:31 PM
<snip>
Ito ang plan ko. Kukuha ako ng educational plan na mababa lang then half ng salary(signature campaign at real job) ko ay ilalagay ko sa Bitcoin monthly then observe ang Bitcoin market in 4 years basis dahil ito yung tinatawag na crypto cycle tapos ilalabas ko yung half profit ko sa Bitcoin para ilagay ulit sa insurance and so on. Bali not totally all-in sa Bitcoin para may guaranteed profit while still invested sa Bitcoin regularly.
Sa tingin ko ay maganda ang naging plano mo. Pero, tingin ko eh di ka dapat mag stick sa isa. Generate alternative plans narin para if ever man na hindi nangyari ang unang plano is may back up. Wala naman kasing katikan kung in around 4 years eh magkakaprofit ka sa bitcoin holdings mo. What if hindi? What if baliktad? Although napakaganda nga ng performance ng bitcoin for years, may possibilities pa rin na bigla itong bumagsak sa kung anumang kadahilanan, thoug sobrang unlikely nyang mangyari sa kasalukuyan.

105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone encountered any dog race betting here? on: October 12, 2023, 12:53:08 PM
<snip>
There are shows and competitions like these that exist, so I am sure there are people who are betting on such games. These matches may not be widely available in the market. If there are any, I think the gambling market for them is low because they are not very popular. I would be surprised to see one on an established crypto casino, though.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 12, 2023, 11:25:10 AM
<snip>
That's right, Martingale can be a boomerang for gamblers who don't calculate it well. Because, basically, any game is based on luck even though it can be seen through analysis. For example, using the martingale method to bet on football matches, may have better effectiveness than other types of gambling. Because, the team we choose to bet on has a greater chance of winning the match, and we at least have a greater possibility of making a profit. But, back to luck, if the big team we choose, turns out to lose against a small team, we will experience a double loss. Maintaining the martingale method may no longer be the solution for the next bet, because our bet will be 4x bigger than the initial bet.
I do not agree that using the martiangle technique is more effective in sports betting, specifically in football. Mind that this technique does not guarantee the win. The house edge should also be considered.
Using martiangle on sports betting would be a slow process as of the game's nature. On the other hand it will be quick on casino games.

This technique requires big bankroll, so the balance should also be considered before executing such technique.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Parlay Bets for this upcoming weekend in all sports areas on: October 12, 2023, 10:12:04 AM
<snip>
Did that before, on NBA playoffs. The only win I got is the parlay bets which contains two matches, more than two were all losses.
I currently have no bets, but I am planning to do it later on the DOTA 2 TI group stage matches.
I'd like to place parlay bets on a single game but it just forbids me to do so.

Consider taking more time understanding the investment proposal. Bitcoin and altcoins (Alternative Coins to Bitcoin) are volatile, that means that your investment could get profit or a loss in a short period of time.
I suggest you to read around, specially the forum rules so you'll be guided accordingly by the rules.
Welcome to the forum and wishing you the best of luck!
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 11, 2023, 03:28:14 PM
<snip>
I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
Well if you can afford to lose more money while you enjoy playing and see gambling as a form of entertainment, it is absolutely fine to continue gambling. Otherwise, I would highly suggest of holding your self off from gambling. If you lose, just move on. Continue your life and make a better decisions. Maybe watching others play could also satisfy your desire to gamble, try watching casino streamers.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: October 06, 2023, 09:18:45 PM
<snip>

I agree with all of your reasoning except for the statement that "your chance of winning may not increase." Logically, this argument is not correct. The fact is that the more you bet, the more chance you may have to win, but that is directly proportional to the chance that you will lose, plus the house edge.

Personally, I find it exciting to play and bet on multiple games as it adds more thrill to the session. In the end, it depends on the preference of the player, but it is advisable, as always, to gamble responsibly.

Depende sa kinikita mo. Kung under 10k ata is hindi mo kailangang i-file.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: October 06, 2023, 12:16:38 PM
Two contradicting reasons should only be greed and fear.
You lose because of greediness to win more. On the other hand, you were not able to win because you are afraid. It is always a matter of decisions and weighing your options and possible outcomes.

