101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: June 26, 2018, 08:51:04 PM
This project is such a joke, if not an outright scam.

Still waiting on source code and team information.  You'd have to be crazy to run Dero's node/wallet until it's opened up and independently verified.  You've been warned people.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: June 26, 2018, 01:28:38 PM
1.If anyone invest his time/money on a project just because it's anti asic,he is stupid.
etc,Bitcoin Gold?I'm afraid it's not real anti asic now.

2.If someone hate and leave a project just because it's asic friendly,he is also stupid.
etc,Bitcoin.Any one here mine bitcoin with his gpu?

Bitcoin Gold is certainly anti-ASIC.  Not sure what you're talking about.

And we would mine Bitcoin if we could. And that was the original vision of Satoshi.  You think Satoshi approves of ASICs?  Bitmain's pools now control 42% of Bitcoin mining.  You think that's a good thing?

And finally, you're missing the main point:  the Dero team was portraying themselves as anti-ASIC and they've now shown themselves to be sellouts.

What a fail of a project.  Some of use were very clearly proven correct.

Here's a comparison between Dero and Monero transactions per second.

Dero: 75 TX/sec
Monero: 0.35 TX/sec

Weren't you quoting 500 transactions per second before?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 20, 2018, 07:13:45 PM
@patrike any chance of a linux agent in the near future or a partnership with SMOS?
The work to make Remote Agent running on Linux has recently started, but it's not a small implementation task. Expect that it will be a number of months before the first version is ready because there are many other priorities as well.
That's great to hear, as that would really bring down the cost of each system build, and add stability to the system. (no uninvited windows updates and the whole image file could be backed up intact). Great work as always Patrike! (I'll get that log file emailed to you when I get back in front of my rig btw)

I agree, it would be Awesome to be able to run rigs on Linux yet still use A.M.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 20, 2018, 12:59:31 AM
I think there is an issue

Cryptonight stellite v4 is not shown in profit table, and xtl does not show up in the coin list

Make sure your algo is selected properly in the miner config.  I had v7 still configured for SRBMiner and I couldn't see Stellite either but once I changed it it works.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 18, 2018, 03:27:37 PM
This new build 1803 of Windows has been nothing but problems.

The proper built to mine is 1703.
1709 has many PCI problems, and yes 1803 others including (some say) decrease of hashrate...

You may better install 1703. But also check swap file; I usually reserve 8GB per card, to be safe. Some miners crash with less.

My Vegas' hash rate dropped from 1900 to 1400 H/s on build 1803 and as far as I can tell everything else was the same as it was, configuration-wise.  Reverted to the previous build and the hash rate went back up.  I'm really curious what is going on with build 1803.  Was using the August blockchain drivers, maybe it's a problem there.  I've never had luck with the Adrenaline drivers.

EDIT:  It appears many people are having a lot of problems with 1803, especially with AMD cards.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 18, 2018, 12:36:38 PM
On one of my rigs, for whatever reason, the console windows do not appear when miners are running.  It still works though, AM launches the miner and gets stats back.  Anyone have any idea what would cause this?  I can't think of any Windows setting that would cause this.

Right click, properties, environment, process settings, console window mode. Default is "show formatted console window"

Thanks for the reply but I already have that setting.   It seems to be a Windows issue, not an A.M. issue.  Defender and the firewall are turned off, etc.  Now the miners are not even staying running, they launch then a few seconds later exit.  All the diagnostics log says is "Probably cause: incorrect configuration" but I assume that's just a generic message, the configuration is fine.

This new build 1803 of Windows has been nothing but problems.

Any update on mainnet launch?

You have to use the command line tool to switch HBCC off?  Why not build it into Cast too?

Hello everybody!
At the weekend we worked hard and got the first batch of boards! 5000 devices in this small shabby box.
Now it will go to the assembly. The Soldering Robot is impatient to get acquainted with the snow-white Smiley

99% of master nodes are total scams.

Serena tweeted this a few days ago!! Don't know why nobody realized!!

Atlantis comes out tomorrow or Tuesday!!! Load your bags or you are going to miss out!! Dero's marketcap is only 6 million!! it's going to multiply like crazy!

Captain:
Will be releasing Atlantis testnet in less than 48 hrs. We plan to use snapshot of existing mainnet chain for tests, confirmations and verifications.
Tests would be running for week and users can evaluate everything before moving to mainnet.

So when will the mainnet actually be up and running?  A week after the testnet?

I assume we'll be able to CPU mine on the testnet?

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: DDAG + CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: June 02, 2018, 05:29:40 AM

First blockchain to have: DeroDAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + Complete SSL + POW .
Blocktime 9 secs + Confirmation times < 99 Secs.

Sound awesome. Can't believe until I see with my own eyes

DERO Atlantis testnet in action. Watch Explorer http://212.8.242.60:8081/
DeroDAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + Complete SSL + POW implemented successfully.

Is there a planed date for the change on the mainnet?

We will set a block height, but no firm date just yet. 6 days or less though

3 days left, any update?
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: May 30, 2018, 04:28:02 PM
Well a block on the real chain was found so I guess the fork is working.

How you are going to resolve this, MPH?
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: May 30, 2018, 09:36:11 AM
What is going on with the ETN pool?  Did you not update your software?  There is no way you should have 170 MH/s so quickly after the fork when other pools have 1 or 3.  You are operating on a bad chain and apparently with the ASICs still mining.  How did this happen?  And why would you roll back to the previous version?  You are essentially performing a 51% attack at this point and have created an unofficial, new, chain.

Is MPH claiming that they were running the updated software, found a block, and the blockchain rejected it?

BTW, Suprnova appears to be operating on this bad chain as well.  Something is really messed up.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: May 30, 2018, 08:58:51 AM
Why is your block explorer only working on http and not https?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: May 29, 2018, 06:56:16 PM
I have a money printing machine but instead of using it myself I'll sell it to you.

Yeah right.

Suggestion:  do a live stream demoing the mining to a pool.  Provide the pool URL and XMR address so we can see the real-time stats on the pool.
