101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has higher market cap than the three biggest banks in the world on: June 12, 2024, 07:37:24 AM
and the fact that there are some places where they will not accept fiat makes it easy for bitcoin to make it up to this market cap. The fact that I know bitcoin is digital also makes it obvious that bitcoin can definitely reach here.
Do you mean that there are places where they only accept a specific fiat currency hence why bitcoin's popularity is increased because it can be used as is by anyone in the world?

because if so then yes I agree with your statement. Now just imagine if more countries weren't hostile with bitcoin and accepted it as a legal tender. More people across the globe will definitely use it.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My meme coins method maybe it's helpful on: June 12, 2024, 07:09:58 AM
Better If project have some website Twitter and telegram.
It is always a good sign if the team behind a project is active on social media and has a clear introduction to their project. This way you can also contact them easily in case of questions or inquiry.
Quote
This is how i do when project looking kind of decent enough for me i'll entry but i don't entry to anything over marketcap 50k-100k that's all ready too much for entry.
this is a good strategy most people still experience fomo and cannot do anything to battle it so they end up investing a project that is already over valued or overhyped which leads them to making losses
Quote
But i have to tell you once you learn how make proper money with meme coins it's best opportunity.
Memecoins is not for everyone no matter how much one tries to study the market. Your strategy seems good and as you said it works for you but it does not have 100% guarantee that it will work for others as well
103  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Addressing Block size and occasional mempool congestion on: June 12, 2024, 04:49:31 AM
We sometimes don't talk much about it especially when the network is working smoothly and no obvious signs of congestion. But we later go back to same problem when TX fees increases, and so many pending transactions are all seated at the mempool waiting to be confirmed, at this point in time, those who are able to pay higher fees get their transactions ahead of others, but for how long are we going to continue like this ?.
I hear about it all the time and even experience it myself. Even if it’s not particularly a very busy day, the transaction fees are still pretty expensive and it becomes even more so when times come that the network is severely congested.

Sometimes the transaction fee is even higher than the amount I want to buy or sell.
Quote
The issue of congestion is still very much on ground, though it has failed off as there are no current events or any rush to trigger such. Certain periods like halving, Bull run and Bear run are ideal times to witness such.
The etf bitcoin for sure has attracted more investors which will cause more congestion later on in the future.
Quote
Just a simple but decision making question for both developers and none developers today:
1. What do you think is a possible solution to this problem?.
I think we should delve into Layer 2 solutions. Their ability to allow more transactions to go through in a main blockchain seems very promising. I think we just need to be careful in order to not disrupt the other aspects of bitcoin.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I hide the source of my Ether without Tornado Cash? on: June 12, 2024, 04:14:46 AM
I want to hide the source of my Ether, for legitimate privacy reasons, before sending a payment. How can I do this legally with Tornado Cash gone?
Mixers are being banned from left to right so finding for an alternative might serve as a challenge. Instead I would recommend for you to use wallets that prioritize privacy more than anything. There are wallets that allow you to generate multiple different addresses for each transaction to be made.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: June 12, 2024, 03:43:08 AM
Moreover, since Bitcoin is a highly volatile currency, those who try to hold Bitcoin for a short period of time are exposed to comparatively more risk. A long-term holder does not need to worry about the price of Bitcoin falling.
More risks also mean more profit. Short term investors or those who do trade accept the risks no matter how much there is because there is faster generation of profit compared to if you hold long-term.
Quote
A long-term holder does not need to worry about the price of Bitcoin falling.
Most traders have that as their daily job or primary source of income that is why they have nothing else to worry about but if you have other things to worry about, long-term holding would be the best type of investment for you.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin Spot ETFs' impact on Gold ETFs on: June 12, 2024, 03:09:31 AM
Bitcoin and gold markets are different ones and will exist together but more investors will switch their capital from gold to Bitcoin, it will be a new trend after Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals early this year.
Not only ETFs but just bitcoin and gold, if we compare both of them most investors tend to prefer bitcoin over gold nowadays. Gold has been around for a long time and has earned its reputation and place to the top but times are changing and bitcoin might be challenging gold the way no other asset has done so.

These companies are looking for profits so if they see that more people are interested in bitcoin, then they will prioritize bitcoin over anything else.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: ITF TENNIS MATCH FIXING LOOKING FOR BETTORS on: June 11, 2024, 12:27:07 PM
What a load of crap. This dude is seriously delusional if he thinks that anyone with a brain in this forum would fall for this obvious scam. He really needs to work a lot harder since he looks like an amateur scammer to me.