there should be no mistakes for a gambler. don't they gamble for fun? If a mistake results in a defeat then that is very natural because this is a game where there are losers and winners. we will be grateful if it is a victory, and we will learn if it is a defeat.
The sad reality is that most gamblers don't gamble for fun. That's why they often feel terrible after losing. Personally, I'd like to suggest that they watch streamers gamble and observe the results. It's not always a win; there are constant ups and downs in the process.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 rematch on: October 06, 2023, 11:42:54 AM
Any other fighter yes the fight can happen for the right cash prize but for a determined Pacquaio hell  No!!!
I know how bad we all would love to see a rematch but against Pacquaio , his thinking twice and this would be team money teams worst wish  especially that Mayweather has that unbeaten run going and wouldn't want to lose it when his career is closely coming to an end and definitely wants to retire a champion!!!
<snip>
This match up is currently just a rumor, right? But in any case, It think that this match is still exciting even though they are both in their 40s. I am just thinking of whether they are still on their shape to fight. About the money, I do think that this fight will be able to generate great revenue just like what they had from their last match.
115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: October 06, 2023, 01:49:29 AM
<snip>
Yeah really the empire team already have a well thought out strategy to make players inclusion into their casino easy and with they acceptance of VPN it will allow players from prohibited region to access the casino and also have good time out there but despite that we shouldn't overlook the risk of using a VPN to register on a kyc casino.
-
That would be illegal, whether the casino is licensed or not. They do not have the right to allow users from jurisdictions where gambling is prohibited. IMO, it would be better for the casino to automatically restrict access to their website for such individuals. This is a precautionary measure to ensure they are not violating any laws. From reading through this thread, it appears they also have no intention of breaking any laws. Now, regarding VPN bypass, I am not fully aware of how they combat or detect it. Does anyone have any information on that?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next bitcoin? on: October 05, 2023, 07:04:49 PM
I am a high school student. I learned about Bitcoin, but it's too late. I was so young. Because I was 4 years old in 2009. But as history tells us, bitcoin killer will emerge one day. I want to find out such coin, but I don't have enought knowledge and ability to do that.. I want to ask the smart people here. Is there a coin that is similar to Bitcoin now? something that is perfectly decentralized. I want to invest there. If there's a coin you're making, is fine too. Just let me know. I hope this post becomes a legend.
As a high school student, you're young, and you might be more vulnerable to being fooled or scammed. Do not be hasty and impulsive, especially when it comes to investments. Stay neutral in your approach to your feelings and decisions. Make sure to familiarize yourself with and verify the legitimacy of projects. There's no "next Bitcoin" currently in existence, but let's also not close our minds to the potential of other developers who's eager to solve problems that Bitcoin currently cannot solve
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 05, 2023, 06:23:03 PM
<snip>
The point is, that almost all of the main centralized gambling platforms would require a gambler to complete their KYC verification at some point, so there is basically no point in leaving one and going to the other only to have the same rules. These days all gamblers should be ready to clear KYC or otherwise should be ready to quit online gambling completely.
-
That makes sense. However, there are casinos that have a policy of not requesting KYC verification unless a user is caught cheating or abusing the system. This practice is more common in unregulated casinos, but it does have some drawbacks. When playing on an unlicensed casino, it can be challenging to take legal actions against them because most of the operators remain unknown if the casino is not regulated. However, it's essential to note that even on licensed casinos, it doesn't necessarily guarantee the safety of your funds.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 05, 2023, 05:51:42 PM
<snip>
It's simple: do not gamble if you are not prepared to lose the money. Otherwise, you'll find yourself breaking down in the end. I am sure that this has happened to many people many times; most cases are just not documented like this lady's. Remember, folks, do not gamble with what you cannot afford to lose. But if you do, be responsible.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: make some developments related gambling on: October 04, 2023, 09:05:09 PM
<snip>
Also Mobile gambling apps and websites became increasingly prevalent, allowing users to place bets and play casino games on their smartphones and tablets. The convenience of mobile gambling contributed to its expansion
countries make some positive work in this process to regulating online gambling to ensure consumer protection and generate tax revenue
Mobile applications offer great convenience to many users. However, casinos are likely weighing the costs and returns of developing and maintaining a mobile application since it is not free; it requires a significant investment of time and money. Most casinos nowadays are already responsive and user-friendly for mobile devices. You can verify this by checking reputable casinos, and you'll see what I mean.
That's why I believe that some of them may have decided not to develop an app, as they consider their website to be currently sufficient.

This site is one of the new casinos that I find interesting. I don't know, maybe it's because of how the owner behaves; it just seems to have a high level of professionalism. Now, they have launched a new signature campaign. I'm curious about how well or poorly this casino will perform in the next few weeks and months, and how will the community percieve on them. I'm looking forward to it if the OP can provide actual data, like the estimated current number of their users.
