101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 06, 2022, 02:19:55 AM

Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?

When can ETH catch up with BTC?

So many questions, so few answers .. Smiley

I'll start from the last question. Ethereum can catch up with Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization within two years only if Ethereum 2.0 is implemented smoothly. In terms of price, Ethereum will never catch up with Bitcoin.

In terms of stabilizing the market, I am afraid investing in altcoins at this point is very risky. We have to wait for the stabilization of the Bitcoin price, which will probably last about a month. Then we will know if we are continuing the upward trend or entering the bear market.

Yes you're right. when ethereum 2.0 operates, ethereum will catch up. it also makes the ethereum network better in many ways. but for the price it is impossible to beat bitcoin which is very strong. and current trends are still sketchy. I can't see what will happen next. it is difficult to predict because there is too much speculation going on at the moment. like you said we will have to wait a little longer to know what will happen next. maybe the bulls continue or the bears start.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains with Real Utility that Get Overlooked on: January 05, 2022, 04:15:37 AM
actually not overlooked, it's just that people are comfortable with popular platforms. As you can see, most of the projects that use smart contracts today only use popular networks like ethereum, bsc, or tron. only a small number of people try new networks. This is what makes it difficult for new, less popular blockchains to gain users. although many things are offered starting from cheap, fast and safe. but all that is still not enough to attract users who want to use their network.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Have we opened the bear season? on: January 05, 2022, 01:52:34 AM
Yes, good luck, I do not hesitate to say that we have definitely passed the bear period. As of now and for 20 days, everything is red!! Do you think this may have happened?

possible, but that possibility is very low. the market is very strong right now, and it is very different when compared to how it was in the past. a lot of hype right now, NFT, DEFI and so on are giving the market more power to survive.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: January 04, 2022, 05:44:40 AM
Hello,
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.

avalanche has almost the same potential as ethereum, but on a different scale. but what looks the same is probably BSC. bep20 network is very similar to erc20, and the development of this platform also looks the same as ethereum. this is my reason that bsc and ethereum are very similar. as for polygon, I think it's moving in a different direction. the purpose of this project is different from other networks. they offer a cheaper and faster multichain network and layer2 solution. such polygon were created to improve the dapps network which is currently having problems. one of them is ethereum, so even though it is not the same but polygons also have potential and are very profitable to invest.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 04, 2022, 02:24:29 AM
I still believe in altcoins. This hype will last a very long time. with NFT, metaverse, DEFI, and many more potential altcoins in the future, it makes my confidence unshakable. maybe speculation is growing too fast not compared to market conditions. but therein lies the potential of altcoins. perhaps speculation is the biggest influence in the development of the altcoin and bitcoin market.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot DOT a good investment q1 2022 on: January 03, 2022, 02:10:51 PM
I was looking at some of the top 50 stablecoins ,and im thinking Polkadot. Apart from erc and bep tokens
I want to say, DOT is not a stablecoin. Although the price is quite stable, DOT or Polkadot cannot be categorized as stablecoins. dot is a utility coin and the price will change from time to time with market developments, so it will not be very stable. but regardless, DOT is still worth investing in. The Polkadot network is still growing and the potential of this project is huge. I've been following this project for quite some time, even since the price was under 5$. I have been observing this project, and my conclusion is that polkadot is one of the Dapps network that is good enough to compete with ethereum.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we waiting for the crypto christmas gifts(new highs) on: December 01, 2021, 04:13:54 PM
there is still a possibility for that, because in recent weeks the big cryptos like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb could maintain their price. This provides a positive psychology for the market. people still believe that the bull run is extended, and many think the current situation is just a momentary correction before starting the rally again. judging by the latest news over the past month, nothing could cause the market to crash. this adds to the confidence of investors and traders. and we will most likely see another ATH later this year.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ethereum killer? The next Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2021, 10:34:52 AM
I admit the fact that solana is currently better off is true. but what he's saying is the next bitcoin, it's so absurd. he was very confident in what he had to say about this. it really looks like a shilling to make solana look really good. I still accept if solana is said to be the next ethereum, or ethereum killer. but not if it's about the next bitcoin or better than bitcoin.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Ethereum after the release of ETH2.0? on: November 30, 2021, 03:05:08 PM
so when ETH 2.0 are launched ,projects from the Ethereum Ecosystem will have to choose whether to launch them on ETH2.0 or use bridges and switch to better blockchains, and I think that they will decide to switch to other blockchains, and  we will see how projects such as Avalanche, Near Protocol, Solana, Polygon will start replenishing every day with new projects from the former Ethereum ecosystem

it was indeed the worst possible case. but I think if with ETH 2.0 the network can be cheaper and faster, then Dapps that are on the ethereum network will still choose to use erc20. there is no reason for them to switch to other networks when the main problem in ethereum can be solved with ETH 2.0. instead I think if eth 2.0 is not released soon the worst possibility could come true. dapps on the ethereum network will use the bridge and switch to a cheaper network.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Can civilization revert to a barter system on: November 30, 2021, 08:00:04 AM

In practice a barter based system could function similar to ebay with an independent and reliable 3rd party form of escrow. (Blockchain based of course, we aren't complete savages and primitives  Cheesy)

inefficient, makes it more difficult, and takes longer. despite all that is done with blockchain, barter is not a solution.