Jokes aside, I wouldn't bother asking him for any sort of clarification since he is 100% trying to scam people. Ignore this crappy offer.

You only say it’s a scam because there’s a bunch of people who scam like this. I can show proof of messages with player, previous bets and i’ll show my own bet i’ve placed with thousands before you place yours.
But that is what we have seen here and in many places mate so you cannot blame people here to never trust this kind of promises , and besides showing your proofs here will add chances for you finding at least one believer but for us to contact you? than will not going to happen.
and also another thing that those tags on you will serve as warning to bitcointalk users to never deal with anything from you.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a crypto with a potential growth of x50 on: June 11, 2024, 09:49:15 AM
Honestly though, if you're asking this question, you're better off just buying BTC and enjoy the smaller long-term gains and just look for other avenues to earn money — like getting a nice job or starting a business.
If op is worried that bitcoin is too expensive, there will still be profits as long as you time your purchases in times where bitcoin isn’t at the peak of its price. You can also do DCA method or just regularly buying bitcoin in intervals.

I don’t think there is any altcoin that could grow as much and for as long as bitcoin has done these past few years.
109  Other / Off-topic / Re: I Went in London and i complain now not seen cars on: June 11, 2024, 02:28:27 AM
Maybe the places you went to can't accommodate these super cars you are so desperate to find. Luxury cars are taken care of and if driven in places with narrow streets and careless people, the owners of these cars may find themselves in trouble.

Why are you ordering them around, anyway? Why don't you have your own super car to show around?
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin for you? on: June 11, 2024, 01:47:26 AM
You will never be able to learn about Bitcoin through links and videos alone. There are senior brothers here notice their posts and you follow them, surely you can roam around this forum like Free Bird and surely gain maximum learning by observing the posts of senior brothers.
you would be able to learn about the basics and the fundamental concepts of bitcoin by reading and watching videos that explain how it all works but personally, I think that the best teacher truly is experience.

