101  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2300 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 08, 2011, 03:48:24 PM
I swapped pools with all my buddies from deepbit.net to another one... the rate is really fucked up right now and I don't see the purpose of the 3% fee for only keeping the servers alive, that's complete nonsense... 0,5 or 1% would be okay with me, 3% makes me think of a greedy jew behind the screen.

bitcoin nazi?
102  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [80Gh/s+] Bitcoins.lc - Finally a usuable Bitcoin Pool! (EU, IPv6, 0% fee, LP) on: June 08, 2011, 03:29:51 PM
I am new to pool mining (your pool is my first) -- Last night I allocated 2Ghash/s, but I am seeing a behavior which doesn't entirely make sense to me. Should my shares value able to go down? This is to say -- both values in the shares column shown for my worker (xxx / xxx) appear to rise and fall frequently.

I was under the impression the values in the shares column represented the total number of work units submitted and requested by my miner. Is this a value displayed to the user weighted percentage of the pool capacity? What does this value actually represent?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. Happy IPv6 Day!

It shows the estimated shared from the last 30 minutes, thats why. Its been asked before too.

We're losing hash rate =/
103  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: To all of the deepbit whiners. on: June 08, 2011, 03:18:40 PM
I hate to say this, but its really hard right now to convince this bunch of people to move from deepbit. I think the only possible way is something like DDos  Undecided

hey Jine can you make a signature for forums? to show how many Mhash we are doing on the pool hehe

We need more hashrate to the pool. This is so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
106  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: For the love of god, point your miner away from deepbit on: June 08, 2011, 01:43:53 PM
Bitcoins.lc has 0% fees, also shows hashrate for each worker, also show last 24 hs stats, it has also instant payout with 0.01 minimum, and a bunch of other features. Im mining there right now, and its growing day by day. All of use deepbit miner should check it out, really.
And the most important thing. YOU WIN MORE.
Also if more people go into the pool it will support unconfirmed payout soon, so what the hell are you waiting for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok its back. Im leaving the cards for the night, hope it doesnt screw up again

"Could not connect to database server."

And when you were about to real take the fly. Jine you need to somehow make this more stable and relyable, if the pool keeps getting problems ppl (me) will not trust to leave their miners there all day with the risk of having a connection problem
109  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 50% on: June 08, 2011, 04:51:03 AM
If tycho starts to do shit, people will move to another pools, whats the problem?
He may be greedy, i dont know, but well its his pool. I already mobed to a zero fee pool, if you care about this why dont you do the same?

The estimated earnings in 24 hs should not be estimated. It should just only count what we made in the last 24 hs. If we'ere didnt didnt mined for 24 hs yet, it should just should what we've done so far.
The way it is right is barely impossible to really calculate it.

Haha its ok. But were closer now. I just thworn my 780 Mhash. Now we're 70.23 Ghash Cheesy

OMG! This is impossible!
The GHash/s went from 30 to 100 in one day? Damn, someone must fired a datacenter for real.
EDIT: from 100 to 128 in minutes? Holy $&!T

Its 69 Ghash, what are you talking about? ..

Glad to know this is rising up. Probably gonna give it another try with my 780 Mhash soon.
116  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitp.it launching a pool, help us beta test it! on: June 05, 2011, 04:58:23 PM
MUST features:
- hability to payout unconfirmed the same way was confirmed balance. Get them both togheter in just one counter (like deepbit)
- instant payout
- show btc generated in last 24hs
- simple and sraight-forward site with all the info in one place, or 2 maximum

also some very important but not sure if must haves:
- optional fee. yes this is VERY important
- cool gadgets for having in desktop
117  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 05, 2011, 03:17:43 PM
Tycho, have you considered adding an option to send bitcoins to deepbit to have a wallet there? I mean, something like Mybitcoin.com but where we can trust no one will mess aroun with our btc. Like a bank really, but with no fees of course lol
118  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1900 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 05, 2011, 02:11:38 AM
But please, reconsider to at least put 2% fees!!!
Currently we have 15% better luck in last 24 hours. And the total luck in current difficulty span is 8% better, that's much more than those 3% anyway.
Sorry, but I have a reason to keep the fee at that value Smiley
You like money?
I like free market and competition.

I get your point. But you know, people choose your pool not for the fees. They choose it for the ability to cashout instantly uncofirmed balance. So if you think you keep competition with the 3% fee, your just right in a little point, but not the most.
But well, I cant blame you either of course, its your pool, I just want the 2% fee!!!! Tongue
119  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Deepbit Approaching 50% Once Again on: June 05, 2011, 01:10:43 AM
MUST feature that Deepbit has, and other pools dont:
- you dont need to wait for confirmed balance, since there is only one counter with the confirmed and unconfirmed balance together that you can payout
- very simple and straightforward design with gadgets and other crap that people like

Thats it!

until other pools dont include this, people wont move. because this is (and obviosuly the hash rate) what makes deepbit so stable and likable to be.
You just have to start mining and check the ONLY counter every hour to check how are you doing.
And you can easily know how you made in the last 24 hs (to the right "= X BTC in last 24 hs"
120  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitcoins.lc - Finally a usuable Bitcoin Pool! (IPv6, 0% fee, Long polling, JSON) on: June 05, 2011, 12:52:20 AM
Im sorry to say this, but Ill be back to this pool when the unconfirmed/confirmed balance can be payout equally. I cant loose my time, since im not very big miner and I need stable results
