101  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 22, 2016, 11:55:11 AM
Of course, because I still believe that bitcoin will continue to grow

Yeah and I think that bitcoin is still in its initial stage and it has lot to offer in future, so if the price of bitcoin falls down it doesn't mean that bitcoin is dead, price fluctuation is a part of bitcoin process, and bitcoin needs a support from the users and we need to introduce it to friends and family more and more users getting into bitcoins can make bitcoin shine in the future.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if the bitcoin disappear ? on: January 22, 2016, 11:51:36 AM
Worst of all are influence of those main stream media with their filty talks about Bitcoin.

I'd rather say that world's major countries goverments announcements of upcoming/possible bans and regulations. But gossips in that matter are also still dangerous.

Media and Governments will play a major role in deciding the future of bitcoins, if both of them come in support of bitcoins, then it will gain attention from the people, and if they don't come in support then people won't entertain bitcoins, and will never support bitcoins, so at this stage it is very difficult to predict that bitcoin will survive or simply disappear in the future.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: January 22, 2016, 11:48:29 AM
I don't have any problem with Bitcoin, TBH. But most likely the security of my Bitcoin and the Bitcoin market.
yes security is still a big question mark, especially when we talk about government recognition.
Security for what?
for your wallet or your identity?
I think bitcoin has very perfect for the security of identity and your wallet, your bitcoin will not be stolen if you have many verification in your wallet

Yeah I don't think that bitcoin wallets are unsafe unless you have careless approach towards it, bitcoin is very safe and cannot be stolen easily. If you have taken care of basic things then you don't need to worry regarding the safety of bitcoins, the problem that I am facing is that I don't have any physical shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, So I am not able to buy any physical goods using my bitcoins.
104  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 22, 2016, 11:44:20 AM
Bitcoin wallet because you can be your own bank w/o someone taking your btc.

The only disadvantage is that when the bitcoin is in your wallet, you cannot earn bitcoin interest. Just the value increase.

Yeah thats right but you will get a higher value than the interest when you have a bitcoin in a value due to a difference in growth in a month. This will never be experienced in a bank, But when invested in shares with cash the same can be achieved. So both bank and bitcoin wallet are important.

That's true both are important, but the only fact I like about bitcoin is that I am a owner of a my own bank in the form of digital wallet, and I have total control on my money, I can use it 24/7, no paper work, no rules and regulations, the only disadvantage is that I am not earning interest on bitcoins, but the price volatility will balance that difference too, as I will sell at the higher price and earn profits out of it.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What regular people think about bitcoin ? on: January 22, 2016, 11:39:59 AM
My family thinks it's something illegal and always tell me be careful when dealing with it since government is very strict (the problem is they don't know anything about it and are more of a traditional thinkers therefor when I earn money thru online, they assume it may be some sort of illegal stuff). My friends think it's too complicated for them to get on board, no matter how many times I tried to break it down for them into small pieces.

Family will always scared of online stuff as they are not used to it, and they haven't into the technology as we did, as when internet took birth they were scared of it too, and they have only one feeling that internet involves bad activities, so it is very difficult for us to convince them, but we need to show them the positive part of bitcoins and change their mentality.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 22, 2016, 11:34:34 AM
Bitcoin is worthing 400 dollars a bit above it ,soo a thing or something that has worth is money atleast as i know, the thing is we dont have yet a market to spend our bitcoins ,we will see bitcoin growing slow on the next years or maybe boom, the thing is if shops ,markets must allow to pay with bitcoin as soon as they allow people will come to bitcoin.Atleast to save some money montly.

Yeah we need more merchants that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, then only bitcoin will hit the mainstream and become more stable, but looking at the present scenario, it might take decade in third world countries, as they are not aware about the bitcoins, at a moment bitcoin is taking care of my basic expenses, so it is real money for me, and I wish bitcoin gets widely used and widely accepted across the globe.
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2016, 11:25:49 AM
Gambling, had a decent BTC stack at a time but went and gambled it (it was low value at the time), also saving some BTC in online wallets was a bad idea (Mtgox).

You need to use safe wallets as scammers and hackers have a close eyes on our hard earned coins and they would do anything to rob us in the best possible way, I haven't been scammed or robbed yet but yes at the initial stage I sent it to wrong address, though the amount was not too big, but I learnt from that mistake and now I check and recheck before sending bitcoins to any address.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2016, 10:41:08 AM
I grow my bitcoin with a sig campaign and trading mostly.