Could a barter system be a worthwhile form of trade past the year 2022. Perhaps the next big leap forward will be a retro move backward into the past.

impossible, because bartering is very difficult in modern society that prefers efficiency. they prefer to use currency as a payment system. instead of using items to get another items.

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto prices will collapse further tomorrow? on: November 29, 2021, 01:55:37 PM
no. somehow I think the stock market and crypto are not related. so the crypto market will not move like the stock market. At the start of the pandemic, the stock market also crashed. but not for the crypto market. the crypto market is benefiting from the pandemic, maybe that's one of the things that triggered yesterday's bullrun. so basically these two investments will not move in the same direction. so don't be afraid if you see a negative stock market, it will have no impact on the crypto market.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: November 29, 2021, 03:46:08 AM
tron will still be tron. this project is not going to be like ADA, or doge, or anything else. everyone knows tron is good and cheap, and it will always be like this in the future. so the chances are very small for tron to the moon like other Dapps platforms. I doubt that tron can be like any other coin. you could say the price of this coin has not changed significantly even in the bull market.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The paradox of Bitcoin adoption on: November 28, 2021, 12:19:02 PM
Merchants don't adopt Bitcoin because their clients don't use it. Clients don't adopt it because merchants don't support it, and people want to have a payment method that can be used anywhere they go. How can this vicious circle be broken? Who will make the first move?

And by adopt I mean adopt for payments, not hodl it as an investment.

that's why there must be a liaison, in this case a third party to bridge this. let's take the example of what the el salvador government has done some time ago. they act as intermediaries between merchants and users. make regulations and then slowly adoption can be done.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: November 27, 2021, 09:06:56 AM
Looks like you realized this too late. long before the frenzy of meme coins, defi, and NFT. scammers are already playing around in the crypto market through ICOs. And one thing I don't understand, those who are deceived know that what they are doing is wrong and risky. but they still choose to invest or buy. so it seems hard to stop this stupidity, while there are still many people who expect shitcoins to give big ROI. scammers will freely play with them.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 26, 2021, 09:12:05 AM
no, but he was one of the people who did the shillings for this coin. lots of tweets about the shiba inu a few months ago that got this coin pumped. he is also the important person who created the hype coinmeme. I don't think he's stupid enough to be one of the people on the shiba inu team, because it's very dangerous for his company. see how the USA government is very strict with crypto. It doesn't make sense for the world's richest person to be part of a crypto project team.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 million Ethereum burned since August EIP-1559 on: November 26, 2021, 05:04:11 AM
Since the implementation of ethereum 2.0 London hard forks in August, a total of 1 million ethereum have been burned but ethereum price deflationary is not felt yet, and still, the ethereum network congestion has continued to soar and fees have constantly been on the rise.
What is your thought concerning the ethereum network? And what can we expect to change in the ethereum network shortly?

I only have one hope, I want the gas fee to return to normal. I want GAS to be under 20 gwei for every transaction. Yesterday's hard fork did not solve this problem. and I seem to have given up on this unfriendly network. Burned ethereum only affects the price. it doesn't solve the real problem. we need a better solution, or ethereum will end.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your market prediction for the year end - 2021 on: November 24, 2021, 03:49:35 PM
I really don't know if the market is bullish or bearish as the value of Bitcoin has been volatile, moving between $55,000 to $60,000 and ethereum $4,000 to $4,400. It feels like the market is sceptical on the stride to go and it's getting to the end of the year. What's your anticipation for the market?

I prefer to wait and see what will happen. as you said, the market is currently in a state of confusion. you could say the current situation is like calm before a storm, very calm but very important because it determines what will happen next. for now you can say this is just a correction, but it could be the beginning of something scary. so better prepare for the worst.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest during bull market? on: November 24, 2021, 02:22:42 AM
How to invest correctly when everything is pumping?
why it looks so hard to you. During a bull market, all the coins you buy will definitely get a profit. So buy anything in the market and it will pay off. instead of asking this, you should ask, how to invest properly during a bear market. because during a bear market, it will be very difficult to invest in having to wait and lose.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where are these cryptos going;!!! on: November 23, 2021, 11:20:23 AM

Are cryptocurrencies losing their appeal? Where do you see which important crypto money in the future? How do you interpret the sudden fall of cryptocurrencies? Apart from BNB, SOL, BTC, ETH, do you think there are other cryptos that can be popular?

I call it a repeating cycle. this will keep repeating every time period that is uncertain. so get used to it in the future. and keep in mind crypto is not going anywhere, the market is on the track. and not one bit of crypto's appeal is fading. there will always be new coins going up. because all have the same opportunity. so when bnb, sol, and ADA start to fade there will always be someone to take their place. it's like when xrp, Eos, xlm are replaced by bnb, sol, ADA, Dot. In the future this event will also happen again.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't want to kill ‘beautiful’ Ethereum on: November 22, 2021, 02:31:53 PM
Please note, no project is going to be an ethereum killer now or in the future. no single project can undermine the dominance of ethereum in the Dapps network. Solana, Binance Chain, Cardano, Polkadot will only remain alternative options. maybe now those projects look very good and popular, but all that will fade when ethereum 2.0 comes. Just look at today, while ethereum is still having trouble dealing with the Gas fee issue, they still don't waver. then what can those projects do when ethereum has been able to solve the problem?. nothing, so forget about ethereum killer speculation.