There is nothing like experiencing the volatility and the fluctuation of a market in real time. You will never understand FOMO and FUD unless you have lived it yourself.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FANTOM and its future. ($FTM) on: June 11, 2024, 01:18:19 AM
I've seen a lot of marketing stunts before about such fundings, partnerships and collaborations. They're doing this just to give people that insight that they should buy the project because of partnerships like that.
I think a project such as this is just trying to create hype and noise around it. We don't really know if it will perform any better than it is now but the promises of a better performance through a change or addition of tech might be attractive to some investors. I'd say it's pretty effective seeing that people are now questioning whether it's worth to invest in.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Converting altcoin profits into Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2024, 12:26:36 AM
Take note that i do not keep any altcoins in my portfolio.
To be honest it makes more sense to me to own only bitcoin but holding only altcoin is not something I would gladly suggest to anyone.
Quote
I agree with the point that you can get lucky with a few altcoins if you buy a lot of them, but what if you don't get lucky.
the thing is that they would argue that buying crypto for a cheap price is quite worth the risk of not getting lucky. Because when you get lucky, you get LUCKY . Buying cheap and selling at a high price is the absolute dream.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become better on: June 10, 2024, 11:57:21 PM
and while some may claim that gold was always an alternative, when was the last time you saw someone buying something with gold?
Gold is a rare asset that no one really is very willing to use it as a mean of exchange and instead prompts to hold it. This is what we are seeing happen to bitcoin but the difference is that bitcoin can still be used as a mean of exchange.
Quote
Satoshi changed the game forever by inventing bitcoin,
Gold is valuable but bitcoin's accessibility and decentralization are one of the things that give bitcoin the edge compared to gold. Who do you know carries gold around? and who do you know carries bitcoin around? Grin
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: June 10, 2024, 11:32:58 PM
Dead coin refers to a fraudulent coin manufactured by a scammer and this can also refer to the fake company created by scammer.
Dead coins are a result of schemes most of the time but the general consensus is that dead coins are cryptocurrencies that were basically abandoned both by the development team and investors. There is just a general lack of interest from the market.
Quote
It is certainly the obligation of the developer, but keep in mind that investors also play a role in finding a legitimate investment for their money. The better for investors to have a preventative measure to invest only in the proven coins to decrease the risk being deceived by scammers..
It is our money so it is our responsibility. We shouldn't expect anyone to coddle us and hold our hand as we navigate through the world of many cryptocurrencies.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gradually turning away from its purpose? on: June 10, 2024, 01:24:42 PM
But at the same time it also has monetary value.
Bitcoin gained its value due to the demand and supply. Bitcoin’s limited supply was used so that it can be protected against inflation. But because it is limited and the demand is high, the value goes up.
Quote
If you want proof that it's going in the right direction, look how many people in many under-developed nations are now using crypto to transact because they have no other way.
Bitcoin is very helpful in transactions between different countries because especially in underdeveloped countries, the fees of sending money to a different country is high. It’s also much more convenient and faster to send bitcoin from country to another.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Navigating the crypto world for extra income on: June 10, 2024, 12:45:23 PM
I've been in the game for about 6 months now, and I'm still constantly searching for ways to earn a little extra to buy the dips.
You are still what we would call a newbie based on the time you have spent scouring crypto. It’s nice that you are actively looking for ways to earn but crypto is such a vast industry that there are so much ways to earn crypto. You’d need more than 6 months to explore this world.
Quote
I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on these kinds of "earn crypto" initiatives. Are they actually worthwhile or just gimmicks? Have you had any positive experiences with tasks like downloading apps or completing other actions for token rewards? Or do you tend to avoid them altogether?
These “earn cryptos” projects usually give you their own coins or tokens. Most of the time, they don’t really get any value so you are just stuck with worthless coin or token. You can try it but I don’t think it will produce much profit.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins do you own or have you collected until now? on: June 10, 2024, 11:53:55 AM
I have read countless topics both on this forum and in other social spaces where individuals continue to blame themselves for not holding their Bitcoin up until today.
What would be most regrettable is if someone still doesn’t know about bitcoin until now. On the positive side, at least they are already aware of bitcoin and knows what to do to maximize profits.
Quote
Then I also came across a topic on this forum where the OP said that everyone actually sold or bought their bitcoin at the price they deserved. Those that sold their bitcoin at a very early stage perhaps used the profit to do very important stuff for themselves because if they never had any use for the money then, they would not have sold their coin.
Profit is still profit. The good thing is that no loss was made but ofcourse, there will always be some feeling of regret because you will be thinking of “what ifs”. You were already so close and you’d start imagining the kind of life you would have been living if you didn’t sell right away.
118  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Usapang Axie? on: June 09, 2024, 12:22:12 PM
Meron pabang may Axie d2 or naghahanap ng manager?

I still got 30 Axie, pero wala ng time to play2earn sa V2 at V3.

if you're interested to get 30 axie comment below.

parang napaka rare ng makarinig ako ng interesado sa axie Play2earn and sa sobrang liit na ng kitaan eh baka malabo kana makahanap ng kahit isang scholar dito , kasi marami sa ating meron ding mga axie na natengga nalang like me , may 2 accounts pako na wala ng pakinabang now kasi kahit bata ayaw na laruin ng mga pamangkin ko .
119  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ETF sa bansa on: June 09, 2024, 11:47:22 AM
Curious ako, may nag ooffer ba ng mga ETF investment sa Pilipinas? Usually ang mga nababasa ko has something to do with mutual funds and stock trading lang eh. I think ETF is in the middle right?

Kasi kung meron ETF, then it would be easy for Filipinos to have the capability to invest in cryptocurrencies now kahit walang alam sa pag gawa ng wallet etc.
and I think ETF for Bitcoin will show kung paanong pinopromote or suportado ng gobyerno ang Bitcoin and with that eh malamang magkaron na ng mass adoption para sa ating crypto community .
and sana maraming maraming big investors ang mag comply para dito so talagang malawakan at magiging makasaysayan ang pagkakataong ito dahil baka isa tayo sa mga bansa sa Asia ang magkakaron ng bitcoin ETF.
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 4CryptoBet: Reclaiming the Throne of Online Gaming! 🎲 on: June 09, 2024, 11:27:39 AM
I have e-mail correspondence in which they write that my witdhraw will be processed and I will receive a bonus for the largest deposit in a week and another bonus for the fact that the withdrawal is longer, these promises were made a year ago , I have not received anything from them until today, so I even lost my deposit.

I guess you should also bring that Email here to prove all your claims against this casino , because you are correct that they have gone for a year while you are waiting for your funds till now.
do they stopped communicating to you? sorry that you need to experience this but lets see what their representative  has to say this time here.