Other things like faucets, or microtask take too much time for too less bitcoin.

Signature campaigns are the best and the safest way to grow your bitcoins, people who wants to enter the world of bitcoins and want to make some bitcoins for them signature campaign is a descent way, and going for trading or gambling at initial stage is not suggested as they will loose and have a negative feeling towards bitcoins.

since yesterday many faucets make less satoshi...
it will be a little harder for beginners to grow bitcoin.
sign campaign is perhaps now a better option...but I feel that sign campagn will give less too...
The more people want sign campaign...the less it will pay...
this is market law...

Yeah Signature Campaign is good at a initial stage, but for long term its not a good option, trading can make us grow our bitcoins in a quick time, or there are other online jobs that pays in bitcoins, so you need to work on multiple projects that pays in bitcoins, people take help of gambling to grow their bitcoins, but at the end of the day they end up loosing everything, so it is better that you play safe.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is growing faster than Bitcoin on: January 22, 2016, 10:35:58 AM
It's hard to believe this is true.
A while ago I saw a screenshot where bitcoin already bypassed paypal. LIke it should, since bitcoin has more features for the average user.

Exactly, bitcoin is very transparent as compared to Paypal, Paypal involves a list of rules and regulations and it is also noticed that Paypal has lots of hidden charges which it imposed on their customers, So in short customers are being cheated by Paypal, on the other hand Bitcoin has no hidden charges and transactions are very cheap and instant, So people who are into bitcoins would surely never use Paypal.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: January 21, 2016, 01:40:20 PM
Most of us are waiting for it to happen in the future.
I hope that it will be come true.

If you are hoping for the price to fall down to $100 in the future then you don't have much confidence in Bitcoin. Otherwise you wouldn't say such a thing. It won't happen anymore unless the demand plummets to record lows.

yeah I think a lot of people who save and hold bitcoin, do not want that to happen
if you want as it happened, I think you have to bury your dreams,
because bitcoin prices will not fall again below $ 200

That's true and people who are waiting for the price to fall for $100 are really wasting their time, I don't think that it is ever possible that bitcoin will go that low in the coming future, Its time for bitcoin to rise and the value is rising at a moment and the best thing is the value is more stable as compared to the past, So want that it should cross $500 and remain stable for a longer period of time.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 21, 2016, 01:37:06 PM
It only matters if the price goes around 1 dollar. Everyone who invested would hate Bitcoin and sell all their coins.

Do you think there are some bitcoiners who will wait intel the price reaches one dollar ! Hundreds of people sold their coin because of 70 $ dollars fall

So if you are talking about hating bitcoin, it is not the first time to have such loss in the prices

Price fluctuation is a part of bitcoins process, it is not first time that the value of bitcoin has crashed, only people with negative mindset will criticize bitcoins, but one who believes in bitcoin will always support bitcoins, and yes the price of bitcoin really matters for the users of bitcoins, but if the price falls down there is no need to panic as if it is gown down it will again rise in the future for sure.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: January 21, 2016, 01:33:24 PM
I prefer cash,in my  country there is only one citi and onne place where i can buy something to eat burger
I will die with if i will use only btc

I would prefer to use cash too, as I want to hold my bitcoins for future, and I think spending at a moment for basic things will not serve the purpose, I generally use cash to buy basic things and the reason there are not many shops that accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment, and spending bitcoins gives me a feeling that I am spending my investments, so its better to keep bitcoins safe in digital wallet for future.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 21, 2016, 01:29:15 PM
I won't say never, but holding instead of panic selling is advised. I remember i did some panic selling in the past.
But after the last dip i know it's better to buy more instead of selling.

it's a simple rule. just don't panic. seeing the price go down makes me happy as i can buy more coins at lower price levels. people just have to realize that panic sellers are always losing. at some point when the price is going up and they feel good about buying, they end up buying at higher price levels. it's just stupid. keep holding.

It's not stupid at all if you know what you are doing, I love when the price collapses because I can sell high and wait for the price to go down and buy again, panic selling is not bad if you know when to buy again, it's a really good trading strategy actually. Wait for dumps and profit.

That is the best way to trade with bitcoins, as we all here wants to make quick money and bitcoin allows us to make some profits in a quickest way possible, you just need to keep a watch on market and buy it when you afford to even a small price increase can give you good profits, So its better not to sell all your bitcoins, just sell part of it and rest keep it for future as we are not aware what would be value of bitcoins in next 10 years.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 21, 2016, 01:25:59 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
i will convert all my wealth to bitcoin,ot gold. i have some reason, gold is risky, its hard to keep gold in "not safe" country, robber everywhere, but bitcoin is more safe, its online stored, and i think bitcoin ease to trade than gold.

You are wrong mate, you can convert and have it as gold in bank where interests will be paid for you. But bitcoin is not of that if you invest and the value needs to get increased for earning. There is no security in the investment of bitcoin but when it comes to gold it is centralized, so if something happened we can demand for it.

That is true that you cannot earn interest on bitcoins, but the thing is that you can earn huge profits in trading bitcoins which gold can never offer you, everything has its own advantages and disadvantages, if we look at history then gold is safe investment and bitcoin is a bit risky investment, but people who believes in quick profits would surely invest into bitcoins.
115  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: January 21, 2016, 01:21:08 PM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
yes i just like you, even i have no daily ob,but i keep bitcoin for my side job, nowdays was not too good for full day having bussines with bitcoin.

That depends on what kind of business you are doing with bitcoins, if my earnings are more from bitcoins as compared to my job, I would surely quit my job and get full time into bitcoins, and If I have good amount of bitcoins at initial stage then I can start trading with bitcoins and make good profits in quick time, and would also learn some new things related to bitcoins which can pay me safe amount of bitcoins.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: January 21, 2016, 01:17:44 PM
if you have 1 bitcoin today I think that will be a awesome think maybe in 50 years bitcoin can be 5.000 dollars and having or collecting more bitcoins I think you can retire with it.

50 years is too much for anyone here, not because maybe we are all died, unless we are all 50 years old already, but because after 60 you need to have already your retirement ready, and i doubt we are 10 yers here on bitcointalk

That is so true, they are a lot of people that are now kinda a old, but still maybe the young one will make bitcoin go higher.
I am prety confident that we can see a 1500 dollars before 10 years and I hope that it will be stable around that.

Yeah that is possible that it would reach to $1500 mark in next 10 years, but honestly for me thinking of 10 years is too long, I believe in short term as we are not sure where bitcoin will land in next 10 years or what it will offer us, we are not sure whether it will survive that long or not, but bitcoin popularity will be dependent on the price stability, if price is stable you will see more and more users getting into bitcoins.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 21, 2016, 01:13:53 PM
No. Never. But BTC could became a good alternative to $, CNY and Euro

Yeah, bitcoin will always be treated as an secondary currency and not a primary one, as I don't think that any crypto can replace fiat currency, compare the market cap of bitcoin and fiat, fiat has more customer base as compared to bitcoin and people don't easily invest into crypto as they have fear of loosing their money, and fiat is widely used and widely accepted, so people prefer fiat more over bitcoins.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: January 21, 2016, 01:09:45 PM
It is because of media. And mainly, their interest is to destroy Bitcoin by making it worthless.

Exactly. a lot of people don't want bitcoin to succeed.
So they trash talk, and are letting other bitcoin owners doubt the decisions they made.

The reason is that people don't have faith in bitcoins, even a small fluctuation in bitcoin price will make them feel that bitcoin is dead, media have played a great role in spreading the negative news related to bitcoins, and people who say that it is dead either they are not aware about the bitcoins or they haven't used it anytime they are just carried away from the news that they listen to.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: January 21, 2016, 01:06:31 PM
I'm pretty much done accumulating coins, i had my golden buys at sub $200.

When panic FUD kicks in like last week i'm tempted to buy small amounths.

Now it's just popcorn time Smiley

Yeah, for example i've sold 70% of my bitcoin, pretty sure the price will go down a few, and then i'll rebuy before the halving

That is the right thing to do, and that is why we love bitcoins, it allows us to make quick profits, which no other currency can offer us and that is the reason people are getting more into trading with bitcoins, if you have a bulk stock of bitcoins then even a small fluctuation can earn you good profits, so it is better to buy when the price falls down and sell it when price is slightly high.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 21, 2016, 01:01:26 PM
I don't think that will replace dollar and other fiat.

Why not???
It is possible for BTC...
You haven't heard of places where only BTC is being used to survive???
Also, there are countries where you can use your coins to pay for your hotel, bills, etc...

But that is not the case in all countries, many countries have not even heard about the bitcoins, so paying in bitcoins as a mode of payment is very difficult and it will take a long time to happen, but dollar is widely used and widely accepted in every country, bitcoin is new technology and dollar is traditional, bitcoin will more stronger in future but I don't think it can replace dollar worldwide.
